@@snag1508 to be fair they made it open source. So this was always going to happen. Just like how people made rips of Mutable instruments even before they closed up shop.
Great, easy to see what was going on, especially when trying to learn modular like me, at least I could see where the cables were going to, unlike some demos where it's just a close up of the module with cables going somewhere off screen. More videos like this would be fantastic. Cheers🎹
On one hand cheaper modules makes Eurorack as a hobby more accessible than ever. On the other the recently unveiled modules from Behringer show that they're blatantly trying to monopolize Eurorack by making clones of all the most popular modules at a significantly lower price. :/
Agreed. Literally uglier copies of existing modules in this case Xaoc Batumi, I understand cloning hardware that is not available anymore but I wouldnt buy this. I'd buy their modules if they innovated but if I wanted to save money instead of buying behringer Id buy a similar design from an Etsy store, at least that way you are supporting smaller business and not ripping them off.
@@BlaskVarns Ha! The overly dramatic people said this years ago when Behringer started doing eurorack. Still hasn't happened. I mean, Make Noise ripped off Buchla designs for years. You're not going to hear that in your bubble.
So this is a bit weird, but the indicator LEDs on my Four LFO are out of sync with what the LFO is doing. If I run a VCO into Four Play for instance, and use a Square wave from Four LFO to CV the VCA, the Four LFO light goes off when the signal is on, and goes on when the signal is off. What is going on???
THANKS Behringer for all of your great products. Now Behringer needs to start Creating Rackmount Units, like reverb, delay, equalizers, compressors, gates, digital and analog synthetic with all instrument sounds including drums etc... We need all of that to be created asap because people are starting to go back to an All Analog Studio Setup.. Peace Fam.. K.N. 2023
in synths you can do great things without big amount of money , but in preamps , compressors, equalizers etc the difference its pretty notable. If you compare some unit form warm audio to the originals you can feel what its the cheapest and without any characteristics of the original unit, just the color and the knobs. Also for your info behringer owns a lot of brands like : Aston Microphones , Midas, Tc Electronics or Klark Teknik and there probably you find some gear

I like it but I think you guys missed a trick, i.e. a one shot mode. Being able to use one or more of the four LFOs as a simple but very useful envelope would expand this modules' capabilities immensely.
