The deck flip is the most volatile part of this trick. I was just casually enjoying this and didn't try to figure it out, but I had to stop to rewind and ask "did he just turn the deck but flip it back the same way, which looked super weird given how he was already showing the bottom card turning the deck but flipped it back anyway, while he said he should check the other side". I feel like that really requires some thought work or setup. I think the critical part is tilting the deck enough to show the bottom card, which makes it look totally wrong to flip like "you already had the bottom of the deck showing, why do you have to flip it and why do you flip it the other way?" That part made me think "ok he has just the end card turned and that's the whole gimmick" and after that you keep notes on every move like "he still avoided showing the other side AND the end cards in spreads". It's a little innocent thing like that that draws the attention to what you're not seeing for the rest of the trick whereas normally you'd not pay too much attention.
Yeah great comment, it’s definitely much easier to see this on camera. But when you apply a good amount of misdirection doing this in person, you’ll 100% get away with it!

First, let me say that I really enjoy most of your tricks and find your slight of hand to be quite impressive. Sorry that the roll in this case (vato? vator?? something like that) is really a dead giveaway and ruins an otherwise impressive trick. Maybe I'm just watching too many of your videos? LOL But even during the initial performance, when you did that roll it just seemed so obvious that it did NOT show the other side of the cards. :(

I think one thing we have to realize is that most of these tricks are much better in person. Mainly because misdirection can be more easily used, but would 100% agree that if hands are being burned, it’s difficult to get away with
