Facts-
Pasta butter and parmigiano is actually a real Italian recipe from the region of Lombardy. It's mainly for kids but my mami always made it for me when I was sick 🥰
Edit:
To make it good you don't actually season it, no garlic salt (never heard of it before actually lol), no herbs, you just need quality ingredients.
You have to melt the butter at a very low setting in a pan. Boil in salted water the pasta and drain it a little undercooked (al dente) KEEP HALF A CUP OF PASTA WATER. Throw the pasta and the water in the pan with the butter at a very low setting and sprinkle FRESHLY GRATED parmigiano, at least 100 grams while stirring the pasta. If you want to season it use black pepper. Very nice and very good.
Also pesto rosso exists don't worry 😂
my grandma actually makes me this ! It was smth her mom made her when she was young bc they were Italian immigrants and she loved it so she'd cook it for me and my cousin as well ! Really tasty dish, when made right
Ti amo, GRAZIE PER AVERGLIELO INSEGNATO.
I'm not from anywhere near Europe, so I'm not too familiar with European recipes, but this seems simple and yummy! I happen to have parmigiano at home, so I'm gonna make this today :)
This recipe is Italian approved
Yes this or pastina is what we got when sick. she also made homade chicken soup mmmmm. You don’t need alot of seasoning when using quality ingredients. The simplicity of the flavors is delicious

The ham and cheese thing reminded me of something my mom makes. It’s called a monte cristo sandwich and I don’t really know the origins of it very well but I believe it’s based on French origins. It is French! It’s really good, I’m not from France but I’ve been there!

I love your channel..
I went to pastry school for 2 years and have had many culinary classes. I love the kitchen, cooking and baking. I do want to say I noticed in your videos anytime you fry you don’t have your oil temperature correct before you put the food in. When you put this ham and cheese into the oil the oil temperature was way too low and when the temperature is low it just sucks up all that oil. So if the temperature is proper when you’re deep frying it’s way less oily. Because the outside starts to crust over and the oil doesn’t seep in.. I hope that makes sense.. Thanks for the amazing videos..
One more tip. I’m to the part where you’re making the deep dish pizza. So when I roll out fondant for a cake I have to do the same thing. It’s got to be the length of the top of the pan and the sides so next time do this. If the pan is 9 inches across and 2 inches high add that up 9+2+2 = 13 plus let’s at an extra inch just to have. So now roll out your dough into at least a 14 inch circle. Just take your ruler and just checked the width of the dough and turn it a little bit check it and you’ll get there you’ll save yourself so much time.

Tip for your pizza dough: you need to knead the dough, about 10 to 15 minutes. This will build up the gluten and also makes it not sticky anymore, more of a smooth texture.
She put the salt straight on the yeast that kills it so she ruined it rising then lol
@@gemmainwood5020 it rose though
As the daughter of a cook: when you make a dough, naturally, it is sticky. so you gotta put flour on your hands and anything it will touch! Like, how you put water borax on your hands when you play with sticky slime. Flour the stick, your hands, the surface..
Exactly! There's nothing wrong with a sticky dough :) it's just a bit messy :D
also oil works a lot better if your dough doesnt need more flour.

I got an idea- you can eat 7 days of country specialities? Like, Monday it's Italian specialties, Thursday it's Chinese ect 😭 idk if that make any sense 😃
She should try Afghan food! It’s so good! 😌 Afghan-style egg plant (borani banjan with sliced tomatoes) and fresh naan. Afghani-style beef meatballs with a tomato sauce base (kofta Afghani) with rice (palaw), tomato potatoes (boil down the potatoes in tomato purée, garlic powder, salt, pepper and water) and a fresh crunchy salad. Lamb stew (shorwa) with beans and vegetables is a good stew to warm your heart! Chalau (a type of Afghani “risotto”) with rice and lamb is good, too. (You serve it with yoghurt!) Lamb chops (any authentic recipe, really) and rice is really good, too. Bolani is also really delicious-it’s a delicious a pan-fried dish with either leek or spicy potato in a thin layer of dough. Steamed mantu (a meat dumpling) or ashak (a leek dumpling) is a comfort food and loved dish for Afghans. You serve it with a thin layer of yoghurt mixed with grated garlic on the plate, then you place the dumplings on the plate and add a sauce made with a tomato base, lentils and beef mince (not necessary) and spices. Then, you add another layer of the aforementioned yoghurt and add dried crushed mint on top.
I never understood the frozen honey trend, it’s literally so much sugar how can anyone enjoy it?
Fr
I love eating sugar even raw sugar cubes or crystallized sugar so yeah everyone is different xD
plus eating too much honey will act as a laxative (it's literally even used to help constipation in small amounts).... so yeah, no thanks - I would rather not shit myself :-)
It seems like the trend is really just about the unusual texture of frozen honey, but yeah.
Freezing an entire bottle, and consuming it (mostly) in one go is pretty dumb. lol
i made a really little amount and it gave me a stomach ache cause of how sweet it is :-) (the textures not worth it lmao)

@@beaniesketch It's been confirmed that Trisha prefers They/them pronouns and they have She/her on their social media because their family still uses them. They still have said that they prefer They/Them, especially from non-family members.
@@GotitoGaara8 ah ok, thanks
hi, I'm Italian 🇮🇹 that pizza dough... lol, let's talk about it. pizza dough actually should be very sticky after it's made; it doesn't need more flour. it just requires a little bit of kneading before the first rise to develop and firm up the gluten a little bit. so the mistake was not kneading the dough to develop firmer gluten, but instead just adding more and more flour. so don't add more flour!! just knead it on a well floured surface until it firms up a little.
also, you should bloom your yeast in warm water to make sure it's alive before using it, and to make sure your water has the correct temperature for the yeast to activate. In order for dry yeast to activate, it needs liquid, and that liquid must be between 100 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit, or 38 to 42 degrees Celsius, for best rise. so to use dry yeast in your recipe, take the required amount of water for your recipe, and heat it to 40 degrees C then add a tablespoon of sugar, which feeds the yeast, and then add the yeast directly to that warm sugar water. cover it up with a lid (it's easiest to do this in a large pot on the stove - heat the water in a pot to 40 C, then remove from the burner and add the yeast) and let the yeast 'bloom' in the water for 3 to 5 minutes. you will know that the yeast is active because it will foam up in the water. then mix your flour salt baking powder corn meal, ect in a separate dry ingredient bowl and once mixed, pour the dry ingredients into the yeast water. mix it until it is combined, then let it rest for a few minutes. finally, turn it out onto a very well floured surface and knead it for a few minutes until the texture has become a little more bouncy and firm. oil a large bowl and place the kneaded dough into that bowl and cover with plastic wrap, NOT aluminum foil or a towel, or you can use an air tight lid, and proof the dough in an airtight container placed into a warm 93 C oven or in the direct sunlight until it doubles in size. knead it again, cut it into pieces (one piece of dough per desired pizza crust - check the yield of your recipe) and form the pieces into balls, then place them on a sheet tray, or in a casserole dish, and cover them again with plastic wrap (airtight!) and proof again in the same warm place until doubled in size. roll out and use.
so basically, the mistakes with the pizza dough were: adding too much flour which made the dough dense instead of bouncy, not blooming or feeding the yeast so it probably didn't fully activate causing the dough to rise much less than it should have, not kneading the dough at all which created an undesirable texture and not proofing the dough in an airtight environment, which allowed all the gasses that form during proofing to escape which kept the dough from inflating during the rising process.
one more important issue: I know you said that you were emotionally done at that point, but you do have to let the pizza sauce cool before putting it on raw dough or it will melt and deform the dough. you can just put it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes, stirring it every few minutes, and that should cool it down from boiling enough to keep it from ruining your pizza dough.
just in case you keep attempting these cooking videos, I thought I would at least tell you what went wrong, since you seemed confused and upset by the results. I hope all of this helps you! you can do it girl; cooking just takes practice. I used to read a cookbook once every few months when I was younger to improve my knowledge, and I think it really helped (as if you have time to read these days, but still). watching cooking videos also helps! lol, love you Naomi.
definitely not a necessary comment, she will probably never make pizza again anyway
I think your reply is very helpful. I did not know this and I always try make good pizza dough and I like to cook Naomi's food, because she makes it look often sooooo delicious!
With the kind of yeast she has (dry instant yeast, not dry active yeast, idk if we have the latter in Germany) you don't need to activate it, it says on the package to add it directly to the flour - I do that and use warm water, works a charm :) But I also properly knead my pizza dough :D
I agree except for the yeast Part . German yeast doesnt need to be activated , you can throw it right into the flour and it works very well!

You’re fine calling it pesto. Pesto is just the method of using a mortar and pestle to grind the ingredients together. Green pesto is correctly called Pesto Genovese and red pesto is Pesto Rosso. You’re good :)

your makeup go together with your eyes so beautifully ❤😮
Pasta with butter and parmasan has been one of my go-to comfort meals since I was a little kid! So simple but so good!
I can’t get over how good her makeup is 😭😭
If I eat on restaurant my mom gets angry and tells why did u not take me there or bought food for me too and one day I just took her to a restaurant and she was happy like grill she doesn't let me eat alone I'm also girl but she is angry if I eat alone at resturants and if I go to markets she gets angry like gurll I can't do anything or what I learned driving on my scooter for what just for my mother getting angry when I go to restaurant markets eat ice cream like grill she tells don't go far from home what I will I is tell that I will go to friend house but actually I will go to restaurant yard that's it
For the jelly cake thing, I would’ve recommended using coffeee jelly. Coffee jelly is amazing with condensed milk and I’m sure it would’ve come out better
What does jello taste like?
Where do you get coffee jelly?
Would you just use coffee instead of water?
@@annepickens2042 yeah you pretty much just make coffee and use that in place of water
@@nicotheshroom5822 jello can have a few different flavors but gelatin (what its made out of) has a very bland, flat flavor. It's not very good on its own
Omg!!! I grew up loving buttered noodles and parmasan!!!! So simple but soooo good!!! 🥦🥦
I love watching Naomi while I play Splatoon 3, its a great background sound to listen to while I try to get better in Anarchy :')
Um, how do I say that Trisha's buttered noodles was something my mom would make when I was younger because it was really cheap... Like, just noodles, butter, and a lot of parmesan, then you throw a shit ton of salt and some garlic salt on there to season it? Don't get me wrong, I fucking LOVE buttered noodles. There's just something about seeing it being made by someone out of sheer curiosity because it's something I grew up with constantly due to it being just the cheapest option.
Same here
it's something I eat now because I can't really eat most pasta sauce. I like adding garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
Honestly, its a major binge food for me. So simple and cheap...
@@literallycringeidk360 I secretly make this when my parents are not around. it's a total delish-

Oh my goodness I discovered pesto last year I love it so much that it makes me smile when I cook with it it makes every dish delectable is that a word well whatever it makes the dish the bomb
The frenchie in me is honored by your beautiful prononciation of "Millefeuille" and "Pâtisserie" 😭😭💘
All I could think of with 'frenchie' is the dog, so now I'm imagining a French bulldog in a human suit who is deeply appreciative of correct pronunciation
YES
@@thejewelledparrot2818 bruh now I'm a bulldog in a suit 😂
le millefeuille qu'elle a mis en photo tho
genre c ceux de la cantine😥😥
Mille-feuille would be like "thousand-sheets" (mille=thousand, feuille=sheet) or something in english lol, it's made like puff pastries, so there's a lot of layers like Naomi said!
Thank you for listening to my tiny course about mille-feuille 🤣
Makes sense! And it sounds delicious!
It’s what she said
tysm for the frozen honey recipe! i could never find it!
Bro her videos are sooo good
I took german in highschool and I LOVE that I can understand half of the time when you guys rant or just certain words 🤣 if only people knew what you were saying LMFAO
I'm jealous
@@hellokittymonsta2234 I'm always jealous of others knowing even a little of another language lol
She never disappoints with her content!
Wir lieben dich Naomi🥰🥰🥰
Girl that makeup looks so good with your eye color Omg
I used to eat my pasta like that all the time, especially when I was a little kid (more than 40 years ago). And being from Chicago, I love the way you pronounce it. Makes it sound very posh... which it really isn't.
