      I'm an advanced guitarist who played in various rock and metal bands in my earlier years. I've always had my guitars setup to Eb. It's so much easier to bend notes for solos and of course the vocalist likes not having to sing so high as well...lol.Anyway, Steve, I always enjoy your video tutorials! Thanks! Steve! Oh yeah, when you started playing Werewolves of London it almost sounded like Bad Company "Feel like Making Love" which is an excellent song!

    Finally. Someone taking the time to tell me how to make the chords that go along with the tutorial. And explains why I’m having so much trouble learning any chords. I thought people were giving me different ways to play the same chords. I need to learn the easy ways! Thank you for sharing this with us!

    Steve ,you are a real good teacher. I started playing guitar in 1968, I was 9. I tripped across your site one day and watched. I still look you up couple times a week to see what your class is doing. I wish when I was a kid, (obviously no computer) I could have taken lessons from the likes of you. You seem patient and happy , that makes all the difference in the world.Keep up the great work. Today's youth needs to have hobbies such as music, you make look fun , and that is inviting.

    I really like your method of teaching. I fixen to start taking entry level lessons, as soon as my new guitar comes in. I have been looking around for an online teacher. You are the one I like the best. Like you said, make it fun and you do. Your teaching methods makes it FUN. The way you teach someone a few cords, then say what songs you can play by learning those cords and touch on how to play a few songs with those cords you have just learned. I love that. That way someone can start learning a few songs while they are leaning the cords. That's good practice too, "Awesome". Takes away the boring part of just learning the cords. I will be signing up with you in a few days. Thanks for sharing these free videos with us, showing your style of teaching. It was a big help to me on finding myself who's going to be my instructor. I'm really looking forward to getting started with you. Thanks Again!!..

    • @stinemusiclessons
      @stinemusiclessons  2 года назад

      Thanks for watching, Frank! :-)
      Re strumming patterns, Steve usually uses a more "organic" approach. Which means, instead of teaching a set strumming pattern, Steve shows you how to find the rhythm of the song and play it in a way that feels natural to you.
      Follow this link: guitarzoom.com/products/strumming-made-easy-3
      ...scroll down a little, then watch the video in the middle, "1 Critical Rhythm Skill." In that video, Steve will talk more about organic strumming. So you can play songs with less stress, and sound more authentic at the same time. :-)

    Great tips. Helped a lot with the C to G chords. Thanks for that. Is there anyway you can add a strum pattern to the video notes somewhere? I started and stopped the video so many times but getting different results. Maybe just one or two songs from your list here. TY. 😊

    Hello I'm Wayne. Been taking lessons since I was 15 but I still suck but I like to play the guitar I'm 65 now I wanted to mention to you that you're the way you approached helping people I've seen quite a few people on RUclips I think it's an awesome approach it it made me want to stay and listen to you and they did the DC e chord g chord I've gotten that down pretty good but I wanted to mention one thing that you don't get into emphasis while you're doing it is a lot on the chords but not on the strumming in the strumming seems to be difficult for me sometime if it's up and down or a down and a backup and whatever I just thought I'd mention that I think it's important thanks

    • @stinemusiclessons
      @stinemusiclessons  2 года назад

      Thanks for the feedback! First of all, you don't suck. You just don't know how to do something yet. And on top of that, you're making the effort to learn something new.
      Just wanted to let you know, if you enjoy Steve’s RUclips videos, you should definitely check out the new GuitarZoom Premium Membership → guitarzoom.com/join

    HI, totally cool for a beginner. I'm using a child's guitar to learn to play. I'm a violin player and it feels foreign and I'm trying to get my brain to convert. It's great to learn with such a cool song. I walked into a "real" guitar store to buy a string for my guitar and the guy said to take the string (thanks Banana Guitars San Rafael) and move away from the counter - LOLLL I will learn to play on this little guitar and manifest a real guitar.
