    Great for camping too when you sleep in the Explorer. Better than crawling thru the front to get out. 👍

    Hey man great video. However I am confused about one thing. What was the purpose of putting a nut on the rod? What exactly does it do? Can’t you just reach in through the back window and push it to the side without putting the nut?

    • @HelloPastorMike
      @HelloPastorMike  Год назад +1

      The purpose of the nut on the rod, for me, simply provides a larger surface to "grab." Nothing mechanical. Only functional.

    What is the name of the yellow plastic piece that connects to the rod and the handle?

      @@HelloPastorMike hey! I ripped off the back plastic cover, out some WD40 and just open it from the back now pushing that yellow thing to the left.

    You could have removed the plastic panel rather than sawing a square though it but whatever works for you bud

    • @HelloPastorMike

      Salty, that’s the point. After repeated replacements of the part, by removing the plastic panel, I improvised and created a new, functional “whatever works” way to open the lift gate.
