I can't remember the exact chapter numbers, but if I had to say, it would be difficult to choose between 3. First, the chapter showing Agni talking with Doma on the lake about incorrect education. Second, the silent chapter showing Agni's revenge against Doma. Third, the chapter that shows Sun's interaction with Agni, obsessed with the religion he created and unable to look at the reality in front of him. There are so many interesting character moments, but those stood out to me the most I'd say.

Excellent picks👌I adore the first chapter you mentioned because of how it opens Agni’s eyes to the complexity of the world, and it also gives a lot of context to Doma’s character that Agni is basically turning into, which basically happens in the second chapter you listed. Product of such a world is also someone like Sun, although he himself surely did join the process of crafting lies and manipulating people, but then reality hits him, it seemed the more he grew up the more he blinded himself, hiding in an invented religion, the one HE invented

I believe my favorite one has to be when Agni, as San, went to the cinema, before the ending. It was the cathartic realization that this didn't make any sense as a story, and that was exactly the point. Fujimoto crafted a world where a character looks at everything without context, he doesn't know what he's seeing. Even then, he clenches his fist.

It’s chapter 81 if I’m not mistaken. That’s without a doubt one of the most powerful scenes in the story. As you said, Agni is not sure what he’s seeing, still he sits all the way through the movie and then clenches his fist because something hidden deep down moved him, even though nothing makes sense.
What I’m thinking right now is that Agni may as well be us in this scene, the audience. We too saw all those events happen and make no sense from an outsider’s POV, and now Agni is the one going through them, with even less context.
But everyone can feel something anyway from this mess

    Penis.
Now that I get your attention, I remember Fujimoto wanted to draw this scene with more snow effects, but couldn't due to time constrain. Still I think it turns out well. The quieter sky sells the frozen time well.
My favorites were probably the opening chapters as they were insane. The sheer shock values kickstart the manga well. It's a straightforward punch to set the tone right for the rest to come.

We’re back to being 12 years old 😭 but you have my attention now. 🤣
That’s an interesting fact, so originally the scene wasn’t intended to be like this! Oh the initial chapters are amazing too, i especially like the first one for obvious reasons and I think the number 8 or 9? where Doma appears and wrecks Agni, then at the end there is Togata starting the film lol
I’m also thinking about yet another chapter that shows Sun in the undergrounds after he gets his legs cut off, and he’s surrounded by all the other Blessed being exploited, but he still has fire lighting up his eyes…
