Beautiful home. Needs upgrades throughout. This house should sit 3 plus acres for that asking price.

This house with “upgrades throughout” would easily be $7 million or more. It’s priced so that the new buyer can update the home to their taste. Furthermore, 3 plus acre waterfront lots simply do not exist in The Peninsula neighborhood and if they did wouldn’t be priced at $5 million (with a large mansion) when it could be subdivided into 3-4 lots priced at a minimum $3 million each.

Agreed - a 3-acre waterfront lot on Lake Norman with any kind of open water view will run $5,000,000+ easily - for just the lot! (Also, they don't exist at least in Cornelius)

I love this design, I would love to put this home on a 7 acre lot with an additional square footage of 3 feet to each room.

I love this style of architecture..it enables one to make it into whatever they want..thanks for the presentation but I never saw the elevator..hahaha I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other😂😂😂😂😊

I see a lot of potential. A few upgrades and renovations will do the trick. Also, I dont mind the closeness to the other houses at all. Must be bc I live in Manhattan.😅 Nice tour!!

Built in 1997 and it looks like it. Amazing how folks can put 8,834sf on such a small piece of land.

Ready for a mild remodel you think? Agreed, lots are on the smaller side in The Peninsula.

These homes are beautiful but they have no property! I lived on 3 acres in what we called the boonies on the north side of Lake Bowen in Spartanburg County and we were so spread out (neighbors) that if I wanted to dance naked in the rain on my back deck or front yard (it had the most lush grass) . . . By God, I was dancing naked! These poor people can probably hear their neighbors belch or worse! 😳

Beautiful home but why is a home like this in both neighbors yard. Dang to close. Oh well not for me. I don't want my neighbors in my lap. No deal.

That is a misleading optical. You can't see your neighbors at all from the back
We love the beautiful Mediterranean style. Reminds me of Europe🥰

Owners spared no expense on this property... sad that the houses are so close together, and for the Price, you would think there would be an elevator in it. A little disappointed at the interior design.

There is an elevator. I took a ride in it in the video.

Nice Location but it just feels old with a few updates here and there.. some much money is for the location, but so much redecorating will turn lots off❤

Location is key here. The lot alone is worth $2M+.

Yeah so why waste your time.building a house thats gonna be that close to neighbors??? Also why did they pick the old late 90s/early 2000s style inside. The curtains are terrible, also the chairs in the bedroom are hideous. And btw nobody but the real estate agent cares about who the real estate agent is. Video gets 4/10. 👏

Yeah the design seems old. Not even sure I like the architecture design. The curve shapes are not my taste but could be someone else.

I'd call this.a design fail. Unispired. Mediocre and lacking in taste.
