A good variation on the ending is to reveal the "prediction" card while only two cards are face up cards are on the table, making 3 out of the 4. Get the spectator to think about where the 4th card may be. Only then to get them to turn over the top card on from the packet still in their hands.
yes, yes, yes!!! I do it this way all the time. I get them to keep the packet in their hand, and then say something like, "ok, so we went from one pair to three of a kind. what's better than three of a kind?" Take a beat here, and have them think about it. when the lightbulbs go off, this usually blows some minds! Sometimes I add, "and it's been in your hand the whole time!" (It hasn't but it's a nice added effect.
I do this trick all the time for folks and it's one of their favorites, and mine. the beauty of this trick is that you set it up _literally_ in front of your spectators and if you do it quickly enough, they're none the wiser. I like the extra riffle shuffle that you add before they "cut" the desk to the top card that you've already preselected for them. :-)
Hi MLT. I have been following you on RUclips forever. I fell in love with a No setup, mathemathical card trick you made around 2019/2020, but cant Seem to find i anywhere, and i forgot how to do it😂. The trick is fairly easy, it starts with you giving The deck to The spectator and The spectator shuffels it, and then proceed to Cut The deck around 1/3 so around 20 cards i believe. Then you begin to lay The cards face up while you count out loud. Meanwhile your spectator must Think of a card in that face up deck. Lets say i count 20 cards total, And The spectator tought og The 12th card which was a 7 of Hearts. Then The trick goes on to where The spectator have to put one card on top of The other 12 times because it was The 12th card they tought of, but they do it behind their back and me not looking. Then with some mathematical number, i Can guess their card 😂. It is presented in a Way where i use magician's choise at The end, so it seems like they where in full controll of The outcome. Can you help me remember the trick?😂

It is easier to setup this by working from the other end of the pack so that the 4 of a kind are determined by the top card not the bottom. Working from the top means that you do not have to do any sliding of cards and it looks more natural.
Do you have a loadup schedule?😂 I always look forword to your vidios❤❤ But as a swed we dont use the same words. So I need to find another way. If you dont have one? Some work like King(English) and Kung(Swedish) but Seven (English) and Sju (Swedish) dont work.
@@Nobi624 I don’t have a specific upload schedule, but I will try to post more frequently the rest of the year. Unfortunately, this trick is designed for the English spelling of all the values, so to ensure it works, I would stick with the English spelling.
I consider tricks that can be done with a shuffled deck as "no setup" even if the magician eventually creates a setup with the deck during the performance.
You have made it a bit complicated, elsewhere i was showm to just keep the two kings side by side and the fourth king on top of the stack. It was so easy to perform. You can talk the process to the guest or spectator. Good luck
well it is a "no set up trick" because a trick that you do set up is where the trick has been set up before you start but in this trick he is using "slight of hand" to get the cards where he wants them so technically it is a "no set up trick"

there's no setup until you literally set it up in front of them while they're watching! that's one of the great things about this trick.
