I feel a lot of people don't appreciate that the sound engineers play a huge role in this sounding so nice. It's not just their voices.
EresTremulant yes thank god, sound engineers have a super hard job and it is hard to learn all the things apart of sound design
Says the sound engineer!
Yes indeed! And no, if you bought a Blue Yeti mic it does not mean youre a sound engineer..
EresTremulant it’s the sad truth for sound editors, that if they did the job right, the audience will be unaware

Instead of "Between Two Ferns," that interview should have been called "On Either Side Of A Ficus."
😂😂
"Flanking a Ficus"
👌🏼👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I believe it is a standardized olive tree.
Funny 😂
This is a once in a life time occurrence! Both people are soft spoken asmr voices instead of one being like that, and the other practically yelling
Oh your profile picture scared me, I was like: how did I comment if I just found this video?
@@joaouchoa8122 Wow what's the likelihood of that. I don't think I have ever seen that profile picture before.
I didnt get that at all. Tony's voice made the other guy sound awful. Like he was drunk lol.
So nice getting to listen to a complete interview. Plus this interviewer has some really good insights too. I swear good interviewers are few and far between.
I just think that the natural, ASMR in the wild if you please, voices and experiences are the best.
When I was a kid, there was this student teacher type visitor that was working with our school psych. She was there for one day and I was lucky enough to be one that she pulled out of class that day to practice with… This woman spoke for maybe fifteen minutes and I swear to you, as soon as she opened her mouth I was in HEAVEN. I could hardly answer her questions because I was just experiencing so much pleasure from ASMR. I’ve never been able to achieve that level again but my God, it was glorious. Life changing, just in a few minutes. That’s why I love these unintentional ones because that’s exactly what they are; authentic. Not forced, not fake, not for likes… just authentic.
I always sleep better listening to people have uninteresting conversation. Reminds me of being a child falling asleep on the couch at my grannies house when the adults were talking.
OMG!!! Yeeeess!!!!!! The best memory!
It’s actually a very interesting conversation they’re having , if you listen ! ASMR + being educated… it’s a win win
LMFAO! Yesssssssssssss that's it! Never could explain it until now. It's very comforting.
@@lilibombin6667This is not education, it’s bullshitting.
So what is an interesting conversation to you?
This is what I've been searching for over forty years. I originally experienced ASMR brain tingles when I worked as a transcriber for an insurance company. I was transcribing a cassette of a recorded statement by a woman I worked with. I was immediately transfixed by the tone of her voice - it was the most soothing and calming sound I had ever heard. I've searched hundreds of ASMR channels and was never able to find anything similar - it was all too overdone - and frankly annoying. But this interview is the closest I've come to the perfect tone that started me on my journey. Thank you so much ❤
It's demonic. Jesus Christ is and His father's kingdom is what you should seek.
@shhhh747 Why don't you rightly divide the scriptures and pray for discernment? It's written that we are to judge all things.
@@user-kg8qo4nu6r Why don't you all just stop believing in fairy tales written thousands of years ago? It's absurd. You're supposed to grow out of having imaginary friends when you grow up.
@@CodyWright-pq3eqcare to elaborate on your point?
@zera2314 The original poster said they had been seeking this junk for years. They enjoy relaxation. If they don't seek God and what He wants they'll spend eternity in agony.
"Whatever your passion is also your path." He has a perfect ear voice. 🌟

Still think John butler has him beat
@@guttersnippeesmithers3905 YES! Mr. Butler is exceptional. No Doubt.
He's talks some shit buy that is true.
Omg I rode your sentence at exactly time when he said this on video
I've been dealing with a mood disorder and anxiety for years, but it's only recently that I was introduced to mindfulness and meditation. And even then, it's taken years to further dig into the "why" of my depression, past the chemical imbalance and hormonal issues I have. A lot of it was about a deep sense of loneliness, lacking connection with family, friends, the earth, nature, and ultimately myself. Finally meeting people like me who I learned to love and trust implicitly helped me get further in touch with myself, and see how we are all reflections of each other. And similar to what this guy is saying, one of the hardest but most rewarding aspects of the journey is acknowledging fears, tracing them to their root cause, and finding a way to be at peace with them. So not only is this video calming, but it's a great perspective to have.
Soooo many people experence similar feelings... I have been helped so much by Eckerk Tolle, and The Power of Now book
I have been going through something similar not sure what to do to help
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This video is especially incredible because the voice of the interviewer is just as relaxing as that of the guest.
ASMR seems to arise naturally when people are tuned into their hearts and exude love and compassion. The love is the vibration you’re feeling when you hear their voices
Well said
@@MonsieurEldritch thank you :)
I agree, and I think this is the problem with some Asmr artists that try too hard, they're not genuine and it's counterintuitive to what Asmr actually is. I always thought it was a sensation that came from genuine human connection
Had a French instructor who spoke like this and kept failing me for falling asleep in his class. I took his class 3x & slept through all of them!
I hope ASMR content creators can finally learn to not whisper but to softly speak
Yes! That's the difference that everyone is missing! Great point!
It literally exists as a sub category ☠️☠️
I totally agree!
To me, faked ASMR is as annoying as fingernails on a chalkboard.
You got it, or you don't. Any ASMR affected person sees through it in a second.
And the excessive tapping drives me nuts! But I understand everyone has different triggers.
I could listen to this guy all day long! He would make the best guided meditations ever.

@Chris Cipollini it's just slang. No need to be insulting.

Chris Cipollini couldn’t agree more...and it doesn’t matter which side of the political spectrum you find yourself, that word has become the dumbest gerund used today....
@Chris Cipollini There are a lot of slang terms that are "stupid". But to refer to someone as BEING stupid simply because he used one is ridiculous. I don't care for the word either but I agreed with what he said. He became aware and unexpectedly learned something. That's a good thing.
I watched this before bed last night and slept for 11 hours. Does anyone else notice a significant difference in the quality of your sleep if you watch asmr vids before going to sleep?
Me personally they work better for a quick rest at mid day. They're perfect for that. At least for me
I usually sleep heavier when watching ASMR videos, sometimes even sleeping through alarms!
These people make me dead tired and yes I absolutely sleep heavy for the entire night

This is from the Science and Nonduality youtube channel. I've been a subscriber for years and there are many soft spoken, calming yet interesting interviews like this.❤
When I was working within the civil service after leaving school, there was this colleague at work who as soon as she spoke I would stop and listen intensely to her every word. It wasn't a sensual thing at all, it was a relaxed peaceful warm feeling inside I experienced . I felt calm and still like in a meditive state. I was 17 at the time. Very rarely since have I met someone ;male or female who has made me feel like that. 🤔
The beauty of this video is that both participants have soothing voices.
Been listening to this interview for years- not just for the content, but the quality ASMR.
What's his name? I'd like to look at his works.
How is it possible to be that chill, and yet THAT interesting
Sounds like he been through some shit
It is rare when both the interviewer and the interviewee have beautiful and soothing voices. But Renata and Tony are really a dynamic duo! Absolutely sublime. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. 🙏
Yanghaiying is also great does unintentionally asmr videos. Love her! Paintings, cards, chatting, tea. She is 🤩 she is so so kind!
Yeah she's amazing!
Agreed!! I love her videos sm, she's such a sweetheart
I wish interviews were like this now days. Now it's loud, interviewers are egoistic/unprepared/self-centered and we learn pretty much nothing about the person being interviewed. Most of the time, the interviewer talks more than the people themselves. Interviews used to be informative/educative and now it's purely about comparing the egos (hats off to exceptions). I'm in love with this interview, I've learned a lot and I've thought about it. It's authentic and NATURAL. I like it when people are actually able to talk about certain topic for a longer time. I do realize this was posted 3 years ago, but thank you for posting it anyways. Have a blessed day
I agree. It is more common to make it entertaining than informative in interviews because of the current cultural state of the world and the “need” to keep people’s short attention spans focused on them…
He is such a sweet and soft soul.
Listening him is meditation.
How am I just finding this channel? I’ve been suffering with unintelligible whispering, weird hand movements, and tapping for so long!!! Oh glory!

I used to experience ASMR when I was a teenager in the 80’s watching Bob Ross’s painting show. My whole body would tingle when he would speak and scrape his knife on the canvass. Back then I had no idea what ASMR was or what I was experiencing but I absolutely loved it. Now I’m 48 years old. I found out through the internet what ASMR was and I was blown away. Sadly , now with access to all these ASMR videos I cannot for the life of me experience it anymore. I’ve watched dozens of different videos and ....... nothing. This isn’t fair!!! lol.. What’s wrong with me? Please someone help me.
You could always watch Bob Ross again... You can find full episodes pretty much everywhere.
Hi Tony, I have experienced it since a young age too - pre internet days. It was only a few years back when I was curious what it was I was experiencing, I googled it and found there were many other lucky people in the world who enjoy the feeling and it had been given a name.
I don't get it from deliberate attempts by various channels on youtube. It's videos like this where there was no intention of it. I also get it in real life, for example sitting in a quiet waiting room and someone turns the pages of a book or a magazine.
It basically happens when I'm feeling peaceful and relaxed in the first place and then certain sounds almost tickle my nerve endings.
It's an involuntary response for me, just wish I had the feeling on tap!
Hope you start to feel it again one day soon!
Hi Tony, same thing happened to me, I had asmr from when I was a kid up until my second or third year of high school. That was when I discovered that it was actually a thing and it just disappeared. I could not even experience asmr in real life from then on. If you ever find a solution, please comment and let me know, I'll be sure to do the same.
This guy could calm down a herd of rampaging elephants
I find it works best with earphones in
Not only is this amazing ASMR this truly moved me. Talking about meditation and habits, went outside and lied down in the grass.

I used to watch this channel because of her voice being so calm. I always thought I was the only person doing that lol
Their topic is so beautiful. A beautiful message delivered beautifully 🩵
I want the lady to talk more! Such a soothing accent
I have to agree with some of yous. In the ASMR community, these so called asmrtists have gone a little off the rails with tingles, certain triggers, and these role plays. Unintentional ASMR just happens to more relaxing for me. Rather, less awkward. Dont get me wrong. Lollyds Asmr, Tirar, Muzz and Rift can knock me out like Benadryl. But so many of these dudes and gals go too far with Asmr. Unintentional is the way to go for me.
You should check out 'gentle whispering asmr' her old videos tho, you might like them since you like lloyds
I also respond primarily to soft voices. All the other sounds many ASMRtists do tend to disturb me. Library of Whispers mostly reads with a lovely Scottish lilt. The French Whisperer tells lovely long stories from his research into history or other topics. This kind of ASMR makes me feel like a little kid, very safe, listening to a bedtime story.
I usually love the softly spoken ramblings of spiritual nonsense, but Tony is one of those that actually makes a lot of sense.
Good lord... you're description of these videos is SPOT ON. I'm sure you heard of John Butler. The voice will put you in another dimension. The substance is not to be taken seriously. These people are deep thinkers, who've fallen into a rabbit hole of whimsical, repetitive gibberish.
This guy is unique, in that he attacks a thought, at every conceivable angle. He'll describe the most trivial feeling, with another trivial feeling. Rinse, and repeat.
I kinda feel sorry for these types of guys, because they are usually failures in life, whose feelings have dominated, and ultimately destroyed their aspirations. Basically, they've been afraid of everything, all their lives, and have tried to justify their failures by recanting endless tales of their unknown, magical, invisible psychic dynamic.
@@nezahuatez It's just my opinion. Nothing more... not to be taken seriously.
Don't get me wrong... neither of these guys would hurt a fly. They are very good-natured. They make for great story-telling. Of course... both can put you in a coma.
Both are imaginative talkers. And both use dramatic, magical-sounding terms, believing that they can, or have connected (physically and/or mentally) with virtually anything. In essence... they believe they can think their way into whatever dimension/reality they want. It just LOOKS like the behavior of anyone on some good drugs. That's how it LOOKS. To me... both sound as though they've fallen into a rabbit hole of drug-induced elusion of how they want things to be, describing things that only THEY could understand, or have experienced or have seen. They see things in a VERY metaphoric way. In their world... you'll always be a follower, because they've seen the light, and it will take years of meditation to understand their gibberish. There is little-to-no facts or logic in their musings. And people like that have always been overly-sensitive mamma's boys, serious dreamers, prone to following their feelings, rather than a typical male survival lifestyle.
I don't hate these guys. I don't wish anything bad on them. As long as they're happy... my opinion means nothing. It's just an observation.
"But, you must open yourself up to nature and align and partake and be 'real' amongst the rainforest..."
Yadda yadda ya!
Something like that you mean?! Whimsy?! 🤔 😄
✌🏼😉👍🏼
He is legit talking about talking with plants...

This man speaks the truth. We all need to genuinely feel the connection in nature; in each and every thing - living and not. We are fundamentally, equally the same as everything in the universe, and at the same time, not. But therein, equal again

When did she say that she was ok with that? She just seems to be talking about a movie. It's kind of stupid and unfair to label her as 'insane' for that.

This looks like it was filmed in 1994, the clothes, the hair, even the film quality. Something about these low budget spiritual channels I've noticed.
I agree, I was quite high while watching this one night and was sooooo confused when he mentions RUclips channels. Like I honestly thought this was filmed circa 1990.
Beyond fashion. Theyre woke af.
Looks more 70s to me
If it was 1994 the film quality would be higher, you could only get professional quality gear then
I suspect it was shot around 2008, give or take a couple of years. RUclips was mentioned. That's based on the fact that it resembles a typical TV show of that time, widescreen but framed so that it could be cropped for 4:3 television. The conscious TV graphic is also in that 4:3 safe zone. And of course it was shot with video, not film.
