      What is the card trick where you deal a five handed poker game. Everyone gets a full house and you get a royal flush?

  • @richryan76
    @richryan76 3 года назад +172

    I made up a little story to go with it. The king is a detective, the 'Aces Gang' are diamond thieves and the red/black suits are the male/female shoppers in the mall where the thieves are trying to escape into the crowd. It works well when you show all the cards mixed together. Then ends with the detective having rounded all the thieves up.

      I did it the other day and had the gang stealing the European Cup. Fans from one side were red. Fans from the other side were black. The gang tried to escape into the crowd. But Detective King managed to round them up.

      I learnt this trick when I was under 10 in the 70's. The story of the "thief" existed then. I used to do it and 'amaze' my friends without any bloody idea how it worked :)

Single... Time with no effort or sleights.... Just incredible really thank you so much... And I don't know if it's noticed but the suits will mirror each other in the end every time... Just amazing man really... Wow

    I've used a few of your card tricks with my English language students. It's a great way to teach English: Suffle, deal, suit names, etc - especially when I get them to perform it in English to me. it's also a great way to keep them engaged and build a relationship with the student.

    Btw, if anyone wants to know I made this trick with more piles and cards here is how: 2-10 in every suit= 4 piles 1 pile with As and Ks and a joker (the joker is the special card ). Let them stack. Put them out in 9 piles, let them stack. Then let them cut top to bottom, then bing the joker and everything on top to the bottom. Next deal them back into there 5 piles. Put the jacks and queens aside as you can’t do this trick using the same system with more cards. (Please note we skip the part that you dal into 2 piles because it is not necessary) let me know if you have questions 😀

    It is a cool trick. Thanks.
    I just compiled the important steps.
    Please comment if I made any mistake.
    Steps:
    1. Combine the three piles of five each with Key Card in face-up mode.
    Don't shuffle or cuts
    2. Deal the 15 cards into 5 piles of 3 each.
    Combine them in any order into one pile.
    Don't shuffle or do few cuts.
    3. Deal them into two piles of 8 and 7 each.
    Combine them in any order. You can shuffle and do few cuts.
    "Rearrange the pack with Key card as the last one."
    4. Distribute the pack into three piles as in original pattern. The individual piles return to original distribution!!

    • @martinbuhrer3893
      @martinbuhrer3893 2 года назад

      On step 3., it is very important to do only false shuffles. No real shuffling.

    The trick is to remember when you put the King on the bottom you have to take all the cards on top of it with it. Otherwise you'll mess up.
