Land Cruiser is my fav as well, but it's pretty clear Bleepin built the best off road capable rig, by quite a wide margin.
Colt sure wants it more than anyone too, as well as being the best UA rig out of the 3.
I agree. But I was a Rad Mischief favored. But Nate dude has a sick overhand!!!!! Positivity is the essence of this series.
Experience won out. The Chevrolet is built by very experienced dudes.
I agree, I wanted to vote for Nate and Dave, but that S-10 just got the job done.

Bleepin out built, out crawled and way under budget. They love having fun but they are dead serious and are so good they can kick back like it ain't no thing !!

Rudy did a great job, but Bleepin Jeep just has so much more experience building rigs and wheeling in more parts of the country. They were going to be hard to beat. Congrats Colt and Matt
Wow Colt I can't believe what a great job your doing this run. Whats really mind blowing is its a S10 and 4.3 V6 I didn't think this little engine could do so well.

Rudy gets enough points for being Matt’s son, he doesn’t need any bonus points. He seems like a good dude, but let’s be honest, we wouldn’t know who Rudy was and he definitely would not be in this challenge if his dad hadn’t built a super successful RUclips channel. He’s clearly talented and will only get better, but he’s not really on the same level as the other two teams. He’ll probably get there someday, but he’s not there yet.

I kinda was rooting for Colt. Built that out of a little garage using his knowledge and limits on funds. Hell he built that for 1/2 the price. Fun series.
Really Bleepin Jeep is an established channel focused on showing everyone how to build and use every level of 4wd vehicle on a budget, and have developed some useful products, knew all along they had it in the bag. The LC channel guys do something similar and its an all round appropriate vehicle for many situations especially if youre sleeping in the back, good for people, right up to buggy stuff, almost. Wanted to root for RAD, but Im happy he just got the opportunity to be there, hes a young guy, microblogging his offroad hobby in the after hours at his shop, sure his dads famous in the 4wd space as of 2.5 years ago hos meteoric rise, but it doesn't seem he's much different than a regular son of a guy with a big shop. And he doesn't much use his dads shop but for the occasional tow, a free part and exposure. I guess thats why I watch him. He isnt overpolished, just a 20 something working on his stuff after hours in hos bosses shop with a keeper helping him out. Would have been cool but Colt deserves it, the others got an awesome build experience and exposure. I know the LC guys have been around too. First i saw of them though one might be tv famous? Still i enjoyed the videos of the 2nd guy who tookover. Colts been in the game a long time, seems genuinely a good dude, and seems he belongs there. The contest and voting was to me just window dressing. And the host reminds me too much of watching TV.
Words I never thought I’d say in my lifetime…That Chevy S-10 is a badass! It also helps that Colt is a “Bleepin’” badass wheel-man as well. From the first challenge they did after the rigs were built out, it looked like the S-10 was the best built rig for this job. Plus they spent the least amount of money which makes it even more badass! Nicely done Bleepin’ Jeep!👍👏

Looks like Matt gets to ride the coat tails of all the hard work Colt did. Colt definitely deserves to go on UA. I was rooting for Nate and Dave tho and still think the LC is by far the most practical build. I have a full size k5 myself and almost went with the Ram Charger except Rudy over complicated a very basic budget build. Thanks for the entertainment Ian and Onx.

Im not sure what people expected from this series. 3 of my most favorite RUclips channels are featured here. Each one knew the rules, each one had a balanced opportunity, and each one chose there fate. Nate has has the best overland vehicle. BleepinJeep has the best planed vehicle, Rad has the best utility vehicle. I personally was a Mischief Rad fan. But 1000% a BleepinJeep convert at the end. I Will build this vehicle and make the run to Ophir Pass in the next year or so with the BleepinJeep build. The hate in this world is the reason we as humans will never prosper. Look to the positive, its the reason im here today. Love to all the people that made this series possible. I am going to dedicate my build to OnX and only use there sponsored links to do it!!!

I watch all three of these channels and love the work all of these guys do, that being said... Man did Rudy beat the RadCharger up.. Colt didn't play around with building Smokeshow and Nate and Dreamcicle did incredible things for a practically stock rig. I would love to see someone build out a second gen Dodge Dakota for the next UA challenge, they have the potential to match Smokeshow if done right.
I loved my 93 xcab 4x4 Dakota. Had the 5.2L TBI and put down some serious power after I put headders and a performance CPU in it. Was a sad day when I rolled it.
They are pretty solid rigs. My brother has a 97 Dakota 4x4 with a 5.2 he ordered in 96. Has close to 400k on the original engine abs transmission.

The Land Cruiser is my favorite build, but there's no denying that the S10 is the most capable of the 3.

the Bleepin S10 seems the most overbuilt for task of the 3... massive axles, tires, tiny body and leaf springs....
and the Ram Charger is just a spectacle....

All three vehicles were outstanding in their own unique way and I would be proud to take them all on the trail. It’s pretty clear the s10 fit this style of trail better, but I was doing an long overland style the Land Cruiser would be more desirable. The Charger is probably the most suited for the widest variety of “the unknown” trails, just so long as you have enough space for it. It would be my pick for those deep rutted out backwoods trails.
Colt and the smoke show should be going to UA, but I have as much faith in this competition as I do in the OnX app (OnX has failed me enough that I rarely check it anymore)
Cool builds, but i think terrible part on "on x off road" part. Making rules and challanges on the spot. What was the rules on the whinching bet? Why did no one bet 100 whinches on 5000 votes?
They could of bet 1000000000 winches....but if you didn't get the number of pulls correct you didn't win the votes....and if you went over you lost the votes

As predicted, the S10 and Colt for the win. Great at everything, not weak anywhere.
Besides that, they have enough budget left over, they could almost make another S10 crawler.
On the other two, I never understood the full sized choice for this challenge.

Nate's love for quirky put him behind the 8 ball from the getgo. Its great at times, makes for a good channel, but for something like UA I think following a classic recipe would have been a better route.
Never heard of Rudy or seen any ofvhis stuff. Fab work looks decent, but he built a show truck and going over budget and poor trail performance reflects this.
Colt followed the timeless recipe of skinny body with wide 1-ton axles, he keept it affordable by using leaf springs, he put money where it mattered like a budget doubler and chromoly axles instead of silly things like resigning your grill/headlights or a custom headliner 🙃 to me he's the clear winner of this competition AND has the most UA capable rig

I was just in Montrose for the great American crawl. People said scratch and dent was more difficult then topless, but it definitely isn’t from the looks of this video. I should have ran it!
Calamity on the other hand looks fun!! Wish I would have ran that one. Looked like a hell of time with those rigs though!!!

It’s pretty clear the S10 is the best wheeler. I’m partial to GM trucks though i wheel a bobbed Colorado that’s basically the same setup with a LQ4, TH400,203/205 on a Dana 60 and 14 bolt

I'm a bit surprised that Rudy said he can't drive out But if he took off the rear drive shaft & he can drive it front wheel drive only ! I had do it in a 1978 bronco after loosing the rear yoke & drive shaft on highway at speeds 50-60 mph & drive on just the front axle the 125 miles home !

How are all the other UA drivers selected? Would be great if there was more offroad RUclipsrs to have more recognizable drivers in the UA.
I really think the way this whole thing is scored is pretty dumb actually …Rudy’s truck is like done ,, yet he is in second , Nate’s rig has done more with far less drivetrain mods and didnt break .. for me Nate wins hands down for building a versatile ,well built ( not constantly breaking welds) Even tho he has stock axels … like putting camp up with blindfolds 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ what the hell does that have to do with building a rig , or pulling shocks honestly , kinda dumb..

How do I find the section for aftermarket parts? I can’t seem to find it anywhere on my OnX website. This has been a great challenge for these guys. And very entertaining for us watching them.
