Love it, gorgeous view of the Atlantic on the 'First Coast.' I currently live by the town center across the bridge along JTB highway, but I will now be living here shortly later this year!
This is on my vision board! A big house on the oceanfront to walk out to every morning to get ready for my day. Pool for days that I don't want to be in the ocean. 4 car garage. And doors for giants and rockstars. 🔥
Decent home but I am over the beach. What does it really have to offer besides ridiculous, ongoing maintenance headaches and cost? People need to understand that buying coastal property sounds glamorous and fun, but through it all, you'll spend most of your time, either getting ripped off by local contractors or doing tons of work that completely intercepts your ability to enjoy the property in the first place. I know this stuff... I grew up with beach house after beach house within my family. Still own two. Getting rid of both. Done.
Good question! The second floor simply has a better view than the first. The meaning behind the architecture in this particular home is to have the best views from the home's most used areas: kitchen, living room, dining room and main owner's suite.
Great looking house and video. The design oversight of the builders at 6:40 of having a support beam spoil the master bedroom view is something that would bother me so much!
Absolutely! It's built for hurricanes. Jacksonville has also not gotten hit horribly by a hurricane in a very long time (Hurricane Dora on Sept. 10, 1964) 😊
Hi Antonio! This home is no longer available, however we do have another current oceanfront property listed with us in Ponte Vedra. We would be happy to chat with you about that property or help you find similar homes for sale, as well as answer any additional questions you may have! Please give us a call or text us at 904.204.9494.
I grew up in Boca Raton. While Boca is beautiful, it's very congested, and over-populated. What I love about this home, is not only it exquisite elegance, attention to detail, and inviting coastal coziness; but the highly desirable location. Exceptional water views of the Atlantic Ocean to the east, and the Guana Preserve water views to the west. Rare to find such a private beach setting.
Hi Amos! The particular home isn't available, yet there are quite a few available that are similar. When would be a good time to connect regarding these homes? Feel free to call or email directly at 904-204-9494 or Sarah@theroccogroup.com.
@@theroccogroup Gurl me too. Its such a gorgeous house, but Ive watched some YT videos of sea level rising because it affects my hometown Hawaii, and it looks like its no joke.
I'm not sure if you watched until the end; however, we addressed this issue in the video with the architect himself. This house is designed very well for hurricanes! 57 pilings!
2.9 Million for a small house like that is a waste of money. I can build ahome twice that size right there in St.Johns County. I can buy the land for cheap in that county and build a 5000-6000sq ft size for under 800,000
2.9 million for this house... TO MUCH, I STILL REMEMBER THE LAST TIME a big storm wrecked this entire area! And now with global warming this spot on Florida will be hurricane alley at least 3 times a year! NO offense, but I wouldn't pay more than 1.3 on this house >>> AND THAT'S ME BEING GENEROUS! (the reason >>> no pool, no privacy, and the area is a danger zone for when a really bad hurricane comes along > danger to your house and to your personal health when the people from Jacksonville come looking for food and water after the storm)
I get it; this is a multimillion dollar house. But it just seems like an enormous waste of space and an egregious carbon footprint. While there are some lovely features, the scale of this house just serves as a reminder for how self-absorbed so many wealthy people are. As is typical of clients with unlimited funds, there is no consideration for preserving the planet and its natural beauty. If the architect were truly talented, he would come up with a design that could incorporate the same key features on a scale far less gluttonous than this. Instead, he created a predictable design which only serves to stroke the fragile ego. That makes this house unimpressive and disappointing, over all.
What do you think of this home?
I loved everything except the kitchen.
Is it only 2.9 million?
i love you more than the home
It looks very luxurious

I’m packing my bags! This is the home I’ve always dreamed of where I can think, paint, create, write and live happy and at peace ❤️
This home is a great example of simple, classy design!
The elevator sure comes in handy when lugging all the supplies up to the kitchen. :)
So true! Would you get an elevator in your house?
Yess ! Love the build and architecture of the whole house !!
That house looks perfect. Modern, but not cold and stale.
I’m gonna have a house like this one day😍😍😍
I don’t think so

Great mansion. Love it! I’m a real estate agent based in Vietnam with many lovely, beautiful beachfront houses as well.

Beautiful blend of coziness and elegance. You don't find many ocean front homes with that size lot. Great find.
We can't agree more!

Beautiful!
💕 this house..love it
I wonder if pools are prohibited.
It’s beautiful! I don’t get why the kitchen is upstairs though?
Good question! The second floor simply has a better view than the first. The meaning behind the architecture in this particular home is to have the best views from the home's most used areas: kitchen, living room, dining room and main owner's suite.
Do you have ovens??? Double oven?
Great looking house and video. The design oversight of the builders at 6:40 of having a support beam spoil the master bedroom view is something that would bother me so much!
A great looking house indeed, thanks for watching and providing feedback Austin!

Amazing Home
We agree!
Wow this beautiful ❤️❤️ Kitty..
wll that survive a yearly hurricane?
Absolutely! It's built for hurricanes. Jacksonville has also not gotten hit horribly by a hurricane in a very long time (Hurricane Dora on Sept. 10, 1964) 😊
How bad are the mosquito and no see'em bugs ?
It's not too bad over here, actually. There's a lot of wind down S Ponte Vedra.
Still available? Any more beach homes available?

Perfect if you had a pool
Nice home but it's so basic. I like houses in Boca Raton better. Thank you for showing us this home though 😊.

Hate the east coast tho too many hurricanes
It doesn't ever really hit Jax badly compared to places like Miami and of the sort. Let us know if you change your mind😉
That’s Ben Malays street you can see his house in the back ground well his roof 😂
I’m crying in Kansas
Sold already??
Yes, sadly sold already but our team would be glad to help you find another property!
In the beginning you say, "California coastal home" and the home is in Florida. hmmm
Hi RJ! Sorry for the confusion! We meant to imply that it is similar to what you may see by the California Coast.
nice house
Thank you!!
This is house still available?

This house will soon be hitting the beach due to sea-level rising.
Hopefully not! It stands on 57 pilings just in case.

Ok lefty. Wise up to the fact that AOC and others like her are full of crap.
and you will get wash out, disappear, gone, goodbye, by the next hurricane. It's pretty though, but too close to the ocean.
