Superman isn't as cocky as you claim. Plus, Superman may have multiple versions, but they are more consistent with the theatrical cut version of Superman than the Snyder cut version. So you be quiet.

Superman is too powerful for any fight he's in to have any meaning. Either he's basically unstoppable, or you hit him with his one very specific weakness and defeat the point of him being Superman. There's no tension.
