This is what I feel BBC execs didn't understand about Top Gear. This is the stuff that makes people love the show, and most of it had little, if anything, to do with cars. Also, that warning about not trying what they were doing at home - I think that doesn't need to be said, what was shown should be enough to show that it wasn't a good idea. That warning is needed when the people doing the stunt are trained professionals who know how to do it safely. These three are, well, not that. Which is why we love them.

Only just noticed, at 6:59 the flat cars on the siding are actually US-made and would have been shipped to the UK and used during the 2nd World War. I'd have thought that they'd have been long scrapped by now (well, the early 2010s)
The whole track where they filmed this is a disused line that they run old heritage trains on, obviously they weren't going to get permission to do anything so insane on a live train track. (At least not in Britain.)
