Keita and Zhang Hao would both be stunning doing that killing part. Zhang Hao does deserve to do a killing part at least once, but I feel that Keita needs it because of his lower rank. The top half of the 9 are consistent, but Keita is in the bottom half of the 9 that keeps changing 😢 I would love to see them both perform Over Me together, but we already know the teams are gonna change 😭

When I had basically the same questions and opinions about Yujin I was told that he is basically korean teenagers' main pick. Also back in pd48 it was basically the same thing with Wonyoung who was 13 at that time and performed side to side. Yes, it was weird af. Also regarding the ranking thing a lot of people claimed the visuals thing about Wony too but I personally think Wonyoung was more advanced performer than Yujin. That is not shade on him bcs he is still young and trained for a relatively short time but yeah I think it made more sense with Wonyoung ranking high bcs she was a strong center and had also much stronger mindset than Yujin whose whole story line is about him being stressed out. And dont even get me started on the hate train if Yujin's one pick surpasses Hanbin's in the final and he will win. How is that boy supposed to handle that? Like sorry not sorry that will really be a mess. Anyways I am voting for Taerae, Woongki and Jiwoong with Woongki being my one pick bcs I want him to do well since he is being his 100% unfiltered self which cannot be said about most tbh. He deserves it.

@@love_yourself2804 As you have probably noticed the number of trainees you can vote for each round Is decreasing. From 9 to 6 and now to 3. That will happen after the next elimination as well and you will be picking only one trainee. That means for example that if a lot of fans of various trainees voted for some others they like less until now will be only able to vote for their fav trainee which might make some of the high ranking boys with no strong "one pick" fan base drop in rankings. As Yujin has a strong korean one pick fan base he might grow even higher. On the other hand Gyuvin is expected to drop at least a little as a lot of Yujin fans vote for him.

OP is saying that they adore Taerae, Woongki and Jiwoong but when it comes to the final vote, they will vote for Woongki.

@@miam_k yeah hanbin definitely has potential, but my only problem with putting him in the vocal line is that a lot of them are good vocalists, so i would have to include them too (such as Matthew) and that would be a bit weird

i would actually say that zhanghao is the best vocalist on the show after hui, and then hanbin jay and seungeon are close behind, and arguably taerae is close behind these three (mostly because of his placement? he just kinda sounds like he lowers his larynx a lot idk)
either way they’re all pretty close in terms of vocals so all of them are the vocal line of the remaining trainees
I still don't get why Gyuvin is so high....... Meanwhile we have Haruto, a crazy talented rapper in 16th or Seungeon or Jay who's vocals are just to die for.

most of my picks survived too but I was so so mad when wumuti and yedam jihoon got eliminated and Takuto survived i am not hating on Takuto but they all literally got 4 stars and were super talented but because of lack of screentime they got eliminated mnet really messed this up and even I agree that I would prefer other trainees in top 9 instead of guvin like yes that guy is super gorgeous but I would still prefer park hanbin or lee seughwan in that place mnet sexualizing a literal 15-year-old is way too problematic and so is people voting for him just because he is young and good looking
Ricky and Jay just have to get into the final group. Absolutely no one can compare with Jay's vocals here. And Zhang Hao deserves 1st place. I will vote for 3 of them every day🙏🏻

I got so much hate for raising voice against Gyuvin, Am so glad that some of the audience have the same mind set. Like Mnet literally has no interest to that person and also giving less screen time. But these creators preserving him like a golden bowl, like I don't understand what is the thing in him that they voting for? He is playing safe so far and getting a peaceful journey while other skilled trainees working with their blood ,sweat and tears. Quite unfair world. God this world has no interest in talent.
let me tell you one thing I have read somewhere " the hatred which one celebrity get can increase with the strong support from his fanbase" , the more you throw hate against to one idol, it doesn't make their fan lose love to them, it even makes fan want to protect and support their faves more like. And whenever you mention them on social media (even in bad ways), it is like a way to promote the idol's name, more people are curious about that idol and then maybe become their fan at last. So, I think it is true to say "idols who have no haters, it also means they are not famous enough, they don't have any topic to be discussed by fan, haters and nonfan". So yeah, I think I already answered your question about why many people drag Gyuvin down on social medias, but he can still get many votes. And I also consider the reason why there are so many talented trainees got hyped up in these comment, but never ranked high in elimination. I suppose that people just hype them up in comment, but never actually voted for them, it is like " talk is cheap, but taking action is hard". It is always not that easy to have such solid fans who are willing to install app then vote for their faves everyday

Okay Here are some of my opinions:
1. I 100% agree with Gyuvin & Yujin. I have no idea why their rankings are so high, and I must admit I fell a bit for Gyuvin in the first few Episodes, but after further development and comparing him to others I believe there are many much more talented people then him. He is good no doubts and definitely has the looks, but talent wise I feel like he still has a lot to learn before debut (and definitely hope he can debut at some point but not on bp, same with yujin, but I never fell for him in the first place so don‘t have so much to say, other then that is it sad how ppl are sxualzing a 15 year old)
2. Hui is cool and amazing and in all honesty I am NOT shocked his ranks dropped. He had his time as a Idol and I deeply respect him, but I honestly think the top9 should go to other guys. There is a time and place for everything, I feel like it would create a weird team dynamic with him being there and being much older then many. I think he would do amazing being more behind the scenes and producing songs for other idols then going into the spotlight again. And I am saying this with all my respect as I bear no hate towards him, just thinking logicall/strategically here.
3. Shuai Bo making it over Wumuti makes 0% sense. Like no hate against Shuai Bo either but he is so not ready. Often times I don‘t even think he is taking boys planet nor himself siriously (it might be the editing idk)
4. Takuto man, he‘s cute and all I get it , but come on, this guy has much more to go before debuting. The judges saw this since the first EP that‘s why he got 0 stars. It‘s nothing against HIM, it‘s basically acknowledging his talent and just sayin hey you need to practice more and evolve a few more years and then you are good and probably much more better and ready to go. He‘s very passionate yes, but passion alone is not enough, there are trainees that got eliminated that deserved far more to stay and perform in the next performance.
5. Hiroto has been dirty with little screen time since beginning despite him having a big popularity, I am glad he made the final cut and I hope he get‘s more light shun on him!
6. YOON JONGWOO mah man! I hope with all my heart he get‘s to debut. I am blown away by his talent, his sexy manliness and leadership and the way he carries himself and others. I feel like he would be sooo good for the group and I hope he does another rise into the top9 🙈
7. Other ppl I would like to see in the top9 are Ricky and Haruto!
8. Haobin deserves the top 2 positions. I know they are pretty much safe to debut and I hope mnet doesn‘t start doing any evil edits. They are both all rounders and I would just love seeing them both shine togheter, I think they really developed a actual nice friendship bond through this.
9. (now I feel like I must say something about almost everyone lol) I do not have too deep opinions on the other ones actually. I like Matthew altough sometimes he mildly annoys me don‘t ask me why haha. Gunwook deserves to finally make it to top9 he freaking slayed in Tomboy and brings great energy always. (altough secretly he‘s such a soft boy) Jiwoong kinda sad he dropped, he 100% deserves to debut too. I hope mnet doesn‘t do stuff to make his rank lower and get kicked out in the last minute. (same goes for Keita!) As for the rest I don‘t have to much of an opinion. They are all talented and good but haven‘t maybe cought my eye and mind too deeply are where I am able to fully formulate an opinion.

I think a lot of teen fans are voting for Yujin since he's their age, at least that's my guess. It could explain why certain younger trainees made the cut (into Top 28) over others, especially when you consider that a Korean vote is worth more than a global one. Zhang Hao is my #1 pick cuz this group needs a top tier vocalist and he has amazing stage presence. My other 2 picks right now are Wang Zi Hao (even though he has no screentime) cuz he's very charismatic and elevates the performances he's in. He has solid vocals even after dancing hard too. My 3rd vote is going between SeoWon, Jung Woo, Matthew and TaeRae. Most people seem to prefer dancers over vocals so I want to give the singers some more love. Though Jung Woo just keeps improving. I like his leadership skills and how he's been trying different styles on the show. Seo Won I just have a soft spot for plus he's in such a dangerous spot in 18th.
I completed understand your thoughts on Hui. I'm rooting for him to have a longer career no matter what happens on the show but I just personally won't be voting for him either.
As for who I envision in the group, I basically like most guys in the Top 12 so I'd be fine w/ any of them but I personally would say I'm the most emotionally attached to Zhang Hao, Keita, TaeRae so I hope they make it. Id personally swap out Gyuvin & Yujin for Wang Zi Hao & Jung Woo but obviously that's just me. No matter what happens, hope the group has at least 3 or 4 global guys in the lineup since that's kind of the point of the group/show.

Please vote for Jay. Dude’s practically invisible in the few latest episodes. Dude’s also hesitating to try out for center (or any notable positions. Honestly he has to be greedy, c’mon Jay, it’s fine to be greedy sometimes). With all of the great vocalists in this season (or all the past seasons including the produce series (that i have all watched)) never have I ever heard a one of a kind voice like his. Like I literally go back to his past performances regularly. Someone commented this in a Jay performance vid somewhere, “Kpop needs a voice like Jay’s to spice things up”.
The effect of the dude’s lack of screentime is present in this video, this video is a good example. Jay isn’t mentioned (barely seen), in this vid.

7:54 I'm barely older than Yujin by a month and I hate how they keep calling him, a kid who's barely 16, sexy. Like sure he's cute and attractive (imo), but 1. calling him sexy is literally sexualizing him, and 2. they make it seem like that's all there is good to him. It reminds me of Hyunjin from skz. People told him he could make it purely off of looks and never addressed how extremely talented he is. Yujin is my top pick for the fact that he's an amazing dancer (especially for someone who's only been seriously dancing for one year) and I like his vocal color a lot (not too overpowering, but not too soft). I hope more of his fans and mnet recognize him for that instead of his visuals and borderline sexualizing him.
