Most of the girls in the serving line have a bad attitude. The brisket wasn't the best or the worst. The coleslaw has corn & black beans in it, which was unique but I hated the seasoning. The potato salad was good. The green beans with pork belly where mushy canned green beans. The homemade bread was good but undercooked. The barbecue sauce it's more like spaghetti sauce. The homemade pickles and pickled onions were delicious. Way overpriced. A pound of brisket is $30. Pint of the sides is $5. Only gave two slices of bread for a whole pound of brisket. And a tiny condiment cup of sauce. I won't Go back.
I can agree with you on the bread. Probably store bought would be better or a longer cook on it but I commend them for trying to do it homemade. My brother didn't care for the seasoning on the coleslaw but I liked it cause it was different and it was seasoned well too. I've had some coleslaw from local bbq joints that just taste like cabbage. The BBQ sauce had good flavor but was a chunky boy for sure. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
