Cappuccino Tank Rust

If you are looking at buying a Suzuki Cappuccino, be aware of the condition of the fuel tank. Look around at the experiences of other Cappuccino owners, particularly the fuel tank. It seems that rust in the fuel tank is a common problem on these cars regardless of how great it may look on the outside. Getting the tank out for proper cleaning and sealing is a big job. The drive shaft, part of the exhaust, the wheels, the entire rear sub-frame and drive axles have to be removed to drop the tank. You can access the fuel pump and the fuel level mechanism by taking out the plastic interior panel, and from there you can have a look inside.
