I fear it'll happen because even in Produce series only one out of two friends would debut even though the both were very famous.
An Example from Produce I can think of is Hyeongjun and Minkyu.
And if history does repeat itself then we all know that Hanbin is going to be the one debuting. (Really love Matthew so I'll be super sour if he doesn't debut).

(also, Jiwoong has been a part of INX, who disbanded a year later and sued their company - they were treated horribly, weren't being paid, were starved and told they "won't die if they skip one meal". My only gripe with Jiwoong is he's clearly talented based on clips outside the show, but in BP, he hasn't really shown much of his vocals. A lot of his popularity comes from his visual which is unfortunate.
I guess that's to be expected on a show with a lot of good vocalists.
I couldn't agree more. Jiwoong deserves to debut more than anyone because he's so selfless and humble. He could show off his talent more but chose to be the mediator and leader in Back Door group

4:23 the only bad thing it's that we actually couldn't see his performance until one day before the voting period ended it, so maybe that's why even if many people voted for him after back door, he just couldn't accumulate that much to be higher

If you can, you should consider voting for Wumuti cause poor guy is only at 43 and is at risk. I really hope he'll get a lot of attention since he was the main vocalist of love me right g group and seems to get enough screen time to get noticed by more fans. His rank is criminally low compared to the other love me right trainees, but I do believe his ranking might get a bigger jump if he performs well in the next performance which I hope will happen. It's just sad to see him ranked so low I'm not ready to say goodbye.
In general, I'm trying to prioritize my favs with lower rankings and g group trainees. I was extremely happy to see that Keita was in the top 9 and I need him to stay there! He kinda became my number one pick out of nowhere so I'm satisfied with that result. I also feel like Chen kuan jui's ranking should be higher. I hope he'll be in the top 20 once we get the second vote results.
I'm having a really hard time choosing who to vote for cause I'm already pretty attached to a lot of contestants but I'm trying my best to be smart about who I'm voting for.

I actually have a lot of trainees who i really admire and respect, but for me Jay is the ultimate top. He has perfectly stable and clear angelic voice, effortless stage presence and amazing dance skills. These talents made him (for me) the person who would deserve the most to debut. I also watched his "Liar" MV, it was sososososo amazing, he was just born to be an idol, i swear! I recommend all starcreators to watch it! ❤❤

If Matthew is one of your picks or you want him in debut lineup please VOTE for him. Recently, everyone has been dropping him to the point he’s ranking in the TWENTIES of both Korean and Chinese polls and only 28 trainees are going to survive. There is also a movement in Korea to stop voting for him or even eliminate him because he ranked above 3 of the F4s. Its really bad for him, and he didn’t do anything to deserve people turning their backs on him, he’s such a happy pill, talented and is doing consistently well YALL PLEASE DONT GIVE UP ON MATTHEW AND VOTE FOR HIM
Yeah, when it comes down to a single vote we will see a huge change. If everyone is voting for Hanbin and Matthew but as a second or third choice but no one is voting as their first choice we will see a change just like all these other shows where more contestants who were never in the top 9 and stayed more in the middle make the final line-up. People should not split their vote at the final vote either because that can hurt the placement of their favorite and another reason why we see top trainees not make it.

But i have been following Krystian since his debut with now united and he is really a sweet person and kind and humble. Mnet did him really dirty. The choreo master too said he looked feminine.. Omg I hope I chan gets more notice now that he got some screen time being the final one to make it. Jiwoong will debut pls🙏🏼 I also don't mind two already debuted idols making the final line up cause I need Keita in there but let's see if he continues his screen time. I also keep reminding myself that this is a temporary group cause if all my favs make it I know I'm gonna have a hard time when their contracts end. Also there is probably around 15 trainees that would be perfect for top 9 line up so not really mad at who makes it. I never watched other mnet survival shows live so idk how much the final top will change but hopefully not by much.
Jay better stay in that top 9 and debut. A lot of people are already predicting him and Keita will drop out and get replaced with Taerae and Gunwook. If that's just for the next elimination, that's fine I guess. But if we end Boys Planet with 2 (TWO!!) G-group members, then what even was the point??? Especially if even Jay and Keita (or God forbid, Zhang Hao) can't debut. That would just prove you can have all the talent in the world, if you're not Korean you're basically screwed.
The worst thing that could happen at the end of the show is Jay getting replaced with Lee Daeul.

I’m really rooting for so many of them but I have to say something about Gunwook. I love his confidence and how honest he is. He doesn’t sugar things, like when he said there was nothing to compliment when one of the teams didn’t do well. He wanted to be honest because honesty can be really hard to swallow and the truth can be painful but they gotta know what needs to be improved so they can reach top 9 or at least become better trainees and get closer to their goal. I see how much he cared for his team and how he wanted them to win. Gunwook is ambitious and I admire people who know they are talented without putting others down. I realized how soft he is deep down when he started crying when talking about his team and in this ep when he was waiting for his results. He’s definitely my favorite and I hope he gets to be in the top 9.

Ive been through many shows like this one and i usually get 90% of the contestants for the final lineup right.
my Final debut lineup:
1. Sung Hanbin: we all know how talented this kid is and how much he deserves to be in the final lineup bc we all know the centers of the signal song are a guaranteed debut member.
2. Jay: This guy has the vocals that could make him the 4th gen best vocalist material and you can agree to disagree but its very strong potential. There is no chance that with his vocals that he wont debut into the final lineup. imagine him and Hui together along with the other 2 im adding into the group . This man has amazing stage presence and has all the materials to make the group sound so good!
3. Kim Ji woong: This man is stunning from all angles but the reason he for me looks like a debut member is he has such a nice deep low voice to keep the vocals stabilized and sound amazing. also he gives me kai vibes like the main center of most of the songs and does the chorus as the main center. Hes a very sweet guy so i hope with a lot of support he debuts bc its amazing what he can bring to the table.
4. Seok Matthew: I've been a Matthew stan since i saw his sister asking people to cheer him on on tiktok and he is my number 1 choice in this group. Matthew has it all hes the cute member that everyone needs but has the perfect duality to be that monster dancer/performer on stage and his vocals are super stable even on par with hui and jay!!! this man is a humble Canadian who deserves a spot on the debut lineup for sure. I think Matthew looking the most Korean for being a G-group trainee is going to secure his spot in the lineup as well as many Korean fans are loving him right now and will continue to do so !!!
5.Lee hoe Taek(HuI): This man has a lot of burdens on his shoulders going into this show being the oldest and having a strong reputation as a vocalist/producer so a lot rides on Hui debuting. Idk if people know but remeber how strong WannaOnes debut was bc of Hui's song energetic!!! imagine the group with a strong leader and composer to make them unstopable!!! its no doubt in my mind he is going to debut but he is struggling right now with the pressure, but i know he is going to be amazing after this first mission test is over.
6.Park Gun Wook: I dont think i have to say why this man is here. Ummm talented AF a strong Visual and a teddy bear at heart he reminds me so much of shownu from monsta X like he has such strong stage presence but is a sweetheart and deserves the world. The evil editing is not fair at all for him because he really cares about helping others while aiming to be a idol. His rapping and build are just amazing and he is a good hard deserving winner for the group.
7.Zhang hao: This man has good vocals which gives me like suho vibes from exo a lot so along with Matthew being xumin, D.o being jay, and Hui being baekhyun and chen, Zhang Hao completes this all rounding amazing group to complete the UNITY!!! imagine all 4 of these vocalist together omg the shows and things they can do will be amazing!!!!! Zhang hao has some more qualities I hope he shows in later episodes but he is a strong contender for debut!
8. Lee Seung Hwan: along side Hui he gives me co-leader vibes to push others along and help them become even greater than before! He has amazing dance and vocal skills to just add onto this amazing line-up I have got together and he is very sweet but funny so we definitely need someone like him to be in the group for sure!!!
9: Keita: This man is such a feirce competitor on all accounts. I have never heard anyone match the tone or beats like he did for kill this love on ep3. He has such duo rapper god potential with Park gun wook to be amazing like ( Sehun and Chanyeol, Joohoney and I.M., Changbin and Han, Bobby and Hanbin) I could go on but like common we need that perfect rap duo to make this group look amazing and I do belive keita and Park gun wook have that energy together!!!
Overall Looking at this list it covers all the marks on what would be the perfect debut group lineup, Im sorry to those who want like a cutesy member or someone based off looks, but im judging how I've always been judging and that's based on talent and popularity. Again this is my opinion and I hope I dont step on anyones toes for how i feel the debut lineup should be but you have to agree with me hopefully and say my lineup has amazing strong potential If i am correct!
This is now edited from the top9 reflection as well. I do think that 7 out of the 9 trainnes on those seats deserve to debut I do think that now I need to see even more from Kim Jiwoong and Yujin for sure, respectfully stating I do not think they deserve to be on those seats as of now but that can change more so as the show goes on. I do think yujin can be replaced for sure by park gun wook and Ji woong can either be replaced by haruto or and Seung Hwan should have been on top 12 too!
