Watching your photoshoot I couldn't help but wonder 1. how one becomes a skating cameraman (that's a very specific skill set!) and 2. How much Minute Maid did you drink?? 😁 Oh and Maia, I know Alex literally does all the lifting but your weight training workout is paying off! Your FD was spectacular. I know you guys work so hard but your skating looks effortless, which is the point, I think.

ive always wondered but how do you afford to travel so much? do the companies pay for your hotel/transportation costs? do the sponsor shoots affect your training at all? happy birthday maia! that cake and korean chicken looked delicious!
The companies pay for hotel and travel when we are doing shoots. If we ever miss a training day because of a shoot, we make sure to make up for it by skating an extra day on the weekend or getting evening ice.
i wonder if those cameramen skating and filming on the ice had just learned how to do it... it seems hard holding a camera and trying to focus on the Shibs and take a good shot while moving on two blades
