Nah, I mean, you'd know each other very well as you ARE each other, you'd likely have a similar or even the same thought process, depending on what the future has been like for your future self.

I wasted 10 years of my life stressing that I would miss on meeting that special someone because I would rather stay home. Turns out they were never in the area I was looking. 😢 Now that I'm in the future I would tell my past self to focus on loving myself instead of pushing myself to be what I'm not for the sake of others

This sounds like the first version of a really great movie script. It is clear that the future wife has also talked to her future self since, without meeting him, she will know in future what she missed tonight. This version sets it apart from a movie like "About Time" where only the man time travels.
I was honestly expecting his present self to say, "Wow, the whole world? That's too much pressure. I'm staying home."

@i .candy I’d say it’s very fragmental knowledge. I live in a capital and people on the streets don’t wear the fancy stuff from fashion shows, and photos from social networks also show you only part of the picture.

The struggle is real. Back in the day, I used to say to myself: "Ok, I need to go to this thing, because who knows, I might meet someone interesting, yada yada yada". Bottom line, most of the times I wished I had stayed home instead. So now that's what I do. I never ever go out with the purpose of meeting people, it's mostly a waste of time.
