Stephanie's Fruit's Bread sounds like celebration to me. A great idea to have around for the holidays to share with family and friends. Here we are with The insightful ways to succeed, is the Avid Epicurean Style of Stephanie's Fruit's Bread. I am just glad to have this demo getting me ready during the holidays. How lucky can we get. It's like receiving an early warm Christmas present and a delicious at that. *AS ALWAYS STEPHANIE'S RECIPE'S DEMO THE TOP OF THE CLASS.*
I tried this recipe today and it was absolutely fantastic. I used dark and golden raisins, cranberries, and dried cherries. To give the bread the flavor profile of a panettone I added 1/4 teaspoon of Fiori di Sicilia to the dough. The aroma is out of this world. Classic panettone is much more labor-intensive. I will be making this from now on!
This looks so delicious. Love the way you explain the smallest of the things that make a big difference to the baking. Thanks a lot Stephanie ❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
My mother would make fruit bread every year at Christmas time for family and friends. Hers was very much like this one. She would decorate the top sometimes with a very light powder sugar & lemon 🍋 glaze. Then top it with a small red candied cherry 🍒 and two little bits of green candied cherries on either side to have it look like a Holly on top. Then we would slice a piece and place it into a toaster oven to toast. Butter and devour it! 😋😋👌 Thank you so much for your great and very thorough demonstration! Brought back wonderful memories of my childhood. Cheers!
I love this channel. She always explained everything in details and patiently. It made me understand. I often come to her when I want to learn the science of cooking so that when I do it, I can do it by heart.
Have come back to revisit this recipe time and again. It works and disappears very quickly. We like to also have it sometimes for a Sunday brunch as "French Toast" in the waffler. Yum!!
Happy first of December! Made this 113022. I changed the cinnamon from 1/4 t to 1/2 t and added grated orange peel. Ay yay yay 😁. I have to stop myself from finishing the loaf by myself. So flavorful! Thanks Stephanie for another excellent recipe! I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Anna 🇵🇭
I know this is 2y ago but I’m sure some people will still use this channel ….. I’ve just made this fruit bread but instead of using cinnamon I used allspice and it tastes awesome …. Thank you for sharing your recipe
I’m so much into bread making now a days. Very similar recipe sweet Iranian milk bread i made called “Sheermal” and it was an instant hit with my family. I’m also making savoury breads inventing different flavours to go with soup and they are coming out so delicious. I’ll definitely try this bread because it is not difficult but time taking as it needs to prove and it gives me vibe of Panettone, which is loved by my whole family.
I made this classic panettone style fruit bread and it turned out soooo good, my whole family loved it. I soaked the dry fruits in Marsala wine and it gave a fantastic flavour. This is so much easier recipe to follow than some of the traditional panettone and it still tasted equally good. Merry Christmas to you and your family!🎄⛄️❄️🎉
I made this and it turned out really yummy! Easy recipe to follow too but I did knead it for longer in order to pass the "window pane test". I love watching your channel, Stephanie - you're so organised and give such practical and sensible tips where it matters.
Hi dear Stephanie! Beautiful and rich bread! I'm happy with this recipe! It looks fantastic! Thank you very much for this nice video and have a wonderful week!
Thanks so much Stephanie; this bread looks delicious. I am already learning a lot from your baking videos. Hope you and your family have a wonderful season!🎄
I live in ON Canada, wish you were here in Canada. I love your baking and a big Fan of yours. Regularly watching your videos and really appreciate your baking recipes. 😍
I made it and it was delicious. My kind of bread especially around Christmas since I am not too fond of fruit cake. Great bread! Merry Christmas Stephanie & Fam.!
Funny thing is just yesterday I was thinking of fruit bread and how I would live to have some. I used to buy it from my local supermarket but hadn’t for a while then this video shows up in my feed, weird or what…anyway luckily I had all the ingredients in my cupboard (baking bread was one thing I learnt in lockdown) so I set to and it turned out amazing. Thank you for the video I will definitely be making this again
How can you do the bread or the fruits bread in the bread machine. Please help me because I got the machine at home. I think it should be much easier but I don't know how to go about it because I don't have the booklet for the machine. But I want to try your fruit bread it looks very yummy. And well done too.
Hi Stephanie. In your video the peels were not soaked with the dried fruits in water. Instead of buying separate dried fruits n orange peels, I bought a box of ready mixed drives fruits, mixed peels and dried cherries. Can I soak them all in water like u did for the dried fruits ? Or should I buy and soak just the dried fruits only, excluding the mixed peels? Thank u!
Hi Stephanie. Google Franklin Nut Cake. My favorite Christmas fruit cake/bread for years when I had family at home. More pecans than fruit & one lb of butter. Takes 3 hours to bake and weighs 4 lbs. Best ever in my book. Here’s the recipe...FRANKLIN NUT CAKE 1 lb. butter 2 c. sugar 6 eggs 4 c. plain flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 lb. candied cherries 1/2 lb. candied pineapple 1 lb. of shelled pecans 2 tsp. vanilla Cream butter and sugar, add eggs..one at a time. Gradually..Add 3 cups of flour, baking powder and salt. Mix remaining flour with cherries, pineapple and nuts. Stir into batter and add vanilla. Pour into tube pan sprayed with Pam. Bake at 250 degrees for 3 hours. Cool in pan.
Greetings from Toronto! Your bread looks looks like a keeper...thank you for sharing. Stephanie, I was thinking about soaking the fruit in Port wine, do you think it would work in this recipe?
WOW it looks absolutely delicious! Thank you for always sharing great recipes that are easy to follow and delicious. You have inspired me to start my own channel. Have a great day🌷
How would you freeze that bread please? What do you think about the bags at the geocery storw that we put our peppers in or ciilantro would they be good for freezing.? Thanks
Hi Beautiful Stephanie!❤🙋♀️💓 I miss you and always appreciate you, it's like having a good friend in the kitchen with you💜❤ you are the best. God Bless you always! I love you💓💜❤
As here in Hong Kong most of us don't have heat at home and my oven doesn't have a switch for its light, in winter I proof my dough in a cold oven with a glass of boiling water in it. Better yet you needn't cover your bowl, saving some cling film.
Stephanie, or anyone else do you know of something similar called chop suey? It's a fruit bread, and at some point, the flour is dumped on the counter and chopped with the fruit and eggs. My mother used to make it, but I don't have a recipe. It sounds like this bread except for the method. Thanks so much.
Hello. Yes, I did. There's no method that is similar to the chopping all the ingredients together. If I don't have a stand mixer, how long is the kneading by hand? Thanks.
I just made this. So goooood. Thank you for this. (I added extra cinnamon because we Indonesians love love cinnamon)

I’ve never tried that but it should work.
Wow ! It looks delicious 😋
Thank you for the recipe .
Could you please tell me the brand of your mixer? Thank you….the recipe is great….
I use a Kenwood Titanium Chef 5 quart mixer.
The bread looks so very delicious. I think it deserves some sweet cream butter.
What is sweet cream butter?

I’m sorry but I’ve never used a bread machine. You could do a google search on your brand of bread machine as they sometimes have their manual online.

Hi Mrs.Stephanie,Merry Christmas and A Healthy,And Happy New Year..🙋🏽♀️

Here’s the recipe...FRANKLIN NUT CAKE
1 lb. butter

6 eggs
4 c. plain flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. candied cherries
1/2 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. of shelled pecans
2 tsp. vanilla
Cream butter and sugar, add eggs..one at a time.
So much like a Babka but less eggs. Very good. Have made a few.
Very beautiful loaf of bread.
You are the best ! Love this recipe.
Looks lovely. Love your recipes,so im going to try this bread. Where did you get your blue plastic spatula?
Thank you. I bought it at Williams Sonoma.
I am going to make this tomorrow. It’s exactly what I am looking for 😊
Wonderful and perfect 😍👍 thank you 🌹
The bread looks yummy. Does it stay soft the next day in room temperature?
Yes for a few days. Just store it in a plastic bag.
@@joyofbaking Thank you. Will try to bake it tomorrow. Looks really soft and fluffy good!
Wow look so good remind me of panettone !!! Thank so much 👏👏👍🏻🥰

in this recipe?
WOW it looks absolutely delicious! Thank you for always sharing great recipes that are easy to follow and delicious. You have inspired me to start my own channel. Have a great day🌷
Love it 👌❤ great recipe
OH MY! That looks delicious. I’m going to make this.
Hi Gina
How are you doing? 🎄🎅
Wow look amazing 🌹❤️
The bread looking good yummy
How would you freeze that bread please? What do you think about the bags at the geocery storw that we put our peppers in or ciilantro would they be good for freezing.? Thanks
Wrap it in plastic to freeze. If you are using those thin grocery plastic bags I would use 2 as they tend to get holes easily.
Will definitely make this. Thank you.🌸
Yummy!!! So pretty and perfect! ❤️❤️❤️
Super good
Hi Beautiful Stephanie!❤🙋♀️💓 I miss you and always appreciate you, it's like having a good friend in the kitchen with you💜❤ you are the best. God Bless you always! I love you💓💜❤
It look good thank ypu Stephen
HELLO STEPHANIE CAN I ADD THE FRUIT WHEN MIXING THE DOUGH - THANKYOU
You can. But make sure the dried fruits are nice and plump. Otherwise they will draw moisture from the dough.
As here in Hong Kong most of us don't have heat at home and my oven doesn't have a switch for its light, in winter I proof my dough in a cold oven with a glass of boiling water in it. Better yet you needn't cover your bowl, saving some cling film.
