It all sounds good if just read their "marketing" copy on the radiator page, but if you read Flyin' Miata's actual test data in their knowledge base, this radiator only reduced the coolant temperature 2 or 3 degrees lower than the stock radiator. That doesn't seem like a lot to me, but I'll let others chime in.
My buddy has had some issues with the Koyos on his FC RX-7. Repeated failures in the same spot. He switched to a Mishimoto and no issues.

I know right, it’s begging for a reroute now! I keep telling myself I’m going to swap the engine so why bother, but then I keep buying more parts for this engine 😂

I just received my Crossflow Radiator from Flying miata and it doesn’t come with those side brackets, how do I mount this on my car!?
I’m surprised that when you needed a radiator quick that flyin Miata was the solution. They’ve been out of stock endlessly and take months to ship parts out sometimes!
I know right! This radiator was out of stock for a while. Flyin Miata has definitely improved with shipping times.
I'm gonna need to ditch my oem radiator before long, it's looking sad. Just might go with this one when i decide to pull the trigger
If it’s looking poopy, it’s probably time! This radiator definitely isn’t the cheapest option, but I do think it is one of the best. Hopefully it’s the last one I’ll ever have to buy for this car 🤞
Word. Yeah the too of mine is getting the brownish color to it and lil bits of dried up coolant built up on the seems. Not good
I thought every koyorad was crossflow but i guess the one i just put in isnt...
Yeah most of them are not. Flyin Miata redesigned this one with Koyo.
why did you ditch the aluminum overflow tank?
I was chasing a coolant issue and took it off to eliminate it as a possible cause. Turns out it was just the thermostat giving me trouble. I’ll probably put it back on. I like the new flyin Miata overflow tank a little more though. It seems like a better design with a proper vent on it.
