- In this video I show you a simple way to join granny squares together! Start by attaching the color you will use to join the squares to one of your granny squares. Crochet like normal along the first side until you reach the corner. Chain one, then slip stitch into the corresponding corner of another granny square, chain one and do the next 3 double crochet into the same hole of the corner. Slip stitch into the next corresponding hole then do 3 double crochet into the next hole of your granny square. Continue doing this until you have gone all the way around the granny square.

I am sure this was obvious to most people but I think it would have been more helpful for me if you had started with the first two squares.
Oh wow... Your method is just awesome! Very Interesting! Thank you for posting this video Tutorial
beautifully done .
Absolutely loved watching but was wondering if you had a video where you start it from the beginning. Im confused on how to start it off
I think we have to make that border first and then we have to do this tutorial I guess?
can you please do a video on joining the first couple of squares I'm new to this and I appreciate your help and videos
+Lilly Castellon Yeah I will try!
It would be great if you did! I hadn't realized until all my squares were finished that your video didn't start at the beginning of the joining process. 😨
my grand children want to learn how to crochet, your tutorials are ideal. thank you for taking the time to make them.
Hi,

I made the star burst granny square and "simplicity" is a wonderful teacher! Thank you for creating the tutorial video!
You are really great at explaining things. I am loving your tutorials. Most times people go too slow or don't explain enough, but you are perfect :) Thank you!
You explain the technique very good for a beginner. I'm glad to have stumbled on your tutorials.
can you make a tutorial on how to do this with your first couple granny squares?
omg i love your work, if you don't mind me asking, how old are you? because I'm 14 and i love crocheting i make a lot of things i just don't make videos about it
Thanks for this one, been looking for it for a while. It's like it's a government secret!😕😊
How big were the squares? I’m looking to make a granny square blanket and I would like to try joining the squares but do I just make the granny square as big as I want and go from there? 😫 I’m a newbie I’ve made a continuous granny square blanket but that’s it
Sooooo relaxing to watch. lol. Love your tutorials.
Thanks
London

Thank you. i finished making my squares now I need to join them.
If you have done the Star Burst Granny square which is the triple crochet, double crochet and single crochet. do we join them this way? Also do we put the hook through the small gap between each different stitch? Sorry new to this and want to make sure I do it right when I start joining the star burst squares :) Thanks heaps
+Spooky Girl Yes, I would suggest using the pattern in this video to join the starburst granny squares. Answering your other question, you put the hook through the gaps between the sets of 3 stitches. For example, the starburst squares have 1 set of 3 triple crochet, then 1 set of 3 double crochet, then 1 set of 3 single crochet and so on. You would insert your hook into the gap between the set of triple crochet and the set of double crochet, next you would insert into the gap between the set of double crochet and the set of single crochet. Does that make sense? Please let me know if it doesn't :) Also thanks for asking questions! I'm sure other people want to know the answers to your questions too :)
Thank you so much for getting back to me, once I start joining I will let you know how I go as Im only new to crocheting :)
+Spooky Girl Yeah that would be great! I love hearing about everyone's projects!
Y t
i just want to know is this channel just for crochet? that would be so cool
Loved the explanation of the puff etc stitches. Slow enough for me!
Your crochet work is so beautiful
Can I just join colourful squares to make a coloured blanket?
What if I run out of yarn in the middle of my work? Do I just do a slip stick and then tie on the next roll of yarn?
This is a very cool way to join squares! I intend to try it next time I have squares to join. Thanks!
is there a way to connect the squares without making that extra row of gray? does that even make sense? haha I did the starburst granny squares and there's one row of white, but when you connect them theres two rows of white, I want to keep it as 1 row of white is there any way to do that?
I do not have a video about it, but here is another video which goes over two different methods. I think the single crochet method that she goes over would be the best option, but there would still be another layer of your joining color. ruclips.net/video/NUGb9pIcsXE/видео.html

I don't understand how to join the sunburst granny square, the row is already there and you just show how to do it including it not just joining them.
