Agree, I think its fair that K group LMR won tbh cause they felt more cohesive and stable, I think Anthonny's vocals weren't really that stable in this performance and that kinda messed it up a bit but I preferred the stage presence of the G group more, its more memorable, like they suit the vibe more and they seemed like they were having fun, not that K group didn't but yk what I mean. Haruto and Jay should have won their parts tho. The song suited Jay's voice perfectly and Haruto slayed af but oh well.

tbh i think w the feminine thing its bc back door is a very like,,, idk intense and aggressive sounding song which doesnt fit well with their view of femininity which is dumb but they have a point unfortunately even tho krystian is super talented he does seem to dance in a way thats a little more smooth while ricky dances harsh which imo fits the dance better
I agree. The K group performance was technically better, but g group's love me right made me happier. At the very least, Haruto should have won, and the votes between Jay and Hui should have been closer. And personally I preferred Jay's vocals compared to Hui's in that song.

Yes, exactly and I think what people don't realize is on that day the back door teams were the last to perfom unlike what mnet showed us. So that helped in keeping them in mind for the people voting. Since the votes for m countdown happened after everyone performed and they were the most memorable for being last, plus having impact. I think back door k deserves it as much as KTL g team if not more in my opinion.
I love both performances! I agree either one winning mc would have been good. I was so proud of Jongwoo as center though, so it hurts to hear others say they don't deserve it because they did so good!! No one faltered! G group ktl just had more of members who I hear people talk about a lot more about being their faves (matthew, keita, zhanghao, and even wang zihao), whereas backdoor only had yujin and jiwoong (who I feel like people either love or hate) and kinda taerae. And so more people are annoyed the group with their faves didn't get the win.
I honestly think that g group love me right should have won, the group just looked more cohesive and like they were having fun. Hui’s group wasn’t as memorable to me in general. 😭

I was also so disappointed G-group’s KTL didn’t win the MCountdown. Like their performance was so amazing and rewatchable. That brought me down the most (on top of K-group basically winning everything) 😭

I gained a lot of respect for Park Habin after this ep. Him training with each member 1-on-1 was so good of him. And as tired as they all must've been, I'm sure they really appreciated that personal attention to their dancing. Kinda reminds me of verivery's Dongheon in the way he trains over and over and over again lol. OH AND HANBINS VOCALS ALSO!!! They were so pleasant

Loving the Ricky appreciation 💗! Also I definitely think g- group love me right should’ve won instead. Something I’ve noticed not just for that specific group but g- group in general is that they seem to have more stage presence. Although I may bias g- group a bit more I have no problem with admitting that overall k-group, seems more “well put together” or collective. When they perform they have precise movements, they’re more in sync and they honestly, feel like an actual K-pop group. However, g- group tends to bring the personality and uniqueness that k/ group just overall sort of lacks. I can’t get over majority of g-groups stage presence! They’re all so captivating in their own way and I think thats also an important factor if you want to be an idol. Sure you can sing and dance but also having immense stage presence is important too!
Now I’m not saying there are no interesting, eye catching or unique performers in k- group. There are definitely some but I feel like g group just excels at that sort of thing and Vice versa when talking about k-group and more put together performances

I let my boyfriend watch the performance of both Love Me Right group. He's not into Kpop thats why he doesnt know who's performing and let him judge with no bias. I asked him to guess which team will win. He answered that its definitely K group because its already like a debut team and their voice blended well while G group is not that kind appealling but praises Jay for voice.

I already knew that K-group LMR would win when they had Hui and Hanbin on the same team. G-group never had a chance. I also liked G-group’s LMR better.
Both groups for Love me right were so good but G group was a whole other vibe and I think they should have won. I am also very glad that Hui decided to keep the original high note, the other one was too much and did not fit the song. Also who keeps voting for Daeul? Seriously 13th place? He was so annoying this episode and I am glad that one of the mentors called him out to stop relying on his "popularity" and actually do the work.

A note on Krystian - he was supposedly bullied in school for being too feminine to the point his parents had to intervene. If that is true, that is probably why he was so affected by them wanting to change the centre because of what the mentor said.
it was true, he was also on youth with you 3 which is basically a chinese survival idol show. in it, lisa from bp complimented him on his feminine aura and said he should embrace it instead of trying to appear more masculine. there’s clips on youtube of this and you can see how happy krystian gets when he’s complimented :(

honestly this episode was a hard watch.
the votes were... interesting. i mean, it's clearly that they were based on everything but an objetive view of who did better on the performance, it's actually sad. in my opinion star quality is very important but it's not above other basic things. i don't see the point of pushing a "global group" if they want to kick out almost all of the g trainees THAT much, like this whole k vs g is so unnecessary, i really hope they get mixed in the next mission.
i'm tired of mnet pushing this weird narrative on yujin, like it's seems they're really driving him to the edge and that doesn't sit right with me cause they choose to do that on a kid. if they want him to debut that much they can just angel edit him or something.
i believe that daeul isn't ready to debut yet and the fact that he was on the top9 for a while and it's still pretty high (13th) got me questioning everything (his attitude in this episode didn't help either) but the hate he receives is way out of pocket, people be saying really fucked up things. also, i get that doha and mingyu are a great comedic relief + they got charisma, but they're not any better than daeul skill wise, so i just hate the doble standards there.
i'm so happy that jongwoo got more exposure! he's a very well-rounded performer, entertaining and really caring. i'm biased, yes, but i swear he has everything you could look for a debut candidate. maybe it's dreaming too much but i would absolutely love if he debuts, i think he's a great addition.
back door k and kill this love g were my favorites! the group chemistry there was top notch.
as of right now, my top9 is 5 k group and 4 g group and i have some obvious ones and some others that... well, it's not looking that good for me. anyways, great video!! so sorry for the rant!!! :(

frfr ppl forget daeul has only been training for four months. he probably also wasn't expecting this amount of popularity and attention. the amount of hate he gets is wayyy too much. like obviously he isn't that good, even he knows that, but calling him a dozen and shitting on his every move rlly tells me what kind of person you are. not to mention mnet *doesn't even like him* the way they set him up only announcing him as 13th place and slightly evil editing him. obviously ppl are gonna be shitting on him. ppl need to remember this is a competition and it's understandable that he wanted to keep his part, tho i agree that he probably should've given it to seunghwan or smtn. (sorry for the rant lol ive been defending him for weeks)
also unpopular opinion, mnet isn't pushing a weird narrative for yujin. they obviously want him to debut, they're just creating this underdog narrative so that ppl will feel bad for him and vote seeing how they always show him working hard and showing his improvements on stage. as much as i would prefer he doesn't debut as his singing isn't great and he is a bit too young, he probably will since his dancing and visuals are pretty amazing.
I agree with anything you said except Jongwoo. He is a good performer and you can clearly see he is desperate to make it, but he is over-doing it. You can have too little stage presence or too much for a song and he falls in the second category. I see the potential in him, he just needs to learn what is appropriate for which song.

i think jay is the best vocalist of this show. it’s a shame he didnt get as many votes this round, but i think his votes will increase over time as long as mnet keeps his edit positive. so far his edit has been rly good + he’s got this Quality to him that’s magnetic both in talent and personality. a lot of krns also rly like him and have him as their one pick, which is a good sign bc of how the votes are weighted.

chen yugeng did not get evil edited nor do knetz think badly of him from what im seeing. (most of the rxns are sympathetic considering what he had to work with) but a Big problem of the show is that even tho they release individual fancam videos of ep 4 groups earlier, the training sessions, narrative edit, and full group performance isnt released before then and the vote literally ended 24 hrs after ep 4.
any group that aired for ep 3 compared to ep 4 is nerfed a bit bc you lose out on daily voting count.
plus… there’s 93 boys, and you can only pick abt 10% of them for your top 9. it’s bad luck, but all voters are prioritizing their main boys, and i just dont know that prior to ep 4 if chen yugeng was one of the main boys for enough people to count for voting.
also, i expect daeul is going to drop Drastically after ep 4 LOL. he’s a case of the late reveal of ep 4 helping him rather than hurting him. but he caught a lot of shit from knetz for his behavior.

When they subbed Jiwoong listing out the members that he was thankful for after the mcountdown win, Jiwoong said everyone's names but Minseoung's name wasn't even in the subs! 😭 Miseoung erasure fr fr. Boy even got all star from the first performance and you wouldn't know it.

2) can dance
3) can rap
4) is an Ace
5) entertainment king
6) group is gonna be boring without anyone funny. Plus they need someone to go one variety shows. but the fact that Junhyeon is an all rounder is a cherry on top

- Park Gwan Young - from his 1 min self presenting, through his pre show videos and till "Burn It Up" - his vocal! Could be bright, could be soft, always stable. In my world, there should be a line of recruters after him.
- Haru - damn. Give him a few years (oh, I feel that type) and with a pinch of the conscious sexiness - stage will be on fire. He is so good already in his 17 yo. Another line of agents here.
- Kim Ji Woong - because he wants and he can. He was there, he knows the kitchen. I know him from his acting, behinds, vlogs, lives, fan events - just a nice, humble guy, who can sing, who can dance, who can work (so funny to read comments about him giving just abs and face, lol, sure). I still a little bit worried about him though...

I think the results of the other performances were accurate. however, the fact that it’s k vs g group annoys me so much. they should’ve been able to work together. it’s should be trainee vs trainee. at this rate, the final group is gonna be all k group (maybe 1 or 2 g group) because mnet keeps setting it up like that.

this rank was not because of voting, but fancam views. many boys planet fans saw his profile and it's so funny (i think he matched it with his friend), so people became curious and he looks cute too. so that's why people voted for him before and when the fancam was released, it got famous because of how awful his dance is and how he doesn't deserve the rank he got in ep 1. and now his rank is 13th, well it will going down lol some fans wouldn't care about how sucks their talent is if they're showing an improvement, but daeul is untalented af and his personality just so awful and childish (well he's still young so) lol it would be downfall, looking at many talented trainees got fans attention, his cute look alone won't survive~

I love Jay's part in LMR and all of the members did great too especially Haruto ( I love his rap) but we cannot change the fact that LMR by kgroup also did a great job and compliment each others part plus they have Hui and Hanbin that also contributes to their points. The dance practice case on episode 4 :
Why Kum Junhyeon (Sub Rapper 1) is on the center to sing the "hey you wanna come in"? He stand in the CENTER back of jongwoo (killing part)? and the center spotlight goes to him after the killing part jump done?
Did'nt they show krystian (who's also sub rap 1) in that exact same position on G-group practice but give a caption that it is krystian arrangement and the one they supposed to do is krystian quickly go to the side?
So it means mnet manipulating those scenes with the wrong order of the clips and misleading caption?? So Actually when krys stand in the center back of ricky like kum junhyeon in the center back of jongwoo was the way their formation supposed to be?? 😮, and the one where krys go to the side quickly is the one that's an arrangement and krys ofcourse don't want that bcs he already give up his killing part, why should he gave up more?
Also the way it's actually not allowed to change the members part like that unless you change it completely like for example if you want to erase that one part of krsytian's sub rap 1 like that, you should change it all with ricky's sub vocal 1, not just erase one of his part like that, or like when krys should give all of his killing part position, that's what allowed there, you can't only take one or two part from the members and give it to others, if you want to change their position you should change it totally, that's what they showed on other teams when any of them try to negotiate for changing the parts, mnet showed that they're not allowed to change parts like that unless they change it TOTALLY among 2 member's part

i gen think daeul was taken way out of context to seem like a villain. ya'll say mnet always evil edits, but when you see it happening w a trainee u don't like, you jump to say "why is daeul ranked that high" etc. no matter what i see on mnet i don't think any of the boys are intentionally malicious or bad ppl. the same goes for krystian; he has every right to be upset over wanting to change the center, but notice that he said his piece and didn't push back further. he understood what was best for the team in the end. furthermore, krystian SHOULD be self-centered. the entire competition revolves around how popular the trainees are, and mnet continues to evil edit him. if ur gonna talk ab evil editing, stay consistent with ALL the trainees.
I honestly preferred G group way more for the love me right performance I just remembered having a lot of fun watching it and then K group performed and my energy wasn't as high

I have never watched any idol reality shows except iland and comparing to this iland was pretty chill you know all these narratives they wanna set wasn't there in that so i have no idea how these shows worked but after seeing this ep i realized ok so they are biased towards k group and obviously has few favs who they wished to debut so some unnecessary attention is given to them and audience either vote on basis of looks or already established popularity, talent is the last thing they see

I really wanted LMR ggroup to win, but I definitely would’ve accepted if kgroup had won. Ggroup had a better performance (they had more group chemistry and fun together) but kgroup was more stable and was better technically. The one part about their win is the HUGE vote difference. Both did equally well, and who you think should’ve won would just depend on what you prefer, but the difference in votes should’ve been much closer. I wish it wasn’t such a landslide win for kgroup.
Honestly, Love Me Right’s G group did much better. Both teams did well, better than most other teams, just G group’s vibe is on an entirely different level. And how did Haruto lose to the other rapper? The Korean bias is so real.
Jay’s vibe and vocals were perfect for that song and nobody can tell me otherwise. Hoe Taek was good too but you know Jay was better, and Hoe Taek still won against Jay 161-66, like how?? I also think that his microphone flip was cool, but him holding it the other way around looked less impressive and more weird to me.
Sung Han Bin does have great stage presence though, I’ll give him that. But Wumuti did really well too, but I guess Han Bin is just more known than Wumuti is. (Wumuti is seriously underrated for his talent!)
Why do they separate them from K group and G group anyway? It’d be so much better if we could mix and match because some are just PERFECT for each other (like Matthew and Han Bin, or Han Bin and Zhang Hao…)
Back Door was so cool to watch, they definitely deserved the M Countdown (although Kill This Love would be really cool too)

i honestly didn't really like Da-Eul in the beginning, but i feel bad because he's only 18 and he's getting so much hate already. don't get me wrong, i was a little shocked when i heard him say that about his team, but we don't even know if that was completely raw or if MNET edited out of context. it's like Krystian, i was kind of salty towards him after he kept talking with the other members in chinese and didn't even bother translating for Kamden. again. it's honestly really weird to me that they wouldn't translate after JUST making him the leader.. BOYS PLANET has me rolling in my own confusion more than anger towards the contestants because of their editing/what they said, honestly. i would love for all of the contestants to have been given more of a chance to show their charms than what they got. so many of them were hated on because of something they said (that we don't know if they meant or if it was MNET's editing..) or because of their visuals. a lot of talented people were cut because they didn't get enough screentime or because of MNET's editing to make them seem unlikable. in my opinion, more people should have been able to make it through. it's honestly stressful watching people completely carry their teams, have the potential or be an amazing singer/dancer/rapper/performer/etc. i don't believe that ANYONE should get hate at ALL because we don't really know what happened. at the end of the day, regardless of what someone says or how THEY portrayed THEMSELVES or how OTHER PEOPLE portrayed THEM, everyone needs support and love. please be kind to everyone on the show and everyone else. we don't know their situations or what their going thru internally. let's continue to love and support each and every talented contestant of BOYS PLANET 💜
