Honesty I think the 2017 JL's Steppenwolf can beat/kill this Steppenwolf. Arrows didn't do much to his armor or skin. His armor is strong enough against Superman's heat ray while Snyder's Steppenwolf got his cactus looking suit destroyed and a horn. Wanted to keep fighting in the great war and wasn't damaged like Uxas. Survived the battle of JL while this one died.
These DC movies could have been so much better. I still like them more than Marvel stuff but JL movie for example so much wasted screen time on Cyborg. So little on others and misused Batman and dumbed down villains.
Even though Steppenwolf was just as powerful as Endgame Thanos, Superman was still unstoppable, think about it, like the Mother Boxes already made Superman more powerful, but that combined with millions of kilojoules of solar radiation just makes Superman really OP, morr powerful than Endgame Captain Marvel
I thing steppenwolf is too slow for thanos. Even tho I’d say he’s actually taller than thanos as well. But still slower. Thanos literally took down hulk with the fastest punches and combos. Steppenwolf wouldn’t be able to keep up
