- This is the first look at the lawn in 2023. There is still a lot of snow on the lawn from the biggest winter on record. It has been a wild ride, to say the least. I will be happy when the snow is finally gone.

I can’t believe the state of your lawn from winter. I have so much more appreciation for how you have it looking in the warm months after seeing this. I can’t stand raking twigs up from trees over the winter, I think I’d throw in the towel if I had all the cleanup you do!

Admire your dedication, growing beautiful turf in that climate, then a snow plow rips it up, and you have to crawl around piecing together scraps of lawn like a jigsaw. Hats off to you sir.

I’ve used a power rake on a skid steer to repair snow plow damage before. Works pretty good for seedbed prep.

His was the first lawn care video I watched in back in 2019. He's how I learned about reel mowers., low cut lawns, etc. The timing was perfect.

Winter does suck! Sorry you’re having a rough day. Once it warms up and snow melts, the grass will green up and things will get better! Maybe next year put some markers out for the plows. Been a long winter and coming out of hibernation is difficult. Wishing you the best this season!

I hope the county or city sees this and apologizes for damaging your property. It’s a learning exercise for everyone. Next year possibly put in snow markers for the plow.

Conner, keep on making content with this type going. I live in an area where we get snow plow problems also. I am also the only one in the neighborhood who likes to mow low and they love it. So any information you can give me to dominate is always helpful.
You really need some of those orange fiberglass poles to outline the edge of the lawn. Also, something tells me that there is no rush to get that roller going. Roll it right now and your soil will squish out into the road!

Hey Connor, I place 4’ reflective fiberglass sticks into my lawn along the edge of my driveway and along the street before it freezes for winter. They mark the boundaries for blowing snow and the plows on the streets.

Here in New York the plows do the same thing to us. I let the plows take 1 to 2 feet because it's usually all rocks anyways.... no salt.

Hey just a suggestion maybe put some markers out during snow season so they know where the yard starts to reduce future damage if possible

hi connor sir I was doin stuff yard during winter but we never had any snow I'd rake leaves or pickup sticks in yard I had wait do lot stuff but now I'm cutting grass and doin some rollin now,rained here ohio lot,ok later connor

1st to see the lawn
In winter you should put those reflective plastic pole things you get at home depot for cheap cheap where the sandbags are. Here in PA a lot of people put them at the ends of their driveways because of ditches and old stone walls so they don't 1) drive into them in deep snow and 2) plows don't crush their 300 year old fence.
Plows don't care about markers they don't even care about mailboxes.

You have my deepest sympathies the lawn is a wreck. If I were you I'd put some kind of big rocks or a fence near the road to keep people from driving on it.
Watching this video I've learned that a snowplow can double as a very effective sod cutter haha
LOL, you drive me mad Connor, leaving all your equipment out in the elements every year. Time for a She Barn that you can actually put all your stuff in and have some room to work on fixing things up. Bonus points for Mrs Ward getting the garage back. :)

Ufta. I got snow plow damage at my townhouse. Typical winter
Connor, I am a sub from Ludington, Michigan. We didn't have a tough winter but the County Plow was brutal. Un professional. I repaired mid winter and then the same guy ripped up the lawn even more. Frustrating. I'm still trying to decide how to clean up this guy's damage. You're not alone. Perhaps you'll share your repairs and help guys like me to get over the insult, move on. Part of me wants to say, "they don't care, I don't care..."

🎯All you need is 2 eye bolts was a swivel peace in the middle. you can adjust the size. Most people use them for dog leashes or they're also used on clotheslines but you know what it is where it tightens up in the middle 🔗👈 PS your boy Ryan need some sand bags as soon as you're done 🤣

Crazy mess dude that sucks. My ryegrass is screaming green in CT right now, I think we had one actual snowfall all year. One of the mildest winters ever in terms of snow. Snowplow did you dirty - bunch of guys operating their trucks like absolute cowboys. I always put stakes down the whole stretch a foot apart and hope for the best so they don't ding my curbs.
