I will never understand why NYX discontinued the skin veil, one of the best base products, with lovely ingredients and in really good packaging, with that atrocity of a product which is LOADED with bloody fragrance!!!
Thanks for your honest assessments, I was looking at the Catrice palette and will refrain now. Something that would be really interesting to me would be an ultimate eyeshadow palette for day to day looks, something with a larger selection that would cover all your regular needs which could be a bit spendy because you would need only one.

I'm 43 and it makes my skin look so radiant and youthful. It's my ride or die. I love the skin paradise tinted water cream too from L'Oreal it's just divine. They killed it in 2021 with their releases.

The only highlighter I would ever use is Josaphine Natural Flawless Luquid Highligter in shade Meet Claire, No glitter! Beatiful, I have dry but menopausal skin and this just Works 😍
I absolutely agree with you, the Dior Powder no Powder did diddly pop for me. I thought I was doing something wrong 😕 I would have loved to have seen you using the Mac mascara and then you showing us your "balls" 😂😂😂😂 So nyx gets rid of the Born to Glow range and replaces it with absolute trash - well done nyx, fixing something that really wasn't broken 🤬 I've got to say it, I'm loving the red jumper, especially with the warmer tones in your hair and eyes. It's interesting how something can work so differently on two people. Your take on the nail polish had me in stitches again.🤣
Some Revolution ones are great and some are dead set rubbish. I’ve just gotten rid of 3 and have switched to BH cosmetics palettes. I highly recommend BH formula and they are very affordable, even here in Australia and after paying postage.
Yeah I agree revolution are very hit or miss with the eyeshadow palettes. I switched to bh and the Natasha denona minis. You can almost buy a Natasha denona mini palette for the price of some revolution ones. I never understood the hype around their shadows.
I agree. I have very dry mature skin and I use this as a finishing powder in my non-T-zone areas to bring life back to them. I also find it blurs my pores and texture on the apples of my cheeks. I like it!

I also got bobbles on my lashes from the Mac mascara. It dropped little bobbles onto cheeks while still applying it as well. If it hadn't been a new release I'd have thought it was old stock that was drying out.
Oh , and have you tried Colourscience spf ? My daughter introduced me to the original and glow formulas in the summer..used them all the time but for Christmas she got me the new flex formula.. Omg. Have done away with my foundations! Lovely , undetectable coverage and feel fabulous and healthy on the skin! x
WOW first bad reaction to the backstage powder I’ve seen. I have been thinking about it but I got the Chantecaille blurring powder and because people compare them as similar I decided not to grab it for now but didn’t even question getting it down the track.

For me the biggest disappointment of 2021 was Huda Beauty Purple Haze and Natasha Denona Baby Glam Pallete. I’ve never heard of that happening before, but just a suggestion have you tried mixing in a little bit of darker foundation or a deeper mix in and applying it just to the area that lightens up, and put on the rest of your foundation as usual?
That eye serum sounds like the finish of Liquid miracle (high in argireline “liquid Botox”) which is wonderful if you’re not applying anything else over it. Pricey and sits in my drawer most of the time…
Please don’t trust that sunscreen!!! I would be very concerned the ingredients aren’t blended and emulsified properly, could leave you very much unprotected 🤯😳. Love your channel!! 😊🇨🇦💕
First of all, loving the darker hair color on you! Second, I do like the Milani brightener but I don't have dark circle around my eyes I just use to brighten my inner corners and find for that it works well when I don't want to put concealer on. Happy new year!
Wow Gemma, your makeup is getting darker and darker since you changed your hair colour. You seem to have gone from a pale English rose skin, to a much darker skin tone, and using darker eyeshadows. It could be the lighting or time of day you filmed this, but as a pale English rose my self I would not be encouraged to go that dark it looks to me so false. Just my option, I’m sure other subscribers will be thrilled with your new colouring.
I’ve not darkened my makeup at all. Still using the same foundations in the same shades. Must be the lighting. I have started using warmer toned blush rather than cool pinks. That’s the only difference x

Cats eye beauty on YT loves the Milani eye charger. As she uses it must admit I can hardly see the difference before and after on screen.
