The boy's reactions backstage and the judge's comments after and during the over me performance were almost all praises to jay. These are proof that jay did so well yet I don't know how he placed last.

SoKo bias against him is unhinged. Period. It's ironic considering that many top idols especially nowdays are of mixed heritage and he meets (right or wrong) current Korean visual standards effortlessly - just look at 2 TXT boys, for example.)
This young man is beyond reproach (can't share more, but FACT) and is targeted for essentially same reasons so many (increasing daily, tbh) adore and respect him - he's a multi-dimentional "threat" - looks, talent in many areas. Even from vanity standpoint, his face doesn't need plastic surgery that others endure to get his features. I may sound like a biased adjumma, but it's obvious. It's about jealousy and attention-seeking juvenile baseless allegations from a few brats. It doesn't matter if any apologize. Jay is one determined stoic young man. He will succeed eventually, but emotionally it's brutal. I hope all who appreciate him continue to introduce others to his talent. It made me so happy to see billboards bought by his fans even if outside of S.Ko. ❤
As a jaystar, the amount of hate Jay is getting will never not be insane. And the fact that each time he gets dead less or isn't appreciated, he loses confidence, he expects people to hate him. He expected to lose his seat in the top9 during the second elimination, and he wasn't surprised at getting last place in Over Me because people didn't cheer for him. What they're putting this man through is nonsense. Even if you don't like him, can the on-site fans at least be objective? We all know the song wouldn't have been as good without Jay's adlibs, but they're so eager to jump on his hate train because of fake rumours that they just ignore the fact that he's really talented and deserves to debut. It really makes me upset. As someone who went to his tour with Beomhan and whose sibling went to school with him, he's such a great, kind person. Please vote for him, he deserves to debut, and please don't believe the fake people talking about him and spreading rumours.

My heart broke for Jay too when everyone else in that room was surprised by how he ranked and his points but he wasn't. When he said he wasn't surprised because he saw people weren't cheering for him as much when he was on stage, it was just so sad. Like all the boys in that room were stunned. Mnet has not really been helping their sketch reputation lately by hiring back not just one but two people who were previously proven to have been involved in rigging.

fr fr. at the end of the day, the songs themselves were always going to be a deciding factor in who won- switch was everyone's 4th-5th favourite song, supercharger grew on ppl but it was still people's second or third favourite song with not many popular trainees performing. en garde is the most polarising rank bc the song bangs so hard... but fanservice-y songs are always going to be the favourites in competitions like these. it was between smn and over me and everyone knew it, and the sexy concept pretty much always does best in the live audience voting.

i was really sad that jay placed last and also i heard that the reason why he placed last was because there was a lot of people who hate him in the audience and they purposely voted no for jay and it just made me mad hearing that.

@@edyness2407 I still get flashbacks of the hate Hiyyih recieved for debuting. During the livestream of the finale people were paying money to write a highlighted hate comment about here. It was insane. Some people's racism really showed that day.
@@kpoppy9635 Much like Hiyyih, the hate is fueled by rumors and racism towards Wasians (by Inetz more than Knetz, actually. People blame Knetz solely for the discrimination he's facing, but the rumors and racism started and is still fueled mostly by Stan Twitter, which is mostly Western stans). These Twitter stans know the rumors aren't true, and just make up new rumors to hate him.
They even recently tried to trick ARMYs into thinking he hated Jin with fake tweets (he went viral for being Jin biased recently, so ARMYs want to support him), and that failed immediately because ARMYs are the best internet sleuths.

I am of the opinion that everyone in Over Me deserves to get first place but if push comes to shove and we have to rank- Jay deserves better!

Yeah it's absolutely unnecessary, last place doesn't even mean anything it just hurts feelings. First place as well, for example gyuvin placed first twice but both times that rank wasn't well received. It's just a tool for mnet to manipulate the votes in the direction they want. I've long stopped giving those placings meaning.

Thank you for speaking up for Jay. Jay deserved everything. Jay lost his confidence a lot, in the beginning you can see how Jay was excited to perform. Now he's just want to perform in the final. Over me evaluation and people's hate really broke Jay's heart.

I am tellling you, Boys Planet is really exhausting me these days.
I always see people comparing Wang Zihao to Huening Bahiyyih, saying that if he debuts it would be as unexpected as here debut because they both get no screen time. Obviously I would love to see that again because we all love seeing Mnet's plans fail and because Zihao is a very good dancer.
BUT as a Hiyyihlight who was there during the aftermath of the finale, I can tell you that the suprise debut is only half of Hiyyih's story. The hate she got afterwards, people saying that she was talentless and didn't deserve to debut, that she deserved it the least out of everyone in the finale. I never want to see that again. None of the trainees deserves to suffer like that after working hard and going through the hell which is a Mnet survial show.
And this kind of hate is something I see targeted at Kim Gyuvin these days. It's the exact same but instead of Nepotism it's Pretty Privileges. And it makes me so sick. Sure, no one has to think that Kim Gyuvin performed the strongest in "En Garde". But some people can't express their opinion in a way that is not straight up hateful.
Sorry, I just had to rant. No one deserves to go through was Bahiyyih went through.
And Jay deservs better than to perform in front of an audiance with people who hate him. Another trainee who can be compared to Hiyyih too well. Why does everything have to happen again and again?

I agree- but I feel like the Bahiyyih of the season is Ricky, he just recently made it into the Top 9 after the 2 elimination rounds and he gets minimal screen time. Plus, his fan base is mostly consisted of international one-pick fans who obviously fell for him before the show even started… but- I’m not complaining, he honestly should debut solely because of “Young and rich, tall and handsome” 😂🤣🤭😅🥹
The sad thing is if Ricky ends up taking a spot in the debut lineup from some one like Gyuvin, I just KNOW he’s gonna get hate for not being in the Top 9 from early on… I’m seriously worried for Keita, Ricky and Jay in that sense; and notice that they’re all G group trainees, cuz NO ONE was mad that Tae Rae and Gunwook went up to the Top 9 and they’re both from K group

As a Jongwoo stan I have had thoughts of everything between "he'll make it for sure because of x reason" and "there's not enough spaces, what if he's eliminated 😭". So now I'm just helplessly waiting for the eliminations episode to come so I can be put out of my misery : ) and finally end the anxiety of not knowing

bruh jay’s literally been my fav since the rush hour performance for the star level test. he got like 0 screen time the entirety of the dual position battle episodes, and he wasn’t even the main vocal, and it was obvious that mnet was tryna show jongwoo more, and jay still stayed so close to the top 9. so i’m slightly confident that jay will debut but i just like his voice so much like he needs to debut. and i hope he doesn’t get discouraged with all the hate he gets, like he’s soo talented

I'm so glad they included that scene. I hate the editing that just leaves everyone's feelings up in the air and for speculation. They were both very mature in expressing their feelings and validating each other's point of view. It was an excellent big brother moment and a good lesson. I think it's really important to show the audience this conversation.
I really like seeing this side of Jiwoong too, I think he really suites being the oldest/leader because he can be silly and allow himself to be poked fun at, but he is also very mature and empathetic.
Yeah, I also think he express his ideas that are the best for the group, making ir clear to Mathew, but also taking care of Mathew feelings, I think is so good for the group debut. I didn’t like Him at first, because people were only voting for him for his visual, but now I can see his values as a person.
Yeah and Jiwoong also basically stood up for Seong who wanted the part but rather preferred everyone to be happy. I thought it was very admirable bc I’m sure he is very close to Matthew and who would WANT to jeopardize a friendship?

Praying everyday for Seowon P18 and Woongki P17 so we can have another Planet Camp tour 🤞 I also really liked the way they edited the performances with less reactions but then upload a specific one only with the trainees reactions cause it was really getting out of hands 🤡 At least Jay got some recognition from them …

I don't understand why people say Jiwoong didn't fit the concept- Sure he's more known for sexy concepts, but he was adorable in “Say My Name”... He didn't stick out the most; but he was perfectly fine.

Fingers crossed that Over Me stage on MNET Countdown changes some minds about Jay.
thank u for defending jay. his entire career is on the line bc ppl are spreading misinformation and mindlessly hating. this is his last chance (his words) and he truly needs to debut, hopefully by the time he's officially debuted people will open their eyes and listen to the proof and move on. we don't need everyone to like jay, but to bully him is just wrong, especially when he's done nothing to deserve it. jay is a kind hearted and genuine guy. people tend to not focus on how much of a team player he is, he's extremely talented, hardworking and always does what's best for his team. without his vocals a lot of these performances would be lacking. his voice alone garners so much attention whenever a preview or teaser is released. so many waited for Over Me bc of how great jay made it sound in the teaser, but the rank was extremely disappointing and soooo unexpected. everyone was outraged and even the trainees were getting up from their seats in shock. its unfair and genuinely so upsetting how badly these malicious rumours are affecting his placement in this show (as well as his confidence and i can only assume, mental health.) y'all, please vote for jay..live voting on the 20th is important and we gotta work hard to make him debut, he deserves it so so so much. jays been working hard for years, let’s make all of his training worth it.

Watched it yesterday completely ruined my Easter. Came to the conclusion it’s just a popularity contests because Jay is one of the best singers how could he get last place.

Personally I wanted Matthew to place first in Say My Name he completely suited the concept and was the first fancam I went to watch.
He definitely has the most natural cuteness to him and the way he executed some of the choreography was really nice.

My Opinions on the “Artist Battle” =
First Place : “Over Me” - Trainee #1 : Jay
This is the best song and even though all performances where mid, Jay stood out the most with his vocals and didn’t deserve last place; so I’m happy he still got the benefit.
Second Place : “Say My Name” - Trainee #1 : Matthew
Honestly- kinda iconic of Matthew to be so vocal about not wanting this part and still SLAYING THE ABSOLUTE FUCK OUT OF IT! Like, my eyes where ONLY on him for the ENTIRE TIME; sure it could’ve been cuz of the drama… but I still think he did the best
Third Place : “En Garde” - Trainee #1 : Hui
Similar case to Jay, I was so shocked by Hoe Taek’s vocals and I think he’s a little underrated. I know he poured his heart and soul into the performance, and sure; Gunwook definitely had the most impact in the dance but I got sick of it since I’ve seen it so many times…
Fourth Place : “Supercharger” - Trainee #1 : Haruto
C’mon! It’s the ONLY option… but honestly, Haruto went through so much and for a performance filled with 2 babies, 3 bottoms and a token straight; they kinda did the damn thing…
Fifth Place : “Switch” - Trainee #1 : Park Hanbin
This performance was just so bland and I was super surprised since it seemed like this group was STACKED (I mean- you got Keita, PHanBin, Tae Rae, Jong Woo, Kamden) so that’s why it’s last…

Still rooting for WANG ZIHAO to make it to the top 18. A Main Dancer of the group can't look better than he. The # of views in his fancams can show how likeable he is and is still growing on people. Lack of screentime (deliberately done, I suppose) hampered his popularity plus the fact that he got sick and was not included in the HERE I AM video. Looking forward to his future performances.

I unfortunately need to correct you regarding Seunghwan ranking as he's not climbing the rank, au contraire, each week since the beginning he has been losing positions. I truly hope he won't be eliminated as he's in my top 9 but I'm starting to lose hope... I'm honestly also worried about Jiwoong because of all the stupid spoilers/speculations I see in tiktok regarding the ranking in which he's number 10 or has dropped etc, like HELL NO. Again the Jay situation is ridiculous, it's obvious Mnet doesn't want him in Bep1er and this sabotage thing is going too far.
WHAT?! Jiwoong in 10th?! I'd seriously die if that where the case- I'm also shocked that MNET switched up so quickly with Jay... In the beginning, it seemed like they let us know right off the bat that the only 3 G-group trainees they wanted in the group where Zhang Hao, Matthew and Jay. So after the second mission where he got overshadowed it seemed like they just forgot about him. But they also just treat G-group so weirdly too because they just evil edited Matthew and are somehow still allowing Keita to stay in the Top 9 when they don't seem to care about him at all... I'm just hoping the One-Picks come through in the finale. 🤧🥹😭🫠🥺
Wang Zihao needs to make it atleast to the finals, I feel like 3 pick system overshadowed him a lot, besides he was the only low rank trainee that got 100% support everytime, he also has the highest fancam views, that too without any screentime from msnake. 😔 Our hardworking angel Wang Zihao💗
ive been stressed OUT for a week. doesnt help that my picks are keita and jongwoo i have no clue wtf is gonna happen. super glad phanbin is no 11 rn coz hes my third pick but he deserves to be in debut lineup imo. also for the first time in a survival show ive watched, the number of dozens are incredibly low (basically just takuto, i love him though) so the idea of literally anyone being eliminated is breaking my heart.

People need to recognize Wang Zi Hao existance rn. I cannot blame you guys for not putting him on your top picks obv bc you don't know him well bc of mnet editing. He got the least amount of screen time in any possibly way of editing. But trust me he is the 'Dark Horse' in this show. He shine only through only perf. & people can see that. His perf. didn't lie & that is a 100% pure talent if you ask me. Plus, That's why his indv fancams got some of the highest views out of all. You know why? Bc of his impact got people is curious about this mysterious boy. This is the same person that YougJun the Star Master had dare him to go on Street Man fighter show & this is the boy that PGunwook & Keita admire. He has no drama, multi talented (the best dancer among trainees) , humble, always smilling, hardworking by taking dance class regularly on weekends, and has a very friendly & bubbly personality. So mnet hate that.
Mark my words, even if he cant debut in the final idol lineup, he can be more succsessful in the future. He has a strong fanbase & a lot of people trust his capibilities especially the mentors & professionals. Look, he is now under training with Trix (world's no. Krump dancer). He has gotten better w his Korean & a lot of opportunities will come to him. Mnet will be on their knees by missing a gem like him in this industry.

I have a few different opinions about the ranking. First, I'm fairly certain Chen Kuanlui joins the trainees you put as certainly eliminated because I just don't see him making it, if you look at the score for the previous round, the 250 000 benefit Phanbin got only made him rise above Ricky so... one place. Is one place enough to really change things? Next Taerae, I'm 99.99% sure he didn't fall, he's a lot of people favourite and if you see the live audience, his name is everywhere, I think he can only rise. What's interesting is that Kim Gyuvin was shown 16 and you still put him 7, I think them leaking his fall will make him rise to 12-13 max. I think he fell for a reason, he's a filler vote and that means getting back up is harder then that. I would switch Gyuvin and Taerae, Jay and Jun Hyeon maybe and I think Haruto is lower, Shanbin is still first. And I think ZIhao and Haruto are the ones that will make it but barely, Jeonghyeon became really popular in SK so if Ifans don't have him below 25, he could make it. I think Jongwoo is gone with last episode and Woongi boy, Seunghwan and Kamden are the biggest idk for me.
Other then that I'm so happy for Phanbin, he went down one place last episode at 14th and I felt like it was too close to 18th for comfort. I don't get how he's not in the Top 9 but somehow, I feel like him getting in it now would only make me sadder if he doesn't get in, in the final lineup.
I just pray everyday that Woonggi makes it and also Seowon, like without them the show is going to be soooo boring, and the fact that Haruto is also at risk??? people hate having fun I guess
I think lee jeonghyeon is gonna survive. He got a large Korean fanbase and 1pick voters. In the previous episode he was shown rank 14 , he literally jumped 10 spots.

I’m a fan of FM fam, Jays company, and Jay getting all this hate seems so unreasonable. He’s an amazing vocalist even though he takes a second to learn the dance. If you listen to his solo music he’s amazing. Honestly though I don’t want him to debut via Boys Planet purely because I want him to debut with Beomhan

I definitely hear you. The oldest in the over me team is like 4 years younger than me so I just couldn’t see them that way lol 😂 but they did great! Their vocals were on point, especially Jay! And the choreography was done really well too!

Is the hate train on jay still going on?! I thought it calmed down a little bit. I don’t understand why they are hating on jay when all he does is serve us heavenly vocals. And I saw that the head of jays agency released an official statement regarding all the rumors about jay saying that they aren’t true, so why would there still be hate? I think Jay being last is not really shocking as every member of the Over Me team were really good, but to me I was truly surprised about the HUUUUGE gap in the scores between Zhang Hao and him so yeah that's not good to see.
This thing reminds me of Soyeon in MTG who scolded the audience voting because honestly, this score can't be that low if it wasn't related to the dramas

I'm here after reading the title and hell you're right. I don't trust anything atm... I do like many trainees but my main focus is JAY. And it will continue to be him always.
Here’s an honest perspective from someone who simply watches the show & doesn’t use twitter:
1) Fans give too much attention to haters.
2) Fans get easily swept up by everything.
For example there’s a “Jay was robbed” train that people jumped on. It’s giving mixed signals bc it’s focusing on and adding to the negativity. Some fans are even taking this opportunity to hate or undermine the other trainees.
Imagine if instead people had focused on showing support instead of being mad that he got the lowest score (which really didn’t matter bc it’s only the opinion of a few hundred people in the audience? Let the next elimination results prove to Jay that he has ppl rooting for him by voting him). Imagine if fans instead started and jumped on a “we love you Jay” train or something. It could’ve been light, supportive, and positive, & it would’ve 100% garnered more support for Jay.
It escalated to an internal fanwar fueled by Keita's hard carry statement. 😂😂

I think you're overestimating Gyuvin and underestimating Taerae in terms of ranking. Gyuvin might have a shot for the top 9 when it comes to one pick, but I think it would be hard to rise back up now when half the voting period already happened before his interim ranking was revealed. And Taerae is super popular among Koreans so I don't think he's dropping out.
Taerae is no.2 for Korean votes. He's got LYW's vibe that's why the GP like him so much.
Haobin seems to be getting stronger every episode and it’s hurting me. I need my Matthew and Hanbin content 😂
