hey yall! to all the people asking why i'm not voting for jay, let me clarify a bit. i actually am voting for him! however i started voting for him AFTER i watched episode 3. the screenshots at the end of this video are from a few days ago, BEFORE i watched episode 3, because i wanted to prepare those a bit in advance. those screenshots do NOT show my updated voting rotation. i should've noted that in the video but i didn't think of that, and that's on me. for my episode 4 video next week i will be sure to put voting screenshots that include jay. thanks for understanding!

Im sorry if u wanna vote for jay then you should look at his past first you gonna find horrible things such as racism and homophobia and many other things ( and proves coming from his irl) that's so disappointing to know tbh there are many more talented trainees than him we shouldn't be supporting such people as him and you can look it up!

Sorry to comment this but keita is total package though when it comes to talent and skills, i'm not familiar with hong hai actually i was shock when he rank 1 in g group, even hui said his not that talented and he was shocked he rank 1, compare to others yes keita rank 3 but when it comes to talent in g group i will rank keita in 1st place followed by zhang hao

yeah..even so mnet should've at least aired his first audition+judges comments on the 1st ep tho,,if they knew already wang zi hao was sick to perform the signal song. Mnet cuted all his scene including the iv ones. Unfortunately most people probably started to notice his existence in ep.3.
Man this guy is so much talented. He went from 3 star to 4 star all by his own without us knew until the next mission. He is so stable when singing & one of the best or if the best dancer among the trainees i've seen. Expected coming from Trix & Lay's training. Also that's why his fellows respect & aknowledge his talents & hardwork a lot especially Keita (for chosing him to be in an avengers team)
I hope from now onwards people start to root for him. He deserves the attention. We all know mnet can get fishy with the editing & treatment for G group. But as the true ones shines no one could deny.

but imagine if gunwook just listened to hwanhee , then the left over trainee would have to go against keita's group. Not to mention keita's group have a lot of popular members and talented members. Even gunwook knows and said that their chance are slim but he chose to go against the odds. I respect this guy.
Yeah he wasn't being selfish and pushy, instead he was being really considerate. The remaining trainees already felt bad for not being chosen, they would've been really devastated if they had to go against the avengers team. If I were one of those trainees, I would feel really thankful for Gunwook...

No but like Gunwook moved to my top 9 picks immediately after this episode. He Gaslight Gatekeep Girlbossed his way through this challenge and he did it flawlessly 💅. The way that he was so easily able to sway this older guy who had already debuted just shows how much influence he has, and his teammates from jellyfish backing him up was cool. I'm so excited for him to be the Sangwoo and antihero of this season 👏👏👏.

the thing u have to remember with gunwook is that he knew the remaining k-group members did not have a chance against the g-group for kill this love, so he didn't want them to get absolutely decimated by the kts g-group. he chose kill this love for them to have even the tiniest of chances to win because he knew that if he left kill this love to the remaining trainees they would get decimated.

I also think he was being considerate for the remaining trainees. He definitely had a better chance winning with a different group, and yet he decided to be brave and take the burden instead of letting the remaining trainees do that. I hope everyone else can also see that!

I thought I was the only one with Kuanjui as a pick. No one paying attention to the man, I do lmao. My picks in this episode did amazing. Zhang Hao an absolute ace, Matthew beautiful voice, Jay no words left to be said, Keita left me breathless! Seungeon CAN SING.

gunwook didn’t mean it in a bad way when he persuaded hwanhee to do ktl cuz he was literally like the only all-star left and no one had made the ktl k group yet so he made a plan on doing ktl with hwanhee (a good vocalist) and the rest of the jellyfish members cuz be honest gunwook was the only chance k group had to try to beat the g group ktl team!! if gunwook didn’t have made this decision, ktl k group would consist of a lot of the lower star trainees, making it even more impossible to beat g group ktl team. mnet just edited weirdly like they always do cuz they love to edit gunwook in a negative light😐
Gunwook didnt intend anything bad :( he knew yuseop and yeojun and he knew they were the only ones with a chance of winning aganst the avengers team. They were pretty close considering they had a missing member and it was my first time being attracted to yuseop like his voice suited his lines so good. If it wasnt that team, the kgroup of ktl wouldnt even had a chance of winning considering almost all the good trainees were chosen by the 7 membered teams. He wanted to make history and yes, he failed but he was so supportive to his teammates like the boy even counted beat for hwanhee when he was asked to dance alone. He was the first one to reject when hwanhee said he cant dance well and at the end, they werent perfect but they made a good team against the unbeatable rival. I really am proud of him and yes, he was so young yet he felt so sorry to his team even tho he himself won with the biggest gap and these were filmed during his nugu era and nobody supported him so much back then. Please dont think of him badly, he really wanted to win against g groups avengers and he trusted the members but it was just too hard, the other team was really quailifed. He did his very best for the team and himself, I'm proud of him :(
I agree! And if I were one of the unchosen trainees, I would be really grateful to Gunwook for bearing the burden to go against Keita's group.
@@chiaralucent7380 yes, definitely. Amd his company friends directly trusting him shows how reliable he is. He really put all his effort into this and won with the biggest gap. He gain almost half of the whole group's votes and he wasnt happy at all after seeing the team lose

I can not agree more with you, Gunwook is really brave, and motivates the team, I could see the vocals of Hwanhee and for me it was so good. I think in this competition they have to show and take risk. They lose but this we wouldn’t be able to see this amazing presentation of the k group. I admire them for giving their everything in the scenario.

@@maheephoenix4398 it’s very balanced in terms of dance/vocals/rap i think. Hui and Jay could be main vocals, Zhang Hao, Matthew, Gyuvin and Taerae lead vocals, Keita and Gunwook main and lead rappers, Hanbin and Gunwook main dancers, Matthew a lead dancer. idk, i just think it works really well 🤔
And I think Gunwook was being considerate as well for the K Group overall. If he hadn't pressured Hwanhee to pick KTL, then the unchosen K trainees would've had to face Keita's group... Which, let's be real, would lower the chance of winning against G Group. It would've been devastating for the unchosen trainees as well. Gunwook knew if they formed a team for KTL, at least the group would deliver a decent performance. And indeed, KTL K group put up a good fight despite facing the avengers team.

I really admire him and i feel heart broken when i saw him crying on the interview when they lost. He feel very sorry for the other trainees as he is the one who initiate on forming the group but still they did put up a good fight!

these are my picks for the final line up cuz if they all come together they will rock the industry for sure bc no.1 stage presence of all of these trainees is 10/10, charisma 10/10 vocals 10/10 (dong hai and wumuti need a little improvement but performing more and gaining experience will make them be more confident and skillful cuz in other areas they are already killing it), variety skills (haruto, gunwook and jay are gonna take the lead I can see their inner comedian), dance (ofc 10/10 all of them are really good and especially hanbin, Zhang hao, gunwook Matthew, jay and haruto are great dancers from what I have seen)
bro I can only pray these trainees to debut cuz they are mad talented and already have that global successful idol group factors in them. idk if any one agrees with my vision here with how I have picked the trainees despite having a bunch of other talented ones
I believe in my lineup the group is truly global with how there's American, Chinese, Vietnamese, thai, filipino, and Korean idols in the group. plz lets make this happen. mnet is a snake but we can make this happen. we still have so much more to see from these trainees lmao but these are the most impressive ones in my opinion

But I really doubt South Koreans will let this group have more global trainees than koreans, just look at Girls Planet 999. The reality was not popular in Korea AT ALL, but at the end there were so many people voting in Koreans just to take out most Chinese and Japanese trainees as possible. Mnet had to leaked the lineup days before the final voting date because it had only Koreans.
I really want Jiwoong to debut with Hui. I feel like they will feel more comfortable if they have someone of their age group

love me right team was awesome, ALL compliments in the world for jay srsly. and i can bet g-group will be the performance that will leave better feeling between the 2, but k group will win anyway bcs of the members/names they have, regardless of who did better.
the picks you're voting for, if it was me, i'd switch out hoetaek and hwanhee, with jay, gyuvin and yujin (gyuvin and yujin will prove themselves, but especially yujin, i have no doubt)

my top 9 for now is: Kim Taerae, Zhang Hao, Seok Matthew, Haruto, Sung Han Bin, Keita, Chen Kuan Jui, Wang Zihao, Lee Seung Hwan. honestly this year im all for g group. yes i do like korean trainees too like Taerae, Hanbin and Seunghwan but bcs i know how mnet favors korean trainees im trying to support a lot of g group trainees. but also its not only bcs they're from g group but because they're so so talented.
edit: i also like Kim Ji Woong a lot but i need to see him perform next episode to see how he performs more.
I actually thought that Gunwook made the best decision to push for his KTL group. At that point in the selection process, there were so little strong trainees left and the chances of their success would have been way worse if they didn't quickly team up - I mean just imagine if they split into the remaining groups. He probably also knew that the KTL song would just go to the last remaining K team (who's most likely also the weakest) because everyone was avoiding it - the competition would have just been so ridiculous and humiliating if that happened, and I would like to think that he cared for the pride of the K group as a whole so that's why he stepped up. He knew that the chances of them winning were so slim but I'm so glad they still put up a great fight till the end.

@@achuuz I think it’s the fact that he wasn’t reassuring kamden and letting him know he was translating that was a huge problem. He would talk over, and when kamden asked what they were saying he just brushed him off instead of explaining. Like bruh 💀 I don’t doubt that mnet evil edited krystian, but it’s clear that kamden felt excluded

We know that Krystian translated between Chinese and English. By the way, the basic means of communication should be English or Korean because they appeare Korean program to make a k-pop group. However, They put the leader up like a puppet who only takes responsibility, and they talk Chinese to each other first and just want him to wait without any proper explanation. Even they are more rude when speaking Chinese because there are no one to understand their conversation except Chinese. If Kanden could understand Chinese, he would never say like "How can I compete when I can't sing that" or "Just one line and you'll win." Plus, crucially, Kanden said in an interview that it was lack to communicate and he wanted that others comunicate with him more. Lastly, Korean people like "Jang Hao". The problem is not that they're Chinese. It's about their attitude. If Krystian or others are popular and acceptable in some cultures, they can sing and dance there. But, it's not Korea..
Of course, we can't tell everything about them with a only three-minute video, but it's a enough reason to be excluded from this program's group because we have many other applicants who are more perfect and prepared than them.. + Even if Mnet is famous for its bad edit, it can't make up words and actions that they didn't do. That's a fact that some cast members have admitted

TBVH I don't feel liks Jiwoong will debut because he played in a BL drama and it's still very uncomfortable for Koreans as they are very conservative. Even if he debuts, he's gonna be getting bullied for it, I'm sure about it.

lol i'm just voting for jay keita and zhang hao and then other trainees that wouldn't risk the position of these three. mathew needs to be in k-group, he's literally korean.
I felt really bad for Gunwook when he cried, but i love him for willing to stand up against a team everyone else feared. He had my favorite stage presence among the KTL teams.
Also Dong Hong Hai really made a good choice with his team, they had good teamwork and fit together so well. I wouldn't complain if only them 7 debuted together.

To me he just seems like a very dedicated intense 18 year old. He's very talented and just wants to do well. The Kamden situation was so confusing 😭. On first watch I was like that's fucked up why they talkin over him. But then I think about it and I'm like why aren't they communicating in English? It's the common language umongst most of them... and why is the leader of the group the guy that speaks Korean and English only when the majority of the group only speaks Chinese? Also if you listen closely Ricky was trying to communicate with Kamden in English but mnet put some loud ass music over him and didn't put subtitles on what he said further pushing the Chinese trainees bad narrative 🙄.
It seems like Kyristen was trying to be a real time translater but didn't tell Kamden that's what he was doing so to Kamden it seemed like they were ignoring him. Also why this amount of confusion when there was a translator, an actual translator provided to them? It seemed like mnet took something that was probably a 5 minute debacle out of the days of training they did and blew it out of proportion.
If you follow the conversation Kamden is trying to assign parts, but Kyristen and the others want to know what the parts entail before doing that. So Krystian is like "no rush" meaning let's watch the song first. This whole situation just screamed communication issues because of not having a collective common language. Which is yet another advantage that K group has over G group 🙄.

I thought Lee HwanHee sang extremely good in KTL, it’s a shame you only focused on only the voice crack at the end. I also feel the storyline about his dancing was way over dramatised, just don’t read to much into it, he ended dancing really well in the end. He did have the flu and vocal nodules in his throat also
actually i'm a big fan of up10tion and hwanhee is my bias wrecker!! my mistake if i like i was hating on him. his performance was mainly affected by his throat condition, which i showed in the video

3:52 actually, mnet evil edited this part. Apparently, Krystian translated several times what the leader said to the other chinese members and Ricky did answer to what he said but mnet supposedly muted it. Of course he must've been frustrated because of the langualge barrier but the editing also made the chinese trainees (as always) look as bad people.
There was so much evil editing it would be impressive if it wasn't frustrating to see people eat it up. Even Kamden's crying may be taken out of context as his mic changes places from the first confessional.
My only opinion: Seok Matthew and Sung Hanbin should debut together >>

the thing is, mnet is never gonna let g group get the upper hand/win. no matter how good they are, mnet is always gonna favour k group because can you imagine the backlash from koreans (like fans and stakeholders). in the end there's no way that the final lineup could ever have more g group trainees than k group.
This was me too evil editing, krystian was translating in mandarin bc they couldn’t speak very well. Krystian is fluent in English he was part of a global dance group for a couple years and they all spoke English. It’s just na kamden was having a hard time to join in when everyone spoke mandarin. True the situation could’ve been handled better but if u watch the scene again the editing does Not match up with their words so perhaps there wasn’t any problem to begin with but na kamden felt so,what left out or lost.
debatable, almost all chinese trainees have proved they are fluent in english in their introduction and side content videos, that doesn't mean there couldn't be evil editing on mnet's part but still it does raises some issues

Since the first elimination is coming soon, after watching episode 3 I searched for all the individual cams of each one of the contestants (yes I watched them all and it took me at least 6 hours, counting pauses and re-watches. Sorry if I don’t remember any names, my brain is dead) and it surprised me how many talented trainnes who have never been highlighted or mentioned IN the show are performing. Some were actually doing a lot better than high ranking contestants, it’s crazy and it puts into perspective that at the end of the day the only ones who get to debut are the ones who MNET wants YOU to specifically see.
i think about that a lot, like they always push specific storylines and usually over half of the trainees don't get highlighted at all
