@@persiancat1597 it subjective my dear it depends in what you believe. If you base it in their predatory records majority of the books shows the Phil eagle has more impressive prey takings than harpy eagle. You can even see phil eagle with a amost 8 meters fresh kill reticulated python. While harpy eagle doesnt have a record of killing anacondas. King cobras the largest venomous snake and philippine cobra the most poisonous specie of cobra id just a normal or ordinary prey for phil eagle. Except from maque monkeys which is more dangerous and large compare to sloth and red howler monkeys of south america us just a humble kill by the philippine eagle. Even the thick skin and aggressive monitor lizard that weights 10 kgs stand no chance. One mature male macaque monkey at appx over 9 kgs was killed and only carry by the phillippine eagle by just one leg. It happen and witnessed by many people in cagayan valley.
There were bells in small villages in the Philippines back then, when the bell rang, it means a Phil eagle was sighted. The bell means to get the kids inside bec there were cases of kids taken. Normally it hunts monkeys, small pigs, etc. Used to be called the Monkey-eating Eagle. Great in open skies but deadly in dense forests bec of maneuverability, largest wing surface area for raptors.
Golden eagle is more deadly than any other on the list. It is not only popular in mexico. But in Central Asia too. We nomadic Turks have been using them to hunt wolf for thousand years. No other eagle possess that type of bravery.
I've seen Harpy, Golden, Bald, and Stellar Sea Eagles here at the San Diego Zoo and they were all beautifully amazing. The largest and bulkiest was the Harpy but the Stellar was a little taller, I think. The female was close to 3 feet and the male was a little smaller. I haven't yet to see a Phil Eagle in my life. But my friends here from Davao confirmed that Phil adult female eagle grow up to 3 1/2 to 4 feet easy. I hope to see one of my National birds someday. Overall I love all these apex predator wherever in the world they came from.

By favorite eagle is the African Crowned Eagle. Had a unique experience with one while working at a zoo in Louisiana. Zoo's often trade or exchange animals for various reasons, we obtained a Crowned Eagle from Dallas Zoo. My cohort and I picked him up and were transporting him in a large cage in a van back to Monroe, La. The eagle escaped the cage and was flapping around while we're going down I-20. I crawled to the back of the van and wrapped a coat around the bird and placed him back in the cage and secured it. Wild ride!
Thank you for acknowleging our very own National Bird of Philippines considered as No. 1. Our monkey eating eagle as we call, its really rare bird specie and very amazing.
imagine being equipped with so many talents. Can fly, 360 degree vision, super good vision that can see under water while flying (most wtf skill), waterproof wings, fast, agile, strong. That's like more that enough to survive.
Crazy big wings. Lighter and weaker than an Imperial one, let's not mention a Golden one. Martial, Verreaux, Crowned and ofc Philippines and Madagascar Monkey eaters also waaay out of the league of the wedgie. However there is quite nothing like a wedge tail eagle in flight, they are crazy fast and have great manouverability.
If we are talking about strength only the Philippines one comes close to the real queen, the Harpy. Biggest claws, Biggest feet, Biggest head and strongest beak. Has the most pulling force to take heavy prey too. Even though she mostly eats monkeys. But able to kill anything she wants on the jungle, even cougars if she puts her mind to it. Only Jaguars and adult Capibaras are safe from her
@@lithgowlights859 All of them can do it, it's a territorial thing. Well except the sea eagles which are not really eagles. Not many paragliders in Africa for ex. The wedge tail is an impressive eagle, but it's a medium sized one with XXL size wings. All the ones mentioned on this video, plus the two Imperials and the Harpy have bigger bodies, weights and claws.
Well, I love all them, wonderful and awesome creatures, all my respect for them, God bless them and keep them safe. Thanks you for sharing such a awesome imfo 👍

However Wedgetailed Eagles are the only species in the world, which will attack Hangliders, Ultralight Aircraft, and Paragliders while defending their territory. Also the Wedgetailed Eagle has enough strength in the Talons to break a mans arm, even with a protective glove fitted.

You said that the African Crowned Eagle has massive claws on it's "hind legs". Does it have claws on it's front legs too? 🙂 I don't understand the order of presentation. The Philippines Eagle was rated #1, yet a few of the other eagles were both heavier and had greater wingspan. Always great to see these incredible creatures. Thanks for for the video!
I live in Scotland and I was lucky enough to see a pair of golden eagles soaring high above me for hours whilst fishing on loch awe .. I like to think it was my mum and dad looking down on me ..
I've lived up north in Northern Michigan for some time and we had bald eagles and Golden eagles everywhere. And what I've witnessed is they eat alot of road kill alot of deer hit by cars.
I've been in the avian field now for nearly 30yrs. And have worked "hands on" with everything from Warblers to Birds of Prey. And i must say that Martial Eagles are probably the most formidable raptors with Harpy's being a close second. One can clearly see from this video the prey they are capable of taking down. As an example a human toddler would be fair game for a Martial Eagle no doubt about it that's how strong they are. Not a bird to underestimate by ANY MEANS.
Maybe take into consideration the availability of these large preys for the other eagles. They can't hunt something that doesn't exist within their habitat.
I've also been in the avian field for a number of years and my personal favourites are the Harpy and Golden Eagles. But they're all impressive birds. My closest and longest interaction was with an osprey which was stunning,I watched the same one for weeks fishing very near where i lived and he was a passage migrant, He took a lot of carp with him lol.
I was once driving in Australia and a Wedge-tailed Eagle flew down in front of the car going in the same direction for about thirty seconds. It was flying about ten metres in front of me and its wingspan was noticeably greater than the width of the car; so somewhere around 2.5 metres. very impressive bird!
I've seen some normal sized wedge-tails but some massive wedge-tailed eagles as well. I don't want to say how big because they were too far outside the supposed size of the eagle. They were more like the size of a large condor. They made the the big red kangaroos they were feeding on look like little wallabies. I got to within 30 feet of one of them so my size estimate is accurate. They weren't really afraid of me but I was have a few considerations.
@@markthomas8766 I’d love to see some really big ones - lucky you! The largest I’ve ever seen were some Condors in Arizona and California. Truly awesome.
The sad part is these magnificent birds will be gone soon. Lack of early education program and over population, we are responsible for the demise of these birds.
In the Bible e is representing the only birds with all the god characteristic that's why he can flied more higher than a flight too and he has a view very strong he can see his prey even when he is flying in the sky and the prey is on the earth
The video creator needs an atomic wedgey for leaving out the wedge-tailed eagle from Australia. This eagle is so powerful I saw it lift up a grey kangaroo in one talon and a wombat in the other!! It looked at me as it was flying off to say "Your next buddy!" True story.
I agree with you and it doesn't compare to that bird. It was an ok video, I had issues with the first eagle chasing a coyote that was not indigenous to it's habitat which was stupid. Don't take a person's pet bird from Africa or wherever and say it hunts coyotes, really stupid move there.
Agreed, I personally saw a Wedgie drop out of a tree in front of our truck (we were driving) and flap like crazy to get aloft and his wingspan was as wide as the truck (about 2/2.5 mtr)
Birds of prey and prey are very noble and exceptional creatures. My admiration for them dates back to when I was 10-12 years old when I secretly tore their pictures from reading rooms from colorful encyclopedias. They are really very thought provoking...
Mine is the Bald Eagle. But I'm from the U.S., so of course I'm prejudiced. It is our national symbol, so I don't care if it is not the biggest, fastest, or strongest. I've watched a number of times along rivers as they've hunted, and am always amazed at how majestic one appears as it flies over the water then swoops down and makes a strike. But let's face it - ALL eagles are noble predators who have a dignity and power about them that makes each species so appealing. Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, Steller Sea Eagle, and all the rest - each is an excellent choice in the world of raptors.
This doesnt apply to what you wrote but it reminded me of the chuckle I always get from a bit at overly patriotic americans when they mention the bald eagle. The quote from Benjamin Franklin always comes to mind. "Bald Eagle...is a Bird of bad moral character. He does not get his Living honestly…[he] is too lazy to fish for himself.”
@@n0npareiL You are quite correct. When the Founding Fathers were deciding on our national symbol, Franklin suggested the turkey, claiming it was a noble bird, source of sustenance for our ancestors who single-handed could send an entire regiment of British soldiers running in retreat. Fortunately, cooler heads prevailed. Which is good, because I just can't picture the turkey being displayed on all the official government documents, money, and behind the president whenever he makes a state-of-the-union address.

The heaviest female Harpy eagle recorded weighed around 13kg, the heaviest eagle ever recoded. But we should also look into weight averages. As a single sex bird (no pun intended) the female harpy eagle would indeed be the largest eagle in the world. However, males tend to be much smaller than the females; enter the Stellar sea eagle which have a much more relative size difference between male and female compared to all their tropical cousins. The Phillipine eagle is the longest eagle in the world. The Crowned eagle is considered the most powerful for it's size, while not surprisingly the Golden eagle is the most wide spread. Nicely done. Did you hear about the Stellar eagle that is “lost” on the east coast of US ?

There's a Pokémon that was based from The Philippine Eagle🦅

For the great majority of Air Forces around the world the common symbol they use is the eagle 🦅.
Interesting video.

The Golden Eagle is hands down the most majestic and beautiful in my opinion.
I love Philippines eagle, so beautiful and amazing!!
I love all the eagles but my favourites are black eagle and plillipine eagle! The eagles are the strongest predators!!! 😊
Hmmm, what about the Australian Wedged Tailed Eagle, I have personally seen a wedge tail of over 2 metres in wing span...do toy research !!!!!
We had the Haast Eagle, related to Aussie Harper's Eagle I think. Could carry moa and humans. They lost their Moa food source and became extinct.

My respect to filipin but harpy eagle has stronger physic and is the most powerful eagle.
Thanks for this amazing video as a Native American I would love a feather from each of these birds.
Golden Eagle possesses sheer power and bravery
we have similar perspective. GOLDEN EAGLE IS THE RUN FROM ME KINDA EAGLE 😎
They're defiant
Golden eagle is more deadly than any other on the list. It is not only popular in mexico. But in Central Asia too. We nomadic Turks have been using them to hunt wolf for thousand years. No other eagle possess that type of bravery.

Hello
Wow..! Philippine eagle is the largest and strongest. Watching here from the Philippines.
Stelar sea eagle is larger
The Harpy Eagle is a tough raptor.. I'm also partial to the Bald Eagle since I live in USA

Hello how are you Brenda
Haven’t you heard about the mdrtp?
OMG they're all so beautiful and majestic BUT I do have a favorite & that's the magnificent Harpy Eagle 💖 loved that bird the first time I laid eyes on them, absolutely beautiful bird. 👍🙏
Wild ride!
Escaped the cage?
Who's mistake was that?
Glad you didn't get hurt. @2:36 is that a deer hiding from the African Crowned Eagle in the water?

All these Eagles are great and beautiful birds of nature...
i'm from Philippines, so obviously i will choose philippine eagle
imagine being equipped with so many talents. Can fly, 360 degree vision, super good vision that can see under water while flying (most wtf skill), waterproof wings, fast, agile, strong. That's like more that enough to survive.
Apex predator, yeah
and also brain capable of processing all that information in seconds
Golden eagle it is 🫶🏻 amazing video n great info👍👍
no mention of the Australian wedge tail eagle. One of the largest in the world
Crazy big wings.
Only Jaguars and adult Capibaras are safe from her
When they did the survey it was drunk on lager
Dont see too many of the other eagles attacking hang gliders or parachutists, unlike our little beast.
All of them are my favourites. Beautiful creations by our God. Magnificent stuff!!
PHILIPPINE EAGLE🇵🇭 & GOLDEN EAGLE 🦅🇺🇸

I liked all these huge and powerful eagles but hunting for prey part of these birds was little disturbing , anyhow i got it survival of the fittest .
This is a great video . Which one is known as the toughest, most powerful and most dangerous out of them all?
african crowned eagle its the only eagle on earth that has killed a human

Bald Eagle is my favorite they are beautiful to see in the wild.
eagles are the most dominating predator, they have the ability to choose the battle and strong enough to finish the battle in a blink of an eye
Thank you i am from philippines our national eagle is the largest eagle
Eagles are brave and strong birds and we have them here in Kenya and should protect
The New Zealand Haasts eagle (Pouakai) was the biggest eagle and most dangerous in the world but it's now extinct. Now thats one huge man-eating bird.
@Ben Sojo No mention of the Australian Wedgetailed Eagle which can attack Prey as large as Kangaroos, and it is one of the few Eagle species which will attack drones.
However Wedgetailed Eagles are the only species in the world, which will attack Hangliders, Ultralight Aircraft, and Paragliders while defending their territory.
Also the Wedgetailed Eagle has enough strength in the Talons to break a mans arm, even with a protective glove fitted.
I was coming to point out the same thing.

crowned eagles are ruthless hunters
equipped with very long claws on EACH HIND LEG..(LOLOLOL) it is not surprising that they can kill animals more than four times their size. I guess not, an eagle with four legs SHOULD be able to kill animals four times their size. LOL
Yep thanks mate I wonder why our wedged tailed eagle was left out. I've seen them in their natural environment and they are truly majestic.😢
You said that the African Crowned Eagle has massive claws on it's "hind legs".
Does it have claws on it's front legs too? 🙂
I don't understand the order of presentation.
I see bald eagles every so often. Love those birds. If you're ever up close to them, you can see the intelligence in their eyes.
You said toddler as if they damn kid is strong asf at that age.
Maybe take into consideration the availability of these large preys for the other eagles. They can't hunt something that doesn't exist within their habitat.
Martial Eagles and Crowned Eagles can make short work of Honey Badgers too.
Bro if a human toddler is fair game then it ain't all that. The human toddler should be fodder.
Love love the Philippine Eagle and the Golden Eagle is a favorite also.
Omg! The Philippine Eagle is included in this video! Thanks!🇵🇭
Save birds ☺️
Eagles are my favourite birds 😂
I've seen some normal sized wedge-tails but some massive wedge-tailed eagles as well. I don't want to say how big because they were too far outside the supposed size of the eagle. They were more like the size of a large condor. They made the the big red kangaroos they were feeding on look like little wallabies. I got to within 30 feet of one of them so my size estimate is accurate. They weren't really afraid of me but I was have a few considerations.
@@markthomas8766 I’d love to see some really big ones - lucky you! The largest I’ve ever seen were some Condors in Arizona and California. Truly awesome.
oh really,, search the Haasts eagle, the largest eagle of All time

The sad part is these magnificent birds will be gone soon. Lack of early education program and over population, we are responsible for the demise of these birds.
In the Bible e is representing the only birds with all the god characteristic that's why he can flied more higher than a flight too and he has a view very strong he can see his prey even when he is flying in the sky and the prey is on the earth
@@sfv6 there is a breeding program in progress now the local people are being educated and there is great hopes for its success
I like the bald eagle the most, It seems so much more noble tan the others
The Argentavis' true ancestor then?
Oh please
A nice list of predator birds but my vote goes to the huge majestic Harpy Eagle, I think it dominates in big pretty catching.
She's the queen 👑 above all the kings 🦅
Birds of prey and prey are very noble and exceptional creatures. My admiration for them dates back to when I was 10-12 years old when I secretly tore their pictures from reading rooms from colorful encyclopedias. They are really very thought provoking...
I freaking love them too! They emit such razor sharp energy!
Coming from Asia, I’m for the Philippine eagle.
ruclips.net/video/VcBJ85zzy60/видео.html
I like all of them. Didn't know that they hunted big game like coyote, wolves and goats. That makes the very strong and well built!
Weird thing is that they don't stand much of a chance against a chicken!
Never knew that until I saw the video. A chicken will man handle an eagle.
Well the sure as hell don't hunt coyotes in Africa.
I love eagles very much, they are very strong and majestic birds
Birds are great and have the sharpest eyesight.
YES! THE PHILIPPINE EAGLE IS THE PRIDE OF OUR COUNTRY.
My favorite also for the same reasons.
Bald has a unique color tone, but that eagle from asian and a magnificent lion mame.
@@cjmarshall0221 quite right the turkey is usually the one speaking at the podium
