On January 20th, Martin was called about an eagle unable to fly out in farm lands. With some assistance, the eagle was located trapped up against a fence. Martin caught the juvenile Bald Eagle and brought him back to the rescue center. An examination revealed two black marks from an electric current, one in the wing and one in the foot. Not knowing the extent of damage, Martin put the eagle in a chamber to continue to observe him. Over time, the Bald Eagle recovered and on March 5th, was released back into the wild! Seeing this kind of result is always so heartwarming. Can't express enough my love and appreciation for all the work that Martin and Susan do for these critters. I am fortunate to get to see a bald and a golden up close quite often. Although these birds are well accustomed to humans and show no aggression towards me even though I'm just outside of arms reach, I can still feel the power that they possess in their bodies and I'm always amazed at how well Martin is able to work with the wild ones whose instincts to fight are strong. Dear Martin and Susan. After I hear the news and feel sad about current events, I love to watch your videos and I have learned a lot about eagles, hawks, owls and roadrunners. Above all, I relate to the birds that are badly hurt or starved and need your help, and your voice is very soothing. That is more than enough for me. I wish I could contribute to your cause, but since I cannot send money at the moment, I will have to wait. I also like to tell you that I am Venezuelan and if I were able to do so, I would first choose to send money to an organization that helps children with malnourishment in Venezuela. Love to you and to your birds. Rosix Emilia.
Thank you Rosix, we appreciate your interest and it's good to hear you are enjoying our channel. You help the critters just by watching and sharing these videos.
@Tamara B Martin did better. I was in fact a bank teller and did not spot a counterfeit $100 bill. I gave a legitimate $1 silver bill to a cashier and she did not know what it was. It was an OLD BILL where upon presentation the person receiving it was supposed to give the person presenting it one ounce of silver. Despite many people working many years and/or having professional licenses some do a better job than others. I was at a street fair and there was a ferret that four vets wanted to put to sleep because it had a parasite. One young, new vet, gave it a try and saved the ferret's life.
In my own very little way I raised a wood pigeon chick that had fallen out of the nest and injured its leg. I had to research what they ate, how to teach him to fly , (I think it was a boy). And then one day his time had come to leave , he sat in a garden tree for some time and wouldn’t come to me so he was ready to go his own way. I did shed a tear but it was a lovely feeling that he had survived and was off into his wild space where he belonged. I thanked my father for raising me and my sister to love the wild animals and birds and flowers. It is a gift that will last me to the end and it has given me such happiness across the years. So I just love these videos. Thank you very much and wish the Wildlife Trust much success. 🇬🇧
I live in Washington state, western wa.as a kid it was so uncommon to see bald eagles.now,I see them all over the place!it's so exciting to see so many of them these days!

I do also love Nick Zentner, the most amazing geology teacher, and Takis Shelter, where he rescues dogs and cats for adoption, but NO CAGES. A quick plug there lol. Thank you for all you do. Just marvelous moment when you release an eagle ! Very emotional, full of hope for those magnificent raptors, with their grand flight ! Greetings from Switzerland
Why is he so calm? Your temperament such a healing energy for most people it's very hard to befriend birds 😍 🌹 probably normal to have tears when you release a bird 🕊️🐦 back after so much effort to bring them back to health ♥️
People anthropomorphize too much. So tired of hearing "OMG he knew he was being rescued and didn't want to hurt anybody, so beautiful". The eagle was exhausted and near death. Fear and anger from a captive wild animal is a positive sign: they're not supposed to be cuddly beanie babies.
I was so amazed at how that Eagle just totally relaxed in your arms. Martin, you definitely have a gift given to you by God to help these beautiful birds.❤❤❤❤
So this bird was found pretty early on after injury! Great job rancher nelson for keeping an eye on your land, it sure helped this bird. I'm sure coyotes are in the area so much time on the ground would of been detrimental for this young eagle, I believe. God bless you Nelson, may the lord bless you with abundance.
Thanks for all you two do! And a big thumbs up to the young man who called and made sure this beautiful bird would find his way to the Healer of Angels.
It really shows all your years of doing this as it is all so natural everything you do.Its always a pleasure to see one of your rescues.Thank you for returning another Beautiful eagle to freedom.
Yes I watch a seal rescue where they rescue them by cutting entanglements from around their neck that keep them from breathing and then they let him go and within 10 to 20 minutes it's done and I've seen other seal rescues where six people come in in orange suits and they tranquilize the animal and make it a huge production when all it needed to be was captured sit on them cut the string and let him go instead they traumatized The Animals by capturing caging when it's not necessary big production. Which is far more traumatic than the piece of string choking them to death that could be simply cut with scissors. Kiss keep it simple stupid. Anyway that's just my opinion thank God for people like you who care for animals
He really looked the part after healing up. Quite the regal head. Interesting about the beak being larger in sea eagles. A week or so ago, I looked up and thought a Turkey Vulture flew low at me. To my shock it was a Bald Eagle. Flew right over my head in our side yard in Central Georgia. Quite a thrill. Love watching your work.
Didn't realize that info about electrocutions in eagles, that sounds just horrific. Glad you were able to release that little guy back out to the wild. Keep up the great work you and Susan are doing!
Just watched a video of an eagle you found by the road side in a bad way. He sadly died a day or so later. I know extremely little about birds and have never felt much about them but.....That beautiful creature seemed to have so much character in its face. It really, really moved me. We live out in the sticks here in England and know that from this day forward I will be paying far more attention to the many birds in our fields and trees. Thank you very much.
16:16 The wide eyes and the timing of that blink just after Martin said dead tissue inside the body, makes it look like the eagle comprehends just how much trouble he's in.
GREAT VIDEO ! Very nice to see a bird survive an electrocution! Very beautiful photography of that location too ! You are a beautiful human being to care for eagles like this! Stay safe !
He didn't even try to peck you once; it's like he knew you were trying to help him. So precious. We live below an eagle nest in our tall evergreen tree in Oregon overlooking the mouth of the Columbia River where they raise nest after nest of eaglets every few years. I love to hear them calling out to one another. I had to square off with one on my deck once who was sizing up my mini dachshund for dinner. As he perched on my deck railing, I told my dog to go in the house and I spoke to the bald eagle telling him he could not eat my dog and he needed to go away. He seemed to know what I said. I was respectful but firm. He flew away and never bothered my dog again. Animals are smarter than we think. Nice that you helped that eagle. Without your help, he wouldn't have lived long having to hop around to get food.
Capivity is very stressful. There is always the risk of injury. The eagle was weak and stressed and Martin has over 50 years of experience in proper handling.
@@GowildlifeOrg Don't worry. If I see one injured I will call the local eagle sanctuary instead of trying to help them myself. I "won't try this at home'. The animals are lucky to have such a caring person to heal them. God bless you.
It is so amazing to be able to see his wing spread out. I wish we could know what is thinking when you’re examining it. Never gets old to see them released.
Amazing video! That eagle is certainly a lucky one. My boss was flying his harris a few years back, poor thing flew right into an electric wire and fell to the ground. Boss was terrified, picked up the hawk and he ended up being absolutely fine. He’s been a bit grumpier since then but he’s still alive today years later!
It's nice to see this one go home! My dad was a Forester for the PA DCNR for 40 years and passed away about 2 weeks before you released this Eagle. I'm always glad to see you release these birds back to the wild. It also reminds me of my dad and the time I spent with him in the woods watching these birds in PA!
Just discovered this channel. I absolutely love the way he treats these birds. I watched the video of the eagle found on the side of the road before this one and it broke my heart that it passed. I already adore you two! It's good to see people taking care of raptors as well as you do. Keep up the amazing work!
When he puts the hood on them it looks like a little bird bonnet 😂 very cute. Beautiful majestic animals!!! You are making such a difference!!! Keep up the good work!
The electrocution that happened to this bald eagle brought up one of the common problems with electrocution to animals and people. The problem is there may appear on the outside just a couple of small burn marks where the electricity entered and exited the body, but there are internal burn injuries along the path of the electrical current through the body. Internally there can be burned muscles, burned nerves and burned blood vessels, and the burned flesh starts to die and gangrene can set in. With this bald eagle the internal injuries must have been minor.
God bless you Martin. You are a true servant of God. Thank you for educating us all through you wonderful videos. Stay healthy and safe. I know of no one who could replace you, for you have the compassion of an angel.✝️🙏🏻❤💫✝️🙏🏻❤💫✝️🙏🏻❤💫✝️🙏🏻❤💫🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅

We're glad he recovered! Eagles are always a treat to see in the wild!
Thank you for saving this beautiful eagle, and for the work you and Susan do. Just magnificent! Kim in New Zealand
We hope this eagle is doing well back in the wild!
Thank you for saving all the animals. Our kids will have them to see as they grow up.
I’m in love with your channel. There are no words for how awesome you and Sue are for doing this great work for these magnificent creatures.
Thank you Jennifer, that is great to hear! Glad you are enjoying our videos!
Didn't realize that info about electrocutions in eagles, that sounds just horrific. Glad you were able to release that little guy back out to the wild. Keep up the great work you and Susan are doing!
We hope he's doing well back in the wild
Just watched a video of an eagle you found by the road side in a bad way. He sadly died a day or so later. I know extremely little about birds and have never felt much about them but.....That beautiful creature seemed to have so much character in its face. It really, really moved me. We live out in the sticks here in England and know that from this day forward I will be paying far more attention to the many birds in our fields and trees. Thank you very much.
I love all types of birds, the eagles 🦅 are gorgeous. Thank you, God, for people like that group who rescues the ones in danger. 🙏🏼
We love them too!
Thank you for explaining things so well, I have never seen an eagle close before and the size is huge!
Glad you enjoyed. Education is very important to us.
Debbie here,,,THANK YOU....
Awesome questions from the guy who found the eagle! Great rescue!
Agreed!
16:16 The wide eyes and the timing of that blink just after Martin said dead tissue inside the body, makes it look like the eagle comprehends just how much trouble he's in.
Lots of stress...
GREAT VIDEO ! Very nice to see a bird survive an electrocution! Very beautiful photography of that location too ! You are a beautiful human being to care for eagles like this! Stay safe !
Thank you for your interest
Great! I hope he learned a lesson about electric poles! Thanks Martin & Susan for your loving work for these majestic birds ❤️
Hi Marty, we hope so too!
I like how eagles give up resisting the moment you hold their raptor claws.
They are always dangerous!
He's so patient.. Just listening and observing..❤️
Sometimes it is all about time.
Martin and Susan I am so happy you were able to get this beautiful eagle back to the wild. Thank you.
Thanks Russell! Releases are the best part!
Thank you Martin and Susan!
Thanks for your interest!
I was surprised how much Martin knew about electricutions, finding a small hole and infections occurring three weeks later.
He's been working with critters over 50 years!
Another beautiful video from Mr. Martin & his wife!
Glad you enjoyed!
Scary
Wow hope he's okay ,and just so beautiful.i love love my eagles.
Back in the wild!
Eternal Thank you Illustrious gentleman!! Big hug!! Lima Capital Greets you from the Heart

A magnificent bird....back where it belongs. Thanks for giving him a second chance.
Thanks Pauline, we're glad we were called!
So wonderful when you can have a happy ending. Be safe little guy and stay away from those wires!
We hope so too!
I love all the kind souls present here 💖
It's nice to see this one go home! My dad was a Forester for the PA DCNR for 40 years and passed away about 2 weeks before you released this Eagle. I'm always glad to see you release these birds back to the wild. It also reminds me of my dad and the time I spent with him in the woods watching these birds in PA!
We're sorry for your loss.
Just discovered this channel. I absolutely love the way he treats these birds. I watched the video of the eagle found on the side of the road before this one and it broke my heart that it passed. I already adore you two! It's good to see people taking care of raptors as well as you do. Keep up the amazing work!

We're very grateful for so much support and kindness
Martin you are an earth angel! A blessing to this world. 💙
Thank you SJ, a whole lot of people help us help critters!
Thank-you Nelson. All of us in the Tyner gang thanks you. The Eagle thanks you, too. You're top shelf young man!
Thank you for your support!
We are all grateful for your intervention and thrilled with the positive outcome! Thank you. ☺️
