Hey card mechanic I just started making magic RUclips videos a lot of my tricks I've learned from you and I just want to say thank you for making these videos and making it easier to learn tricks
thanks for showing us this trick. In my opinion, I don’t think it’s necessary to be discrete on counting to the 26th card. In the performance you did say that you needed to put the Jack as close to the center as possible; that’s a justification to count to 26 cards.
hello I'm form Egypt I love all your tricks and I thank you to make me a magician and iam know the trick before your tutorial sorry iam not good in English
Yes for me l use pile one and also give it a few more cards in the dispersement and place a card from there on the 3rd pile cover with the first pile and place the pile with the Jack on top or bottom. It seems to be working now. Just wish l could find the original transcript. 9:25
Yeah, I agree. Tested several ways and it seems like the selected card must come from the first pile created out of the three. Regardless if you create the piles from left to right or right to left, the selected card must come from the first pile created. At least in my findings.
hello it is me again I learn with you from Egypt I want a powerful trick that will make the mind fly on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan please من فضلك and Thank you for teaching me how to be a magician sorry iam not good in english
First card trick I mastered! I love switching up the “detective” card to fit the theme of whichever I’m working with: Regular deck: classic Jack Diamond Beatle deck w/Beatle kings: Magic Ringo _Ahem_ adult themed deck: I won’t say here but let’s just say it gets a lot of laughs with a grown up group 😂
That’s strange. It has worked for me every time. The jack should be in the 26th position from the top. The deck should be cut into thirds (with the middle section containing the jack) the other piles should be combined after a card is selected and placed between them. The put it all together, give it a cut and should be self working from there. Send me a video in my email if it still doesn’t work.
@chanic Hey CM. I tried it with the card in the 26th position from the top, and it worked like 3 times and then it did not work. the only thing that is consistent is if the indicator card is in the odd pile the chosen card is in the other odd pile same for the even piles. The only thing I can think of is if the piles are not cut exactly into thirds that messes up the trick.
@RobertBallMagician I'm not sure if you're still looking for an answer, but I may have figured it out. I had the same issue, where the selected card was in the correct packet, but not the same place. After reviewing the video, I noticed the ONE thing that was different between the tutorial and my practice was when it came to separating the cards into 3 packets, prior to the spectator's selection. If you notice in the video, CM's first packet comes from the BOTTOM of the deck. The second is midway, and the third packet came from the TOP. In other words, the packets would be inverted, if the spectator split the packets from the top instead. Knowing that, I found that if packet 1 came from the top, the selected card SHOULD come from packet 3, then placed on top of packet 1. The rest continues as normal. After practicing this a few more times, I haven't had any issues. I hope this makes sense and it helps.
hey, I almost get what u mean but I'm still getting a few cards off from the position of the jack even after assuring that the packets are separated the same way CM is doing it, any tips? @@knifeblade45
@knifeblade45 thank you. I also found that pile one from the bottom should be just a few cards more than the Pike to the far right. I do that and it works every time 👍😊👍😊
I have tried this trick at least 100 times and it doesn't work. I have followed your instructions to the letter and it does not work. What other sneaky thing are you doing?
@@hiranmayeerout1650 It's literally a math based trick. Because of the locations of the jokers, as long as you arrange the piles middle, bottom, top, after removing the joker, the selected cards will end up 9 from the face and 18th from the top. If it doesn't work it's because you aren't copying his instructions properly, not because the trick doesn't work.
@GurnKiller l have been having issues too. It worked for me 3 times. Now it is not working. The only thing consistent is that the chosen card will be in the odd or even pile the indicator card is in. Maybe we should be using the deck of cards CM is using 😅😅

What about asking the spectator to pick a random card at the beginning to be "the detective" or would that mess up the trick?
Awesomeness 😊😊😊😊
Sometimes even the magician doesn't know how it works but magic happens 🤗👍
Beautiful ❤
Thank you! Cheers!

Awesome! Thank you!
I have worked out where the problem is. It is simply this. It matters which pile the card is selected. Test this out.

How do you do that thing you did in the beginning of the video
Under pressure? With the cards flourishing?

Thanks!!
what are some good cards but are also cheap like under 20
I just bought Bicycle, around £8.95 on Amazon, really good. 👍
Bro I love your videos, can you do a giveaway so I can win something?
Soon!
Hey CM, this does not work. I have tried it 7x, and the card is in the correct pile but not in the same location as the face up Jack ????

Amazing trick. As always.

What was that awful music. I was expecting a 1970s 'repairman' to arrive to 'clean the pipes'.

It definitely works if you follow his instructions.

Works for my every time!
@@CardMechanic Does it only work if the chosen card is taken from the 2nd pile? Meaning the chosen card can't be from the 1st?
