Tent time lapse - Slider: SYRP Genie Camera: Nikon D810 with Sigma 14mm 1.8 - 615 photos at 14mm F2.2 ISO 6400 Shutter 20 Seconds Tracked time lapse - Nikon Z6 with 20mm 1.8s lens - 525 photos at F2.8 ISO 3200 Shutter 30 seconds
Mike, congrats on the great shots and time-lapses. I've been meaning to do one tracking the MW for a while; you have shown that they are indeed worth it. I imagine the individual shots had no processing also. I've moved from Nikon to Canon but they both make amazing cameras. Who'd think ISO 3200-6400 would give good results just a decade ago...
Those are both killer timelaspes! A couple of the best I've seen. I thought the slider in the tent was cool, but then the one with keeping with the Milky Way's perspective and letting the earth rotate. I've never seen either method used before. Great work.
