I have fine hair and my hairdresser recently turned me on to Matrix High Amplify shampoo & conditioner. I also use Matrix Total Results Miracle Creator spray. The difference in my hair has been amazing.
Am so excited to see a dison airwrap video of you. I love mine and all my clients love it too, when I use it on their hair. My hair I very healthy even with the perm. With the perm my normally straw straight hair holds the wave of the air wrap perfectly. It's smoothes the cuticle so great and therefore gives my hair so much more shine. Even problematic hair gets so much shine. That's why my clients (I normally treat damaged hair) love it so much. I would never send mine back 😊
Hello, Wolfpack! What a lovely community you have here. Happy to have found you and especially dear Gemma! 🥰 Definitely kindred spirits. "When your hair needs a bit of a hug..." LOVE that! 😁
Apply the oil at the bottom and work you way up the hair to the scalp. That way the bulk of the oil is in the areas that need it the most and not at the scalp.
The Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil is an excellent heat protection. It's for dry to very dry hair and it has spray applicator, which I prefer. A really fantastic but incredibly cheap body cream is the Altruist Dry skin repair cream. It contains 10% urea, so it's very hydrating AND it's about £5 from Amazon. Wayne Goss brought it to my attention and I'm loving it. I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas Day. Lots and lots and lots of love to you all, ❄❄❄💗💗💗💗❄❄❄
I understood in the past that they said it couldn’t be used in a spray for safety reasons 🤷♀️they seem to have changed their minds or maybe that wasn’t correct information in the first place. But, thank goodness it is in a spray now. It was awful to use.
Oh I use the cerave products on my body too. I use the cleansing oil as everyday shower gel and in my bath water. The SA cleanser I use once a week on my whole body and every other week on my sculp too, to lean it from dead skin and styling products. It also reduces yellow in my hair. The Grow Gorgeous care prevents yellowing very well btw. Some of the lines contain niacinamid which reduces yellowness caused by oxidation processes.
Hi Gemma, everyone, I’m looking for some advice on the best hair shampoo & conditioner to go for. I’m going through the change so my hair can look dry even when it feels soft too touch. I’ve highlighted hair but I go to the hair dressers every 8 weeks but, will being going sooner too get more cuts to keep the condition better. Any advice best products for fine hair that has a tendency too be dry. I’m also realising I need to try some B12 which could be a big factor. Many thanks in advance. 🙏❤️❤️
Hi Gemma, I really enjoyed this video and found it very informative. I was curious as to why you no longer have your hair blonde. While I really like your new color, I always found your blonde shade to be particularly beautiful. Thanks for all of your amazing videos!! Maureen
Girl, you evidently wasnt the only one that didnt know you use dry shampoo on clean hair. That's a first for me!! So you taught me something im gonna try my next hair washing!! Thx again for a new tip.
I never paid too much for hair mousse, it’s not a category I really care for. But decided to splurge and try the Southern Belle mousse and oh boy! This mousse is a dream for flat hair 😁 It does hold the volume for a good three days and doesn’t leave a sticky residue on the hair! It is « divine »! 😜
Great video Gem!! Really interesting about using the cleanser on your body, I have the very same Cerave cleanser sitting under the sink wasting away!! Can this cleanser help with KP?
Happy New Year!!! Hope you & your family are doing well. I'm going to try the L'oreal vitamino color. I'm really thinking of buying the dyson hair dryer since everyone who has it says it's great & cuts down their usage. I prefer to take a shower before bed & I usually just go to bed with wet hair cuz I'm too lazy to blow dry. It takes too long for me.
I'm a huge fan of Morrocan oil dry shampoo as well (and have tried a ton of other ones), but had no idea you were supposed to use it on clean hair (thanks for the info, Gemma!). Plus, loooove the smell! Btw, if anyone has other recommendations for the volume mousse, please let me know, that one doesn't ship to where I live, and I've tried so many mousses and volume mists and similar that I'm getting desperate (I have a short, very fine hair).
Thank you for a thoughtful presentation. Debating what to do with my hair at the moment. It’s going grey as I got fed up of constantly having the roots done every 6 weeks. I fact I haven’t been to the hairdresser for over ten years, my hair reaches the top of my thighs and I just tend to plait it down one side and tuck it away in my clothing, that stops it swinging around and getting in the way. My 12 and 3/4 granddaughter doesn’t want me to cut it as it’s all she has ever known. I use boots spa sanctuary products as I love the scent
Hey Gemma thanks for sharing will have to try the hair products they look amazing Don’t know if I will get the hair dryer it looks amazing but it’s a bit pricey you will have to let me know if it’s worth that kind of money have a lovely new year xx🎄🌲💐
The Olaplex 6&7 I mix together in my hand and start at the roots upwards. It’s my holy grail for my long fine coloured hair, but I find the shampoo too heavy for my fine hair
Just wanted you to know I ordered those slipper booties w/the stars and pom poms. Love ❤️ them! Nice co. -fast and easy to order. Also love that top you have with the hearts. Happy New Year to you and your family.
I have very fine hair and I use dry shampoo to give it a little volume. I had no idea that you should use it after blow drying to prevent the oil from emerging. Thanks for setting this straight.
I just started to use Olaplex. I use 0 and 3 in combination and 7 (that's the only product in my entire house containing a silicone (dimethicone)). For shampoo and conditioner I ADORE the Grow Gorgeous products. I do have a perm so my hair needs some help here and there. The Grow Gorgeous products are really nourishing but still very lightweight. I love them for curls and for straight hair (I care for many people's hair 😅) as it will not weigh down and it makes curls spring as it enhances elasticity. It's sulfate and silicone free and maybe vegan and cruelty free if I remember correctly.
Ì've been using the Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner for a few months now and they've made a huge difference. I've gotten Olaplex No 0 and No 3 in the sales before the holidays and thought it took forever to arrive (one package was lost) I've now tried it and it's made a great deal of difference. These products are pricey but worth every penny and I stocked up in the sales.
I have all the olaplex range, but in my FabFitFun box I got some Amica The Kure bond building shampoo and conditioner. They now sell in cult beauty I believe. I used it exclusively between hairdresser visits and without prompting my hairdresser committed on how much stronger my hair felt. She’s never commented before. I’d previously used all of the Olaplex products. I’m sticking with The Kure once I’ve finished the olaplex.
I’m confused about using a dry shampoo on clean hair 🤔. Living Proof says use on dry dirty hair as it has a cleaning effect and absorbs oil, sweat and odours.
I had no idea about not waiting until your hair is greasy to use dry shampoo 😳 I have the air wrap - love mine but I have found I needed to learn some tricks of using it to get salon blow dry hair from it. But no curling tongs or straighteners have been used since I brought it, and I don’t go to the hairdressers for a blow dry for special events any more.
I too have been using dry shampoo incorrectly! 🤯 I will amend my mistake immediately + attempt the correct usage! 63 & still learning so much! Will purchase Moroccan next👍
i use the olaplex n°6 with n°7 on damp hair, and then the n°7 on its own only at the ends when my hair is dry. they work great together !! but i guess with short hair you may not really need both. i have long hair till mid-back & like them both. most of the time i use them this way but occasionally i’ll use n°6 by itself too. yet to try 0 and 8 !!
I have thin fine hair and I love my dyson air wrap and have been using it for over a year. My hair is in better condition since using it and not using a straight iron
Still searching for a UK Body tretinon or effective retinol for the body. If only dermatica extended to this... maybe you could use some Pampered Wolf powers of persuasion???? 🤞🤞
I just love the Olaplex-did you try the no. 3-you use it before but I do not like the one you wet your hair with-it's messy. That's the only one I do not like
I discovered fekkai products this year and have beennlo ing them. My hair feels so soft and much much less tangly throughout the day. I specially love the apple cider scrub. I also discovered hair oils and like them but still looking for my perfect hair oil.
Thanks Gemma 💝 I use the CeraVe SA Body LOTION. I am on my second bottle. It's a miracle on elbows especially. I have had some weird skin issues in 2021 and have tried just a few products. Unfortunately dyshidrotic eczema on my left palm has had no such luck with any otc products, so far. I may have to visit a dermatologist if I cannot get it to go away. (it's gross, and embarrassing) Eager to hear more about that Dyson. I have lots of long, curly hair and I don't own a blow dryer but I find their products, and claims, interesting. I remember decades back when I would beat my hair into submission. No more. My body care usually consists of luxurious foaming epsom salt baths, and my favorite Dr. Teals scent. Just purchased an Aveeno body oil spray to try afterwards. I get sick from the smell of anything with argan oil in it (seems so many products include it 👎) so I have been avoiding LOTS. Neom and Thann are some of "my" higher end splurges, especially at Christmas time. I don't dye my hair but hear good things about Olaplex products. That Quai putty sounds like something I may get for my hubby. 👍 🎆Happy New Year🎆 E V E R Y O N E

Do you mean the volume mist? I've been looking at that one, having short, very fine hair, but I wasn't sure if it'd work since mists tend to disappoint me.
The Revlon version of the Dyson air wrap that's only £30-£40 on Amazon it's a brush that blows air too to dry your hair with plenty of volume I have fine short chin length Bob too our hair is quite similar and it's amazing and a lot cheaper than the air wrap send it back and buy that one unless you wanted to treat yourself to a bougie gift then keep the air wrap but there are many cheaper identical products
I have the Revlon hot brush and I love it. It's fast, leaves my hair smooth and shiny, doesn't tangle hair and the bristles go all the way around the brush, which the Dyson doesn't. There are other attachments with the Dyson but not enough to tempt me. I have their dryer, it's ok is all I can say, but I haven't used it since I bought the Revlon.
I love the revlon brush too. I’ve actually sold my airwrap because the revlon works far better on my hair now. I use it on the lowest heat on wet hair and it’s great.
@@jana7514 I’ve forgotten the model and can’t find the box, but I think it’s the pro collection one step hair dryer and volumiser. It’s bright pink and under £40.00. Hope that helps. 😀
