@Erick-Emil Szelitzky Asmon hard struggled with nameless king, he only finds him easy because he practised the boss so much. NK lacks a surprise factor so once you get his timing down he can't touch you - making him seem very easy; that's how Asmon likely feels.

It took me almost a whole year to beat the game, including a 3 months break from the nameless king to regroup... then I played god of war in god mode and that took 1 week....
Yorm is really fun to kill without the sword
You should totally do a non-blind playthrough with quick-roll and your gathered knowledge of the game. I'd love to see how much you have improved since you first turned on one of these games.
Thing is, it won't even take incredibly long. On my first playthrough I took my time and tried to scan every corner for secrets and items, but when you know where everything is and what you need to do, it's much faster. I went from like 90 hours on my first playthrough to 9 on my second. Not having to carefully crawl around and search for the next bonfire, but instead just running straight to it saves SO MUCH TIME.
Also I love that you're doing this DS thing. It aligns so terribly well with people being fed up with WoW and finding a game that has a proper challenge/reward ratio. DS is just amazing and I wish WoW would go back to fucking you up the ass all day but feeling fantastic when you finally pull through.

@@matty6796 No you don't. They is a class you start with twinblades, but the Sellsword Twinblades are better damage and better scaling than those starting weapons. Forgot the class though.

Guys, Vordt is hard if you don't get under him.
Like, if you don't know how to fight him and don't stick to his underside and his big fat armored ass, Vordt is legitimately tough to beat so early in the game if you're new because his attacks are so quick and his mace is massive. If you fight hit by staying in front of him and actually legitimately try to dodge every single one of his attacks he's next to impossible if you're actually new to the game.
Vordt should only be fought one way, if you fight him any other way he's a legit pain in the ass.
Granted, it shouldn't be hard to figure out how you're supposed to fight him, since that's the premier way to cheese most of the bosses in the Souls series, but Asmon has his moments of baffling stupidity so what can you do.

is it legit?? resins on an infused weapon? am I missing something?
You can use resins on any infused weapon with sharp, refined, heavy, raw and hollow infusions, anything else is a no go.
he is using a glitch to use resins on a fire longsword
It's a dupe glitch. That's why you see him drop an item and do what looks like throwing a knife. It's due to how inputs work in the game that you can do that.
And then the run uses Sharp Sellswords. All physical infusions can be buffed.

I dont want to be that guy that's like dark souls is easy!!! But in comparison I find dark souls 3 the easiest of them all, next to dark souls 2. Most main bosses in both games you can summon a phantom to take aggro while you hit big dick damage in the background. Easy peasy. Dark souls 1 on the other hand I had the hardest time with.

I could parry Indux Gundyr but champion in second phase was too quick for me and I'm scared to take the damage because I don't want to die. Even though I suck at the game I'm at least better than this guy

After you have done the run 700 times asmon you have no reason to pop off. Darksouls and all other games from fromsoft are not hard you just need to take time to learn from your mistakes
I know these speedrunners have godly gaming skills, but it feels lame seeing them killing glitched bosses.

Well is not toxic at all bcuz asmongold said that nameless or Gael or midir are easy when he died a lot and then he acts like he is a pro an example is when he said even the pros fall he was indirectly saying that he is a pro and overall he just puts excuses all the time like "if the boss did the combo he did to me he would be dead" and then he thinks that a weapon is op just because someone who is more skillful than him uses it

If you think thats how the game devs intended the game to be played, then there wouldnt be any Healing Items in the first place and you would run around with 1 HP ,because you arent supposed to get hit right?
Let people play the game how they want to, thats what makes RPGs and Souls Games so great, and if you like to play like a "no-hit" runner thats fine, but dont act like its the "supposed" way to play Souls Games.
