Dirt's aesthetics, soundtrack, and style are half the reason I play the games. They always knock it out of the park when it comes to that department, moreso than anyother racing game I can think of
Supposedly quite a lot of the people involved in Dirt 5 were originally from the team behind Sega Rally Revo and Motorstorm, and Codemasters' other game Grid Legends was produced by developers from Project Gotham 4 and Sumo digital.
Man the ending has me sad for the future of gaming. Nothing is worth anything anymore according to everyone. Peoples hard work and the art that is the product is always only worth how many hours of blah blah and how much content. Always an issue of quantity over quality. And digital library? Subscriptions? Man. Fk that hard. The best years of gaming are behind us and I sure am glad I grew up in the time I did and not now.
This game gives me 90s vibes with the menus. Reminds me of Shox from EA-Big with the colorful tracks. The progression is great and the visuals are sweet. I don't like the Gymkhana, never did. It kills the flow for me. I don't think they should remove it just make it a separate mode. Overall this game was breath of fresh air and just mindless fun.

This game is a glorified tech demo. It’s pretty ,but there is nothing to keep you coming back and the sense of speed in this game is asscheeks
they havent updated the game for a year now, idk what’s going on with codemasters and ea

What does it change for you? Lesser number of new good games? That is a good thing. We don't have that much time anymore to play

Thanks for making an honest video on this title.
I just replayed Dirt 3 and somehow it just feels better than this game.
Its a great splitscreen racer ;)
Yeah I never enjoyed this game, and the lack of replay mode hurt it too
The tracks are waaay to conservative tbh that’s a a big turndown for me
