This is one of the few things I've never seen done with PVC, but I've always wanted to so this was great. PVC is magical stuff. I used what's called HDPE pipe before and it gets fused together like this, just on a much bigger scale. Dennis is the man!! I could have used him plumbing my 150 sump, lmao. You should feed Zeus live minnows when he's in here. That would make an epic feeding video.

Nice job looks great, may want to put some gravel in the bottom since it's going to be covered in some algae anyway The Rock will look much better although it will hide the color of monster fish which are mostly Gray, another fish you were talking about with sturgeon and with those fish you going to need a chiller in the summer because they like cold water temperatures. I would forgo substrate, but use some large stones for a more natural look. Super exciting!!😀👍❤
Remember you want to go with a substrate that’s not real thick maybe you should think about getting some type of submersible black mat and they’re coming out with for fish tanks I think you should look for that and try it out because it would only take up an eighth of an inch you just don’t wanna put no Pako in that pond They chew on everything just a heads up that means you wouldn’t be able to have any inside lights in the pond
Yeah pacu chew on things but I don't think the cold weather would be fun For them 😉 Cali isn't Florida but on a good note my uncle's friend has 2 in a pond in Florida he made and his lights are still intact 😉

Looks good! You can use a periha pump or a mo ming, both can be used submerged or external. You could put your koi and goldfish in there while you build your big pond.

Summer will hold the temps but in the winter even with a ng pond heater it might be the way to go but it gets crazy expensive real quick 🤔😉
So true... keeping this temp in the tropical region in the winter will be challenging but you know if it can’t be done we going sturgeon lol🤙🏽🤙🏽

Unless you run a chiller on the pond and put a lid on it to keep it at temperature. Sturgeon need deeper and cooler water to thrive to put them in anything else would be unethical as an aquarists.
If you don’t put tropical fish in that tank then native species then South American species from mid to southern South America or species from mid to northern Asia would be good choices because of their ability to handle somewhat warmer and cooler climates.
This is a very cool pond. I wish you well with it and with the rest of your hobby and your channel.
Oh yeah T I totally know about the water conditions for a Sturgeon cool water but also good aeration as well, it was merely a thought I definitely plan on getting a lid made for it and as far as tropical fish I’m not gonna stock it until I find out how much it will cost to heat this bad boy!! That's not PVC liner, it's TPO used on flat roofs. Just like how pond liner is just EPDM rubber used on roofs as well.
