I find when hair drying birds you dry them a bit then let them have a min to fluff up and preen and go again with the hairdryer. I watch the bird making sure they dont get too cold during this but you also dont accidently burn their skin from the dryer either. I do this weekly with my eclectus who loves a shower and will scream at me if the shower isnt on when he is in the bathroom lol Love it when a wild bird gets its anger back, always a good sign it will survive.
You can use the heat on the blow dryer. I used to bathe my white dove. She would shiver a little. I used the blow dryer on her. She loved it. The heat is good to stop the shivering and they dry off quicker.
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 As for the name change, they've said in another video that is the name of the new rescue and rehab center they're building! Very exciting! Also, I wish I could see your parrot enjoying the hair dryer, I'm sure it's cute!
You mentioned you use it at a distance. He can't do that because he's holding onto the bird at a very close range. Plus your parrot is a tamed bird but this red tail is wild and in shock. I was thinking the same but it turned out beautiful and was less stress on the bird.
@@anti-ethniccleansing465 Your Family Parrot is comfortable and not in shock or stressed. Martin has years of experience, if memory serves me since the age of 19. He has also had his hand severely damaged. Not an issue for you, Parrots are wonderful playful family members. You can try finding answers on the internet regarding low heat. Many blessings.
@@GowildlifeOrg I love watching your videos. I watch from North Florida and you have helped me be more aware of who these birds are. Thank you. Y'all are awesome.
I've had so many birds and small mammals drown in water troughs over the years that I finally got smart and started leaving 'escape routes/life line' for them. Either a stick/branch, a piece of bailing twine (tied to the outside) or a hose (not attached to the no-freeze faucet) works to allow the animal trapped in the trough to grab hold of something and eventually climb out. After I started doing that, no more drowned animals.
He is absolutely Beautiful. Man he didnt know that morning that he was going to have a nice trip to the Enoch Spa for full treatment. Let's hope he doesn't tell his friends. The both of you make the perfect team and were all so blessed for your unbelievable dedication, I truly have so much respect for you guys and for all your helpers. All your videos are so unique.
That Hawk didn't even try to bite Martin. Martin is so comfortable with them. This unspoken language can't be matched. That would have been a great picture.
My late grandfather used to have a similar problem with birds in his cattle troughs. According to Mom, he'd put blocks of wood to give them something to sit on. I wonder what would help for hawks.
Thank you, I just mentioned that. Not just birds but all smaller animals. I sub to some urban explorer channels and asked them also if they came across a water source. Old pond, swimming pool ect, to please find even a board to stick in somewhere to help animals. One guy was very happy for the advice and said he had not thought of it.
The bird knows he is being helped and appreciates it. The bird spread his wings to get certain areas taken care of. The bird is sitting there patiently.
Woha, when Martin dried that hawk, there was no fight in it, very very bad sign. Glad that this turned out to be a perfect rescue and release. 👍👍👍 My finch girly does also shake a little after her daily full bath but she also enjoys a full five to ten minutes sunbath at the window afterwards. When she is completely wet, she looks like a lump of brown and green sticks, her flyability then is ZERO an I always put her into her cage for a few minutes, for her to pre clean before taking the obligatory sunbath. ☺️☺️☺️
Earlier today I was watching one of the Flying-fox fruit bats of Australia doing what the Aussies call “bigwings,” as they spread out their wings to look as large and intimidating as possible. It was so awesome to see this beautiful red tailed hawk doing the same “big wings” in your video! I always learn so much from watching your videos! God bless you 2 forever more!
Another amazing rescue! It was so nice to see such a happy ending. The gentleman who released the hawk was so appreciative to have that opportunity. You could see how much it meant to him.
Another successful release back to nature! Good thing the rancher found him when he did and knew to call you guys. I've only been close to a red tail and Great horned owl in the wild, both times when walking my dog and I found them both to be beautiful but rather intimidating.
Today on Enoch Beauty Channel we're having a Spa Day! This little lady came in for a blow out and 2 coats of Red Tail Talon Polish 😂 But geez, she was not happy at all with the service...😂😂😂 Great job yous guys!
Such a gorgeous bird! 😍 Thanks for giving it a second chance at life: making baby Hawk's, keeping the rodent population in check, and decorating the sky with its beauty.
Years ago I was looking around our silos for damage after a bad storm and found a hawk too younger to fly. I took him home and raised him to the point it could fly. Opened the pen door and it flew off. It came back to feed for a few days and then came back less and less . It hung around the farm a long time after we stopped feeding it. It was a Sparrow hawk.
You may have missed an evening alone together but being part of this together is really meaningful. My dear your husband husband is a beautiful soul and I'm sure you are too or you would not be together and this is a beautiful thing to watch.
It is AMAZING how you can see his face LIGHT UP when the bird is healthy! THAT is absolutely amazing! AND one more thing I no longer look at road kill as "victims" I see they are needed for many birds of prey!
Doesn't the hair dryer cause them to be stressed even more because he can still see everything would it not be better for his head to be covered in his eyes the way using anything that you would cover and animals heads so that he doesn't stressed out before thing looks so so bad and Heather is a good thing but it's also very noisy so I don't know much about Hawk Red Tails are particularly my favorite and they are quite beautiful they are quite Brave looking and I think the work that you do with your wife is probably a godsend to these animals because otherwise I would have drowned and a farmer took a great risk to to pick him up out of the water because because you were so beautiful I'm watching till I see the end and how we until once again I thank you I live in Upstate New York and occasionally get to see her tail hawk so thank you again and God keep both of you and please always be careful
Love watching your videos. I have red-tailed hawks that nest near me in south central Texas. This year, I have also had Mississippi kites. They are beautiful birds. Saw the most amazing sight a few weeks ago. A swirling vortex of birds a couple of hundred feet in height. Probably 40 or more birds, some kites, some buzzards. I could barely make out the top ones, so not sure what they were. The entire mass just slowly slid off over the tree tops, still in the swirling vortex pattern.
Utah sure is pretty at sunset. Thank you guys, for saving our friends. Wish I could experience the thrill of the release. Bucket list #1. Everyone... Have a good one. Love from California 😎🤙
Hawk: get away from me human Martin: I love you too sweetie💖 Hawk: you love me yet you attacked me with that roaring red monster. So that's called love🤔
Thank you Martin, for letting this young man release this beautiful bird. You could see the marvel in his face as he freed her. Thank you for your service Maritn and Susan.
Such a blessing to watch you help that bird with your calming presence, it does makes a difference and a great joy to watch!!! We are precious in HIS sight and that not a sparrow goes down without HIM knowing!!!🥰😍🤩😘
What a lovely bird and great to see the release. Maybe put a hairdryer on your Amazon wish list so Susan doesn’t lose hers 😉. The ones for hairdressers come with longer cords. They also tend to have more temperatures to chose from for children(so a nice low one). There are also quieter ones so you will still be able to talk. Keep up the good work ❤️❤️
Mr. Tyner and wonderful Susan, you are truly doing God's work. Martin's love, dedication, and patience is unsurpassed. You made me cry a lot. So glad they were happy tears. I love you both so much.
Thank you so much for filming entirety of rescue and release of that beautiful hawk. Such compassion and care given to save that beauty. Thank the rancher that saved him or her from drowning and calling you. Good people do exist that care about the wild creatures in need. Wonderful to see.
amazing rescue and release of this beautiful hawk!! Thank u so much for helping her!!! and the Gentlemen who let her free, was so happy that he had this opportunity once in a lifetime!!! Wonderful!!!!
That was a wonderful memorable release and obviously I'm in a great deal to that young man and what looked to be his father Maybe another wonderful job thank you Martin and Susan and of course everyone else that helps
LOL. Martin opens the container and there's that waiting with the threatening wings up stance and the Halloween look in the eyes and even the feathers on the head are in the Freddy Kruger mode.
Oh my gosh, yet another awesome release. I have to say though the hawk was pretty focused on not letting you out of their sight Martin! Great job filming Susan and helping to explain along the way. The video raised so many questions like …it seems the feathers help to regulate temperature and obviously hawks are not built like a duck who can tolerate even going under water for a bit, so when drenched the feathers are not capable of keeping their body temp regulated. A hawks skin must be thin without it’s feathers. Great video. Love it. 👍🏽👍🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️❤️❤️
Poor soul she looked so freaked out. Thank you for being so confident, gentle and understanding with them. She's really beautiful. It's the most moving and touching thing ever to see them released. Brave bird made it and stopped to say thank you. Absolutely fantastic. Well done!
Could you tell me how Hawks keep themselves from getting drenched in bad weather and in the snow? And what about the Owl if it gets working if not fly either?
You just want to preen them ! I did parrot rescue and loved it. I had the privilege to rescue a sm young hauk from a river, dried him out w/ paper towels, then let him perch on a life vest on the john boat. He warmed and dried and flapped until he could fly about an hour. I felt the world in my heart!
Yay! I hope that the rancher was able to see the results of the rescue and that the hawk and a nice first breakfast after the hair dryer evening. Alison in NYC (we have hawks here but no eagles)
Our neighborhood in PA has seen 2 Red-Tailed Hawks make home in my backyard along a hedgerow into our woods....and man, they are some of the most majestic of the Raptors. Great video! Keep on helping those beautiful and important birds! :)
The 1st thing I noticed was the horse and dog following and watching… poor baby looked very stressed I’m so glad the rancher saw and saved him and called you ! I don’t know which is the best part. The RTH being dried, the way he looked at you “I’ll kill you” before his release or the release… beautiful! I must say I cringed with the power lines and when he landed on the pole… I’ve read many electrocution cases lately 😞. But I’m sure he’s doing great now. Thank you for saving this baby life ! As always
You guys are awesome! I genuinely love watching your content because, well, I love birds and your content is truly enjoyable to watch. You just look so passionate taking care of the hawk--it took my breath away. Thank you for saving the birbs!
I'm glad you mentioned NO HEAT on the hair dryer, good to know. Although if she is hypothermic, why not add mild heat? That puzzles me. I bought a dog hair dryer on Amazon for $100. It has lots of air, a higher volume than hair dryer, and two heat settings or no heat. It dries dog hair much faster and would probably blow all the lice off the birds too. This might work faster than the hair dryer in these cases. Small machine. Also very useful as a leaf blower, cage cleaner, etc. It has different nozzles.
Your wildlife rescue and rehabilitation works are very admirable, crucial, and needed for rescued animals( particularly birds of prey ) that have been somehow injured in their environments. And your channel serves vital purpose to inform and educate every viewers to be educated and know what to do when encountering such injured animals to know who to call to help those animals in need of human help, and what to do for them while waiting professionals to arrive. It also help those who loves wild birds and wishes to be a part of the rescue efforts to know how to help by donations to such organizations as yours or in their local wildlife rescues. ❤️So I pray to God for the 29 individuals that somehow saw it fit and gave this video thumbs down. I hope that He rescues your heart and change your heart & mind on the works these wonderful people He provided for these dear creatures of His!❤️ God bless the Stewardship Staff of this animal rescue organization! Bless you for saving this beautiful hawk!
We're glad the rancher called us out!
26:18 Checking in on the Wet Tail Hawk. The pun had me laugh out loud!
So glad he was doing well!
Eagle look calm in Martin 's arm when he dried him , eventhough it s a wild animal.
Not calm, tired and terrified.
@@GowildlifeOrg 👍
God bless you all your doing God's work
Thank you Shaun
Indeed
As wild as that bird is, he knows Martin Tyner is saving him with that hair dryer. Martin and Susan never cease to amaze me! ♥️💜💙💛🧡
Stress is always a major factor.
I thought the same , as eagle knew Martin tried to dry him and do no harm to him.
@@barbaracoss89 What the heck drugs are you on? You make no sense! Are you a CIA psyop?
@@agushobiotomotif5652 I handled a full grown eagle for a wildlife project as a volunteer. They are brilliant animals.
Such a treat to see in the wild!
Thank you, thank you for taking care of that precious gift from God. You are indeed a healer of angels.
Thank you for your interest and support
You are special people.

Utah sure is pretty at sunset. Thank you guys, for saving our friends. Wish I could experience the thrill of the release. Bucket list #1. Everyone... Have a good one. Love from California 😎🤙
Thanks David, glad you enjoyed
Have a good one. Back from California
Hawk: get away from me human
Martin: I love you too sweetie💖
Hawk: you love me yet you attacked me with that roaring red monster. So that's called love🤔
Stress is always a major factor
I love how it's all about the animal for Martin.
Thank you Martin, for letting this young man release this beautiful bird.
You could see the marvel in his face as he freed her.
Thank you for your service Maritn and Susan.
Gotta love the releases!
Well done all involved. What a sweet man who released the hawk.
We're glad the rancher called us out!
It is surprising how long it takes to be able to fly again.
Such a blessing to watch you help that bird with your calming presence, it does makes a difference and a great joy to watch!!! We are precious in HIS sight and that not a sparrow goes down without HIM knowing!!!🥰😍🤩😘
Thank you for your interest
What a lovely bird and great to see the release. Maybe put a hairdryer on your Amazon wish list so Susan doesn’t lose hers 😉. The ones for hairdressers come with longer cords. They also tend to have more temperatures to chose from for children(so a nice low one). There are also quieter ones so you will still be able to talk. Keep up the good work ❤️❤️
Glad you enjoyed. We will probably be adding irrigation items for the new property to our wishlist soon.
Thank you so much for helping another beautiful creature get back to the wild! God bless you for what you do!

Welp it's finally happening...Martin's feathers are starting to come in...

Great video! How lovely that those men were able to participate in the release. They will always remember that!
They were fun!
Mr. Tyner and wonderful Susan, you are truly doing God's work. Martin's love, dedication, and patience is unsurpassed. You made me cry a lot. So glad they were happy tears. I love you both so much.

Love the little feather goatee that the hawk gifted to Martin!
It's a look...
With the camera that close you can reeeeally see how long and sharp those talons are.
Long time viewer first comment Nothing but admiration for your care of these birds. Good luck with the new Rescue Centre x
Thanks for breaking your silence! Glad you are enjoying out videos.
Thank you so much for filming entirety of rescue and release of that beautiful hawk. Such compassion and care given to save that beauty. Thank the rancher that saved him or her from drowning and calling you. Good people do exist that care about the wild creatures in need. Wonderful to see.
Thanks Charlie, we're glad the rancher called

LOL. Martin opens the container and there's that waiting with the threatening wings up stance and the Halloween look in the eyes and even the feathers on the head are in the Freddy Kruger mode.
I confess that cracked me up. “FEELING BETTER NOW!”
Beautiful red tail hawk! Thankyou for saving him!💙
We're glad the rancher called!
I can imagine the flood of emotion he felt while releasing that magnificent creature!!!

Great to hear! Glad we didn't edit it down. Figured people could skim if they wanted.
Been subbed for a while now. But seeing an ordinary person get to make that release, makes a video really special.
Poor soul she looked so freaked out. Thank you for being so confident, gentle and understanding with them. She's really beautiful. It's the most moving and touching thing ever to see them released. Brave bird made it and stopped to say thank you. Absolutely fantastic. Well done!
Yep, very stressful...
Love watching your videos! You and your wife are amazing along with all the volunteers that help as well 🙏🏻
Nice to hear, thanks Lynne!

Being a former dog trainer I just love your temperment...
All about the critters!
Beautiful. Thank you for your hard work. Who said that farmers didn't care for nature. They are wrong.
We're glad they called us out.
Was never a fan of birds of prey until I started watching live eagle cams. This bird is beautiful.
Thank you for your time and allowing the gentleman to release it.
Thanks Janine! We're glad the rancher called us out
Yay! I hope that the rancher was able to see the results of the rescue and that the hawk and a nice first breakfast after the hair dryer evening. Alison in NYC (we have hawks here but no eagles)
We're glad he called us out!
“Wet tail hawk” underrated joke 😂
He wore it well
I love this man.. a man of god doing gods work.. love from Michigan
Thank you Todd, we appreciate your interest and kind words
I love the expression on the Hawks face as he is getting dried. He looks confused but also looks like he's enjoying it.
Very stressed
Our neighborhood in PA has seen 2 Red-Tailed Hawks make home in my backyard along a hedgerow into our woods....and man, they are some of the most majestic of the Raptors.
Great video! Keep on helping those beautiful and important birds! :)
Always a treat to see them in the wild!
❤️❤️❤️ People and stories like these fill my heart with the greatest joy there is. THANK YOU 🌹
Lot of generous people!
As always
We're glad he called too!
Thank you for doing the lords work. I would like to make a monetary donation to your efforts via check.

Couldn’t have said it better myself!
Poor thing, so frightened! Lucky she (maybe he) didn't get water in her lungs. So glad you could rescue and let her fly free and proud again! :)
We're very glad she fought to recover

Wow! Love you're style Martin.
Thanks Albert!
It’s just so funny how the hawks always look at him with their mouth open 😂😂
It doesn't get much better than that!
Agreed!
I hope that He rescues your heart and change your heart & mind on the works these wonderful people He provided for these dear creatures of His!❤️
God bless the Stewardship Staff of this animal rescue organization! The rest of us, the HUGE majority loves and appreciates your loving hearts to injured animals, dedicated works, and stewardship for God’s beloved creatures! 🦅 💯👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank You on behalf of all who supports your works and are subscribers!! 👍x 💯%
