🐬 getting some serious decision fatigue when considering my options - tried out the iPad 10 and air at Costco side by side and the 10 seemed brighter 🤔 am I crazy?
I'm not a student; I’m actually a COO at a digital marketing company in LATAM. I’ve found this iPad to be incredibly useful for project and product management, meetings, regular office tasks, and even some gaming! Don’t feel discouraged when some RUclipsrs say things like, 'If you’re a student…' as if you’d need an iPad Pro for any other purpose. While the Pro might be ideal for media professionals or those with very specific needs, this iPad has been more than enough for my diverse tasks. It’s been a fantastic tool for me!
I’m happy to read this. I’m investing in the iPad Air m2 myself and feel excited for when it gets here. So I can have a virtual assistant in some form lol
The air is such an underrated iPad! And I agree although I'm a 120hz snob, when I use a tablet I don't scroll nearly as much as I do on a phone and it's just not as important for this form factor! 🐬
I love my brand new iPad Air M2 13”. I wanted the 11” but since I hand down my iPads to my hubby, he insisted on the 13”! I also got the 256 gb. I’ve had ipad pros and my 6 year old pro compared, I have no complaints with the M2 Air!
@@sunnycharacteris there any battery issues? Like how strong its battery compared to what apple promised '10 hours battery life'. Though I read alot of comments saying that its less than 7 hours.
@ It’s all subjective. And it wholly depends on how people use their tablet. I use mine all day, from watching RUclips, messaging and an occasional game. I still have around 40% left when I go to bed.
Does your iPad M2 air also gets warm/very warm during everyday usage ? Everyone with the new air M2 especially 13 inch experience this and apple says that is completely normal and every electronic would always be warm during extensive usage. And I think apple also said it is because the M2 on the air works so much that’s why
Just get a prior or even prior iPad pro instead of Air anytime of the day with the only exception being you need the new Air for Pencil Pro. Price is similar
It is faster than the last one. Same tech. Nothing changes. Could buy a 5yr old iPad and not even notice the difference if you dont game and video edit.
First time viewer here. Good stuff! Loved the “ran out of ink” explanation for the washed out colors on the cases. 😂 Finally a 13” iPad that doesn’t crush the bank. My only wish is that it used the new Magic Keyboard. I need to buy one anyway since I’m coming from an 11” M1 air, so a better one would make the crazy cost a little easier to swallow. One thing I’ve noticed that I haven’t seen in any reviews is that the pencil magnets seem much stronger. Probably because there are two now that straddle the camera. And it’s about time they put that camera in the right place.
According to Mactracker, the 13" Air has a 36.59 watt/hour battery and the 11" Air has a 28.93 watt/hour battery. But I agree that my M2 13" doesn't seem to run as long as my 11" M1 5th generation Air with 28.6 watt/hours. But that's just from memory, the only data I have is from Apple and Apple says they all run 10 hours. A bigger battery would make it run a little longer ... and weigh a little more.
I just got the pro and my dad now has the 13” air for an early Father’s Day gift (he’s 75 and wanted to have a bigger on screen keyboard when he has to type anything 🤷🏻♀️). The screen is great and it just seems so much like mine I really started to wonder. However, I’m a visual artist and animator so I figured I would benefit from the differences. I’ll be using it mostly with my sketchboard pro and apple pencil but you are definitely tempting me with the Magic Keyboard. Maybe this is the time I will make that leap. And this time I went with the magnetic “paper type” screen protector instead to see if I liked it and so far I’m pleased. There always seem to be subtle differences in the paper/matte screen protectors but my last one was applied day one and never had to replace-not sure why I don’t go through them as often as many others but I’m interested to see if I enjoy having the ability to remove for impactful viewing. 🐬
I traded my M1 12.9” WiFi only iPad Pro for the 11” M2 cellular iPad Air. I needed cellular and gps and this is a good move. I do miss the better display, but it’s not too much of a downgrade.
@@RjeyTech Literally for GPS. Not often, but if you have cellular only and try to use Apple Maps or Google Maps, you don’t get specific, updated directions or arrival times because there’s no GPS in the iPad like the cellular models or phones.

Traded 12.9 2022 pro for air 13 m2 and I adore it! I don’t do much but digital plan and play so it’s absolutely wonderful! I actually went just wifi and 528gb, it’s perfect to me
Yeah it’s not my use case. I edit a lot of video and photo on the iPad. Especially with video the 120hz while editing with high fps video is a big plus. I also scroll a lot horizontally. I guess that with a very basic means of use the air is more than fine. Heck, go for the most cheapest version. The air with the M2 is quite the powerhouse still.
The only reason i won't go with it it's because it only has a 60hz panel which is really bad - once you go 120hz, you can't go back... when i look to a 60hz screen while scrolling its like im about to have a seizure....
🐬good review! Thinking between iPad 10th gen and iPad Air m2 because of budget constraints. The pro is out of my options. Your review of the iPad Air gave me the push to make it my choice :) 🐬
i mean i'm not gonna use my ipad for pictures so 128gb should be enough. my iphone has about 85gb of photos itself even tho i rarely click selfies, it just gets filled somehow.
I tried both of them and ended up going with the 11 inch iPad pro, because at the time of purchase the iPad Pro M4 11 inch is only $200 more. And my time with the iPad Air M2 11 inch not only did the screen for my liking completely suck but also the only 60hz display was making me nauseous. Other than that the iPad Air is amazing. The only reason I chose the iPad Pro was the promotion 120 hz display. For example, I was using my phone 10 times more than I was the iPad Air due to nausea of the terrible screen
Sorry, forgot to mention I like to stay awake super late at night, and when I go downstairs in the dark, I always find myself using the iPad pros flashlight while I have my phone in my room
I've already got a oneplus pad which is awesome but but everything else i have is Apple. I was thinking about getting a new ipad to complete my Apple lineup but am so confused what to go for. Lots of reviewers say just get the regular Ipad 10th gen which here in the UK is Currently only £349. Shall i get that or spend a bit more and get the new 11 icnch air? I wouldn't be interested in the new Pro models as they are way too expensive for my needs.
I have the 10th gen and it’s a great device, however, I am considering giving this one to my children and getting the new air m2 because of Apple intelligence coming later this year.
@@Rinnara21 I finally bit the bullet and bought the new 13 inch iPad M2 in starlight. It's a nice bit of kit with a huge screen and I'll keep it but being honest my OnePlus pad is better. The OnePlus pad seems to have a better display and it definitely has better speakers with quad speakers. It also has 144hz motion compared to 60 with the air. It also costs half the price of the iPad. Having said that the iPad is good but if I was you I'd buy a really good refurbished iPad Pro with the M1 chip instead of this Air. You'd probably get one for the same money as the new air and you'll get a much better display, quad speakers and also this will get the Apple intelligence update as well later this year. By all accounts iPads with the M1 chip onwards will get the update but not all phones will strangely. I just bought a new iPhone 15 plus not long ago and annoyingly that will not get the Ai update. The 15 pro and Pro max will get it but no other iPhones. 👍
I agree with you with regard to pro motion . I’ve just received my 11 inch iPad Air and comparing it with my iPhone 14 Pro the difference is not that great. 60 hz on an iPad is not that noticeable
@@Okcoolll maaaan I’m not gonna lie, I caved 😂. I ended up with the iPad Pro 11 with same configuration. I love it. Do I need it? Nah but I wanted to treat myself 😆. Seriously, I think both are good but for me, the 11” is better as a tablet first, then a laptop alternative. I didn’t want the 13” because the way I’d use it (on a keyboard case 95% of the time) I’d might as well use my laptop. I already have a mba 15 and iPad mini 6, so the 11” fills the gap.
After my GCSEs I’m looking to buy an iPad Pro, and I’m not sure between getting the 13 inch or 11 inch, if I were to get the 11 inch I was wondering if it is worth also getting a monitor so I could use an external keyboard and mouse with the monitor and iPad while at home at my desk, but then I could just use the iPad when I’m at school for example. What do you think? Is there any point also getting a monitor, and should I go 11 inch or 13 inch?
Go with 13 inch because it will be more worth , and you don't have to buy external monitor because 13 inch is big size and 11 inch is only good if you watching movie or something 😁
@@RjeyTech I use my iPad Pro on my computer monitor with stage manger , any recommendations on how I can not only connect my iPad with my USB c but also get it to charge? It,won’t do both when connected to my monitor. Any link recommendations
Got the 11 inch Air yesterday. Only other iPad I’ve ever owned was the 9th generation iPad. This thing is pretty sweet.. I do wish it had 120 hz display and just left the OLED and everything else for the pro. I also think they could’ve got away with pricing it at $549. 120 hz at $549 and you would’ve had a revolutionary bang for buck product from apple. 🐬
is your battery performance like your 9th gen as I have the same case (9th gen which works very well and no heat issue but M2 Air battery drains very fast and playing any games heats it up to a point like holding is impossible.)
all the screens I use in my day to day life are oled, from my tv, to smartphone even laptop. So yeah you dont need to own the i pad pro to identify which is an oled display and which isn’t
I have the iPad Air 11” M2. It’s all you say it is, not worth the extra $$$ for a pro (IMO). I use it to stream content and some online service tools related to my line of work. My old Air 2 was more than capable, but a replacement battery was needed and not worth the cost. I do not agree with the screen protector at all. One small scratch on my Air 2 in ten years, without a screen protector. As to the apple keyboard ? Why ? I got a TypeCase keyboard. Can swivel it and well over half the cost of the one with the fruit on it. … WHERE THE F%$# IS THE DOLPHIN EMOJI !
I upgraded from an iPad Air 2 as well and also never used a screen protector on it with only 1 scratch. But I did have a case that when not using covered the screen. One valuable lesson I learned from my air 2 is to upgrade the storage … I had upgraded to 64 gig storage on my air 2 and that’s the only reason it was able to last me for 10 years. I only recently started to hit the storage limit so with that in mind I got the 256gig option on the M2 Air. I do wonder if I should have gone with 512, but 256 is X 4 storage my last iPad.
I almost couldn't hear you over that gorgeous beard. Just joking. I'm currently shopping for an ipad. Thanks for the informative video. Also, definitely keep the beard.

🐬good review! Thinking between iPad 10th gen and iPad Air m2 because of budget constraints. The pro is out of my options. Your review of the iPad Air gave me the push to make it my choice :) 🐬
Why? Umm price 🤔!
i mean i'm not gonna use my ipad for pictures so 128gb should be enough. my iphone has about 85gb of photos itself even tho i rarely click selfies, it just gets filled somehow.
Does your m2 ipad air have a battery draining issue???
and hating issues btw coz of the m2 chip ipad pro m2 literally still fine n much value
Nope
Awesome video as always🐬🐬
Thanks for the visit🐬🐬🐬
I’m an artist, I want the 13 inch air but if I go with the pro. It would be the 11 inch. Since I’m coming from the 10.5 inch pro
I have the same question
Excellent. Thank you.
I was deciding between the 11” 256gb cellular iPad M4 and the 13” iPad Air 512gb cellular and went with the air believe it or not lol.
What is better..? Ipad air 13 inch or ipad pro 13 inch? Which one should i get? Is there really a big difference between them?
@@Okcoolll maaaan I’m not gonna lie, I caved 😂. I ended up with the iPad Pro 11 with same configuration. I love it. Do I need it? Nah but I wanted to treat myself 😆. Seriously, I think both are good but for me, the 11” is better as a tablet first, then a laptop alternative. I didn’t want the 13” because the way I’d use it (on a keyboard case 95% of the time) I’d might as well use my laptop. I already have a mba 15 and iPad mini 6, so the 11” fills the gap.
Ipad air m2 or ipad pro m2?
The M2 iPad Pro still performs better than the Air. I recommend it
@@lanceforlife5166is there any specific reason why?
@@piyushchoudhary007 ok
Is there a good touchscreen monitor that is out that I can use with the AiR M2
Espresso display check it out
Paperlike screen protector will also destroy the tip of your apple pencil FYI
You can get new ones you know
New to channel love the content, do u put apple care plus on it?
Welcome! No I don’t, only get it for my phones
@@RjeyTech I use my iPad Pro on my computer monitor with stage manger , any recommendations on how I can not only connect my iPad with my USB c but also get it to charge? It,won’t do both when connected to my monitor. Any link recommendations

I love my 2024 11 Air

With respect the audio is to boomy
The 60hz display just kills it, cant go back to it
all the screens I use in my day to day life are oled, from my tv, to smartphone even laptop. So yeah you dont need to own the i pad pro to identify which is an oled display and which isn’t
I don’t understand the iPad. I use the 14Pro Max and I have a MacBook Air 💻. I can’t understand the need for an iPad 🤔
I personally use the iPad as a drawing device, to take notes for collage, as a second monitor, or as a larger media viewing device.
Not everyone loves Macbooks. For some people iPad is the best tablet on the planet for streaming Netflix, gaming or drawing
Dont need keyboard ang bigger form factor. Just need display :)
Can't stand 60hz so pro is what I would pick
It’s NOT 11inches!! Only 9.7 inches I measured it !!!! Please be aware
11 inches measured diagonally
It’s not, take out a tape measure! It’s not actually it’s 9.5 ! Measure it
🐬 I just can't help wanting that awesome display 😭 And in my iPhone, faceID is so convenient.. Did you try recalibrating your FaceID on iPad?
which is good M2 or Samsung's S10+
Thanks for the FaceTime review. 🐬
Any time!🐬🐬
I have the iPad Air 11” M2.
🐬 Nice video
Any iPad will deliver amazing experience within 3weeks 😅
It took Apple far too long to give the iPad Air a base 128 gb. storage limit and it should include pro motion given the (Canadian) price tag. 🐬
Here before 50k subs 😎
Almost there! 😎
I almost couldn't hear you over that gorgeous beard. Just joking. I'm currently shopping for an ipad. Thanks for the informative video. Also, definitely keep the beard.
Nice but I was focused on u throughout
