Me and my roommate have been huddled around a TV binge watching your tutorials. So glad to see another! Time to play around for another half a day with this stuff.
1:45 Attaching a roll to a property. 4:49 Template Actor v/s Actor created with template mini rant. 7:30 Roll expressions start. 8:20 ceil() expression (rounds up fraction result from dice roll when divide is used) 10:00 floor() expression (rounds down fraction result from dice roll when divide is used) 10:49 Referencing character attribute in roll formula @{attribute_key}. 13:39 cItem attribute referencing #{key}. 18:00 Creating roll bonus based on value of attribute that increases as attribute increases. 25:30 Compare a string value with IF. 30:22 Can't nest IF explanation. 32:25 Dynamically accessing attribute key values with expression 37:25 and cItem values. 38:00 Using | to show roll text string instead of rolling and 41:55 displaying value when applied.
I would like to make a comparison, for example "greater than" less than". is there a formula for this? The if formula is pretty close to what I want, but it doesn't allow for "greater than" and "less than" comparisons.
I've encounterd what seems like a bug to me. I've created a few simple numeric properties, all in the same panel, each with a default value of 10. But after rebuilding the template sheet several times, (and re-applying the sheet to a test actor) the default value still does not appear. When I use the auto value to automatically calculate a value of 10, the box turns grey to indicate that it is automatically derived from something, but no value appears inside. This only happens to numeric properties inside that one panel. Other panels in the same tab have numeric properties which correctly display the given default value even though they have the exact same settings. Deleting the panel and the properties and re-creating them from scratch did not solve the problem.
would it be possible to add modifications not only for citems but for properties too? my homegrown system gives fixed bonuses for attribute scores and it would be nice to add them directly in the properties

whoop whoop more learning what crazy stuff is possible with sandbox
Simply amazing!!!! The foundry vtt guys should pay you for adding this functionalities to their app!!!!!!!
BAM ! THIS is truly awesome ! Thank you so much for all the time you spend on sandbox & on these tutorials !
I'm an earthdawn gamemaster and the step system is a bit of a puzzle to implement in a VTT. You definitely made my day ^^

Is it possible to call a macro with roll, like 29:51 , but with an @Compendium instead of attributes?
"what kind of sorcery is this" ... so good :-)

Fantastic - anyway this can be supporting special dices like FFG Star Wars, L5R etc.?
Thanks great work.
Do a Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition system and just take my money.
