I used to get excited for every lawn video every spring but this year I couldn’t care less. Everyone else is pitching some bullshit new product that is better than the next guy. In reality, their yards actually look worse than when they started RUclips. You have a fantastic yard and you use real products that is commercially available pretty much everywhere. I’m not knocking everyone else for making a living but for entertainment, I just enjoy a real person doing real shit that I just happen to enjoy. Thank you!

Dude I got super excited at the last bit. I have the hrx 217. I love it so much. Would love to be able to swing a reel at some point, but I expect my Honda mower will last me for a decade or two. I am so proud to use it.
Great new Honda. I have the same one and love it. Just no key start. Pull start. Cuts low and bags well. Good investment. The mulch feature is good too. I love that it has a double blade system.

I gifted my brother a JD push mulch mower. Thing is a beast and cuts great, too heavy for my hills, but a dream on flat ground. Ball bearing wheels from the factory, nice levelers, top of the line Briggs.

The section of my yard I worked on last fall did grow in slow, but worth the wait. This spring I have been presoaking the seeds. But it has been so cold here that I am finally seeing seedlings 2 weeks later. Completed another section tonight. Hopefully that area will come in faster now that temps have finally reached the 70s. Feel better! And hope all is well.

Welcome back Connor. I hope you feel better soon. This is the year I'm taking back my lawn from the weeds! It's awful because a lot of thistle is invading. Not so nice when you have kids. Sprayed Thistledown over the weekend and I see them wilting already. This weekend is the Charlie/dandelions. Then I think I just spray and pray for my KBG to recover until fall when I can overseed. My first year doing it all. I've done some fert and preemergent before but that's it. A shame I have a crappy lawn for a Timemaster. Ripping out the old plastic dug under edging and putting in Vigoro rubber edging (pallet arrives tomorrow!) I've got a busy summer ahead of me!
I think you were on the right track when you cloned yourself in this video. You could make your clone do all the clean up, while you do the mowing . Glad to see you are back. I went through the same thing for a month in February. Feel better and stay healthy !
Idea for a video connor: take the governor off the john deere and run it at ludicrous revs. See how long it lasts! Even better, tie down the self propelled handle and see how far it gets down the road.
I had a Deere rotary mower like this for a few weeks and returned it to Home Depot. It was a series of machines that was made exclusively for Home Depot. After discontinuing these Machines JD stopped selling walk behind rotary mowers in the US.

Check the blades for that mower, maybe need some high lift blades to get some good air flow to blast the clippings in
