I've recently done that for myself, and at 3am I realized that a song I've known since middle school has actually become so relevant to my life. My parents didn't understand it at first but now they do. I'll be sending my mother this song in the morning.

Very depressed he was, escaping a life that to him wasn't what he wanted, wasn't what made him happy,his heart wasn't there with the one's he were with at the time.
He wasnt supported,he never had the love he should have given to him as a child,to be able to talk freely ornlive freely of who he truly was.
He hated the man he became it caused him too much pain,he hated he were treating the ones he truly loved so poorly because he couldmt comminicate.
It dates back to his child hood what he lacked in which if he had those thing's he would still be here.
Support your family members is what everyone needs when rhey ste going through anything that feels a lit to them,not how you see it but how the one depressed see's it!!
Love them unconditionally, if you see they are sick talk to them about receiving help,stand by them,stop judging them, don't out them down to others or to them.
Love it all comes down to that one word it can help anyone, if they feel loved cared for and free to be themselves and express themselves they wll make it..

Fucking love this song and they made a brilliant acoustic version. So much better than attempts by other rock and metal bands at the same thing.
Playing with people's feelings is something I wish wasn't ever done to anyone it makes it really hard to find the true story and some other time it could be you next time remember that before you do it to someone else it really will come back to haunt you when you least expect it to be good to all people
I've had my share of drinking, pills. I'm 67 yrs old, 32 years without a taste and the other shit I really don't remember. I just pray to God that I didn't hurt anyone during the blackouts. It's happened to me I was having a really bad day and some clown and his friends had to start. I don't understand why anyone would do that toe people who are sick like this! Next time it's not gonna end up well for those who start with me.

The fact that anyone can get mad at someone suicidal and making remarks like "dumbass" "thats selfish" "what about your kid you pos" "how can you leave your child like that" i could go on and on... it really breaks my heart how people can say those things and not see how that person needs UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!!! THAT person is literary only thinking that theyre doing their child a favor. When you feel like all you do is hurt your child, and your in that state of mind and emotion, you're at a place where you have justified it and didn't have to justify it. Because to you, you just knew it was the"selfless thing to do" the best thing to do. Obviously your different coming out of that mind frame. So, they dont need to hear you say "well, I'm glad you dont think youll do that dumb shit or think stupid shit again."

have you seen the one Brent did with Zach and all they did was sit down and discuss certain songs, he says there are many interpretations of the songs meaning, but the most meaningful is about suicide over his addiction, I can't remember when it was that the interview was recorded or the name of it though, I saw it quite a while ago too.

Nah, they just disagreed that ALL music "would be shit without drugs". As I said in my previous comment to you, every rock fan knows that many bands/artists, including some of the greatest, did drugs. But your "music would be shit without drugs" comment implies that it is impossible to make good music while sober, which is untrue. And while I agree a lot of the music that is coming out now is pretty bad, great music can still be found if you look (Shinedown, 3DG, Seether)

i have mixed feelings for this song. partly because i would hear it at the worst point in my life and it didnt help that i always listened to it on the radio when i was around the person causing my life to be hell, and every time i hear it now it reminds me of them i wish so bad it didnt because this is an amazing song but we cant control what controls us.

Except that drugs almost killed the lead singer of this band. And, If I remember correctly, most of the awesome songs on this album were written after he decided to get clean. I'll admit, many great songs, albums, and bands were influenced by drugs. But I wouldn't go as far as to say "music would be shit without drugs"

Let me clarify...I'm not talking like Katy Perry and. Britney spears pop music of course they're not that. They just seem like they've switched they're style to appeal to a greater audience. It went from staring down a barrel of a 45 to having hayleys comet wave at them. their last albums have been filled more with rock ballads than Nu Metal. Trust me I know my music..I've traveled around with my stepfather pat Daugherty of black oak Arkansas and help set stages up for them, skynrd, deep purple and other great bands.
Rock music is the only kind of music awesome without drugs, not unlike most of the electrical shit made these days where you should take 5 pills to make the party cool (I'm talking bout hardstyle, dubstep etc.)
