Did he show the master bedroom/bath and i missed it? Also, in a home this big, i think id want more than 2 guest bedrooms, but godamn that grotto is awesome
Phenomenal home and the taxes are only $5000/year, that's a steal compared to NY. Just seen a $1,200,000 home in Rochester, NY and the property taxes were $77,000/year. That's not a typo, yes $77,000/year. I've seen property taxes in middle class neighborhoods well over $15,000/year in NY, this is why we got outta there.
This is one of many reasons why so many people from the north are moving here. I grew up in the northwest suburbans of Chicago and when I first moved to Myrtle Beach no one from Illinois believed how the taxes are so much less here!
@@MovingToMyrtleBeach I'm from New England, so your reply makes for a good laugh. I'd go with protection from golf balls. LOL. Still a beautiful place.
Throughout Florida those are lovingly referred to as a bird cage. Most people build them around their back yard pools to help keep the bugs out - which would be beneficial with all of the accordion doors this home has. Since they use the same screens you’d use for screening in your standard porch they aren’t actually fully enclosed per say and you wouldn’t want to be out there year round as Myrtle Beach has winter temps down into the single digits.
I personally have enjoyed a lot of 60 and 70 degree weather in December! A matter of fact it hasn't been single digits for this century in Myrtle Beach lol
I can't believe how cheap that is for what you get. A bit on the tacky side and I don't get the big cage around your outside. I live in a tropical climate in Australia but would never never ever consider fencing me in.
Winter temperatures CAN get into the single digits, but overall winters are typically fairly mild in the Myrtle Beach area and they very rarely get snow.
@@MovingToMyrtleBeach I live close to the state capital, Columbia, SC (the midlands) we call the weather bipolar. The only place you can run the AC and heat on the same day😊. However, I will say that the 2 1/2 hour drive for us in the off season is well worth it and it feels so good on the beach even if we are getting some cold weather at home.👍
Tile is the way to go for floors, wood scratches, carpet sucks in general, plus tile is cooler on the feet. In hotter places this is sort of the style for nice houses,. I'm sure there's some nice trailers you can check out.
Here's some advice: The person giving the tour doesn't have to be in the frame the whole time. You can pan around a bit and actually show the house.
Best mansion i had seen in a while. In my opinion its better then the new modern homes being built nowadays.
It was unbelievable! It was even better to see in-person!
the covered space in the back is insane!!! Id love to buy that place!
It’s unbelievable in person!! I’d love to be your realtor 😎
I like the covered backyard. What a great concept
This home is truly spectacular!
@@MovingToMyrtleBeach That price tag is also spectacular.....lol
Don't worry about these idiots who make rude comments! Trust me none of them are going to buy a house like this. Videos are excellent.
Thank you for the support!!
I'd say it's a bit on the old side needs a lot of work but it is very nice very big just needs freshening up
I would love to live there. Love this beautiful home
Me too!! Such a beautiful home!
Great tour I definitely love this house
All I can think about is how much it costs to defog and clean those windows!! 😮
I love the "backyard"!
Me too!

The master bedroom starts at 6:22! Definitely an unbelievable home!

@@Voltzy70 thank you!!!

Government is FAR more expensive up north.
Let me go grab some lotto tickets

Hopefully this be on the market in 2 years because it will definitely be mines!!!!
I would love to help when that time comes!!
Better have a bigger bag of xrp than mine 😂
😍🥰
I'd expect more bedrooms for that price point. The whole idea is to be able to invite a large number of family members over.

What song did you use to play at the end of your video? I love it
The song is called Tomorrow by Scandinavianz!
@@MovingToMyrtleBeach Thanks for the reply. What is the first song you used that starts at 11:50 into the video?
@@MovingToMyrtleBeach good for you by thbd I found it with Shazam lol
@@CocoaSip That is the one! I thought you were talking about the last song in the video.
I'm curious, is the enclosed backyard for environmental reasons or just to protect from bad golfers shanking their shots.😁
With the enclosed backyard you can enjoy it year round!!

Everyone has different tastes in styles. I think the screened-in lanai for the backyard is a nice feature, but everyone has their own opinions.
2.4 million..they really dropped the price to sell.
Looks like they're serious about finding a buyer. Dropping the price can definitely generate more interest in the property
If it's a wooden house, 1.4M is a fair price. Here in southern Europe, the only wooden houses are the tree houses for children to play.
Is it cold there?
It has been in the 60s this week!
Winter temperatures CAN get into the single digits, but overall winters are typically fairly mild in the Myrtle Beach area and they very rarely get snow.
I am not sure about single digits and the last time we had snow was in 2010.
not really, it's pretty hot and humid in that region. For the most part.

Outside of being a mansion I think this house is ugly. The interior is so cold and sterile.
sadly it sold back in september
That’s correct. There is one in Grande Dunes that has similarities to this one.
Is it close to Shakey’s Pizza?
I don't think we have Shakey's Pizza in Myrtle Beach or the east coast. However, we have a lot of pizza to choice from here!
This is not a very comfortable looking house, it looks cold..
Way too much tiles. Looks cold and not inviting. Pool looks good, but not sure what that weird roof over the pool is.
Everyone has different tastes in style but I be happy to help find what your looking for! For the backyard it is a screened-in lanai.
screened in
