I thought of you Mariana when I planned my travel outfit for a recent trip east coast U.S. to the west coast U.S. The attire of some travelers through the airports is shocking. I felt so good when the female attendant screening me through security said, "That's a beautiful outfit." (black crinkle maxi, cream tee, cream vest, gold patterned scarf) Thanks, Mariana!
So cool, your upcoming trip! I live in East Tennessee, just gorgeous area. If driving, Blue Ridge Parkway is a lovely and memorable drive! There is so much to see and do, it's hard to say! North Carolina has so much, culturally, also. I guess it depends on general focus of this trip: historical, cosmopolitan experiences, music, scenic, touristy, etc.

I live in Virginia. Richmond and Charlottesville, are wonderful and there is an inn called Veritas in Charlottesville that is lovely. The mountains in Virginia are beautiful too, and the hiking is great. The Appalachians are one of the oldest mountain ranges in the world. The historic areas such as Williamsburg are fun, too. I meant to tell you I love the striped shirt you were wearing the last video.
I live about 1.5 hours south of Nashville, Tennessee. My recommendation is NOT to go to the main strip in Nashville, known as Broadway, unless you want beer spilt all over you by the drunks. I recommend German town or Hillsboro Village near Vanderbilt University, which has a great mall. The mountains are beautiful. Be prepared to experience fashion shock. It's not a priority in this state, generally speaking. I'm known as a fashionista in my area, simply because it's that bad. As for sewing, many, many....many years ago I took a sewing class. My project was a pair of shorts. I quit when I got to the zipper. Not my thing either. Great chat, TY!
