I did some driving for The Grand Tour and worked for a day with Hammond on set. He was the nicest dude I’ve met. He came and sat with us “normal” lot up in the food bus at lunch and asked us all about what we did and told us stories etc... gave us all the time in the world. Ever since I’ve really been a fan of him. A truly nice guy and a gent 👍🏼
When The Grand Tour Seaman took place in Cambodia, he, Jeremy and James came in to the Central Market and they're like offset or not I told my friends "That's Richard Hammond!! The rest of the Top Gear guys must be here too!" Actually Top Gear and The Grand Tour wasn't and still not popular in my country, it's like I'm the only guy with internet and TV. Then Richard came and asked me I had a little conversation with him and I don't have any poster because I'm unaware that the show will shoot in Cambodia and I asked him if he can sign my T-Shirt. He signed it for me and gave me a poster and said that since I'm the only fan here he gonna get Jeremy and James to sign my T-Shirt too. I'm shocked. I still put that t-shirt in a big ass photo frame and hang it on the wall. That's the happiest day ever.

Hammond is a genius! My favourite moment of his in all of Top Gear was when they repainted their hot hatchbacks in season 22 I believe. Looking at Clarkson's car he goes: I haven't seen it in the light *encouraging voice* - it's terrible!
Based on what we've seen in this video, Hammy will accidentally insult people without realizing it, he's a crash magnet, and he gets his animals confused a LOT. (I mean, who the fuck puts a big dog like a Newfoundland or a Saint Bernard in the back of a small car? It's ludicrous!!) Great video btw 👍😁
The clip of hammond falling over and sliding down the snow, and the last clip with the dog, definitely don't look scripted, and I just keep hitting the replay button! lmaooo
