After trying to make countless granny squares through watching u-tube videos, I finally did it thanks to your video! The difference between your video and the others is that you take us step by step in a slow, (but not too slow) and steady manner. The other videos may start out slow, but they quickly progress to a very fast pace that is frustrating and confusing. Thanks and keep it up!

Thank you so much for your videos, they've helped so much. My mom made beautiful afghans and scarves and so much more. She passed away a few years ago and I thought I would learn how to crochet in memory of her. The things she's made over the years are still around and used and loved by me and my family. I recognize that this is a really great way to leave something beautiful for the next generations. ❤ thank you so much for giving me a way to learn. You'll never know how grateful I am❤

I’m a knitter and have NEVER been able to get the hang of crocheting. Then I found your channel. Your tutorials are the best. I’ll admit that it took me a few tries and I did have to slow down the video to .50 to be able to follow along in my (very slow) real time, but hooray! I just made my first granny square!

OMG!!!! I've been trying for two months and I finally got a granny square instead of a wonky 'granny round' and rather than trying to follow a pattern or just copying the instructions, I actually understood what I was doing so when I did make a mistake I could undo it and fix it rather than going all the way back to the start and trying again. Not sure if it all just finally clicked or if this video was just super easy to follow. I am so excited, I could cry. It's been a very frustrating process up until now, but I have kept trying rather than giving up and I finally got there. My corners still need some work, but I am going to call this one officially square and I'm now ready to move on to a project. For the record, I've been doing mostly UK videos but I must say the American stitch numbering makes so much more sense. I think that made a big difference too.

Oh I might know, so when I started it, the groups of 3 dc in the first ring were close together. So I just used my fingers to slide the groups of 3 dc apart into a + shape. But originally it was like a straight line of 3 dc (dc = double crochet)
