    The problem seems to be those damn Cottonwood trees again, if they were never there, you would have never had to cut them down. If you didn't cut them down, the logs wouldn't be lying on your porch. If they were not on the porch, the skid steer wouldn't have gotten stuck. That was the root of the frustration. Stupid Cottonwood trees!!

    • @natemoore3841
      @natemoore3841 4 года назад +1

      True. I was thinking it came down to as simple as forgetting to pick up the ratchet strap before it got covered in snow. If that hadn’t been there the snow blower wouldn’t have broke.

    Maybe the snow was too deep but I'm trying to figure out the bottle jack. You have a bucket and hydraulics. Typically you can just lift the front end of the skid steer by lifting the bucket and tiltilting it straight down. Then use the bucket lift against the ground. Back in the day when they had tires an not tracks that's how you could lift front end to change a tire.

    foresight… money is a factor. I just went through this with my John Deere lawnmower and all of the equations that could happen. My deadline was two weeks when I knew the first mow would need to be done. I learned a big lesson… Borrow a tool before renting or buying. So borrowing a lawnmower was what I was going to do until this pandemic was over to take my mower in for repair. Pricey it’s a John Deere. RUclips taught me how to do a tuneup and while I was waiting for good weather I did that and presto the lawnmower is working fine. Final outcome for all my tool repairs...borrow or buy used sell old for parts. I realized I don’t have the knowledge to go into in-depth repairs. And that is good… You have the knowledge… Sometimes that is bad...lol
