I feel very privileged every time our girl trills to me, nothing better than a bit of cat talk to make you feel valued. We have a crab soft toy gift delivery every night once she's sure everyone is in bed & if she falls asleep before then she'll bring him up before we wake the next day. She carries him yodelling the whole time with an almighty yell as she drops him in the bedroom!
@@poolnoodleninja8686 Well we've had some very much alive gifts from a lovely boy who lived with us for a few years before breaking our hearts getting run over. He used to bring us his gifts equally proudly then lose them in the house which meant long hunts by us to find & release them.
I used to think my cat didn't like me because she wouldn't do most of these but later on I realized that she just isn't the type to do everything kinda like some humans aren't the type to show affection by giving gifts, and physical touch, and words of affection all at the same time. She just shows love by mostly just being in the same room as me or following me lol XD
My cat is like that. It took two years of having her before she would sleep on me, but she is always in the same room and following me around, demanding attention.
Yup that’s how mine is. The only thing I’m confused about is why he doesn’t like to sleep with me anymore. He used to a few times a week when we first got him at two years old and now he never does. He sleeps in his cat tree in my room though. Maybe he just slept with me cause he was scared lol. But yea he also doesn’t like to be petted too much by anyone. He talks a lot though and definitely shows his love in other ways. He’s a little angel he’s never growled or hissed at any of us.
@@donmcron3334 you likely are still being slept on and don’t notice it sometimes I wake up with her on my back or stomach.. if not then u might be having nightmares or talking in your sleep

That’s a lot of cats....yet I mourn each and every one of them still. While it weighs heavily on the heart when they make that transition, please just try to find solace in knowing you provided and shared a loving life together. May you be comforted by your warm memories my friend. 😔🕊 😻 🦋🌻🌈😺 Queens NYC
I used to have a tortie that trilled quite a bit. I miss her. We have four cats now and only one trills. And he is mighty stingy with that sweet warble.
I’ve been a ‘dog person’ most of my life but after living with a roommate who had a cat that became very close with me I knew I needed my own cats. I have been very blessed to have adopted two very friendly and loving kittens for the last 8 months. One of them always sleeps with me. We talk throughout the day. Fun times playing and lots of cuddles, too.
@@digitaldritten TNR (trap neuter release) are programs where strays are, y'know, trapped, fixed, and released to control stray populations. They take a tiny bit of the tip of the ear to mark which cats have been fixed so they don't waste time trapping the same strays over and over again
My baby was a stray with a clipped ear. I didn't really adopt her though. One day, a few weeks after our cat Robin passed, she literally walked in. Like, I had the door proped open because we were moving some boxes to the basement (we have the old school outside basement entrance) and she just walked right in and decided to live here. We knew her a little bit because she lived in our woods and we would feed her on the deck but she wouldn't come near us. Then one day she just decided we belong to her.
A cat’s endorsement is honestly such a testament to your character. Any cat. They’re very opinionated and are born with an understanding of consent, unlike dogs who will love you if you give them food. Not that dogs are bad. But it’s much more difficult to get a cat to be affectionate with you.
Ugh, my cat used to do all of these. She passed away a year and four months ago. I don't think there's a day that goes by where I don't think about her. We only had 4 years together, she was so young. Nevertheless, despite the pain of losing her, I'm grateful I found her and that she found me. She made my heart so warm and full, and she certainly took a piece of it when she left the earth. She was the best. But what a beautiful thing it is to have such a strong connection with your pet like this!
My cat sleeps by my side. It's the cutest sign of love and trust ever. When he is close enough, I put my ear against his back and listen to his purr as my lullaby.
Anyone who says that cats are cold heartless creatures… does not or has not had the privilege of being a beloved hooman to these wonderfully affectionate sentient creatures. Kitty Daddy 4 life!! ✌️
Our Molly decided my son was all hers. She put him to bed every night. That kid slept with that cat for 15 years. She'd watch out the kitchen window for him. Totally devoted to her boy. Totally meh about me! Silly girl. So loved!
I loved it when my cats did these things! I have to comment about the biting, as some cats have actually been returned to shelters because their “love bites” were too much. And the owners couldn’t take it. When all this particular cat was doing was showing so much love it just bit too hard. Don’t fret, it did get a home. Another thing I saw a cat that I had do when he’d get really caught up with showing adoration was drooling. And I don’t think it’s a common thing, but this particular cat showed so much incredible affection and gratitude for us taking him in, that anytime I’d go outside, he’d just go nuts and rub and pure and show so much affection. And then I’d look at his face and he’d have drool on his chin. This wasn’t all the time, but it was intense. He was such a different type of personality, as he showed up as so many did when we lived out in the rural area. He just showed up! And we had a really large covered porch that for 2 years he’d stay on, and the door to it was glass. And he would not come inside! So he’d sit there with his adorable face just looking in and watching. It made me feel so bad as if he was just dying to come in. However I’d get up 5,6,7 times to allow him to, and he just wouldn’t! Just seeing him there was near torture! So after all the years of coaxing him to come in, and placing the food further and further into the house, eventually he became an indoor/outdoor cat. And he would always lay his head on my dads foot while he slept. It was the most precious thing I’d ever seen. As for so long dad would claim to not like cats, but, then he’d ask us to get him things from the kitchen because he didn’t want to disturb Samson The cat. So it was the straw that broke the denial wide open! He loved that cat as much as we all did. And I miss them both tremendously. I’m sure they’re together and Samsons head is resting peacefully.
This makes me soft❤ The trilling sounded exactly like pebbles. Pebbles is *always* vocalizing in some way or another. Trilling, meowing at night, chirping
The stray cat my mom and I feed rubs on us, chats with us, trills, slow blinks sometimes, and tries to get on our lap but we are scared of her claws so we don't let her. But we love her so damn much. She's literally the only reason we go outside, aside from work. 😂

The cutest thing about them “talking” to us is that adult feral cats mainly communicate through body language or vocalisations outside our hearing range. The fact that her ear is tipped ( and what that usually means) makes it all the more cuter.
