In men, hair often begins to recede from the forehead.
    Male-pattern baldness
Women tend to lose hair along the part.
    Female-pattern baldness
Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata) is sometimes preceded by itchy or painful scalp.
    Patchy hair loss (alopecia areata)
Repeated stress on the hair can cause a type of hair loss called traction alopecia.
    Traction alopecia
t's becoming increasingly common for menopausal women to experience frontal fibrosing alopecia, in which the hairline moves back.
    Frontal fibrosing alopecia
Hair loss can appear in many different ways, depending on what's causing it. It can come on suddenly or gradually and affect just your scalp or your whole body.
Signs and symptoms of hair loss may include:
Gradual thinning on top of head. This is the most common type of hair loss, affecting people as they age. In men, hair often begins to recede at the hairline on the forehead. Women typically have a broadening of the part in their hair. An increasingly common hair loss pattern in older women is a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia).
Circular or patchy bald spots. Some people lose hair in circular or patchy bald spots on the scalp, beard or eyebrows. Your skin may become itchy or painful before the hair falls out.
Sudden loosening of hair. A physical or emotional shock can cause hair to loosen. Handfuls of hair may come out when combing or washing your hair or even after gentle tugging. This type of hair loss usually causes overall hair thinning but is temporary.
Full-body hair loss. Some conditions and medical treatments, such as chemotherapy for cancer, can result in the loss of hair all over your body. The hair usually grows back.
Patches of scaling that spread over the scalp. This is a sign of ringworm. It may be accompanied by broken hair, redness, swelling and, at times, oozing.
    When to see a doctor
See your doctor if you are distressed by persistent hair loss in you or your child and want to pursue treatment. For women who are experiencing a receding hairline (frontal fibrosing alopecia), talk with your doctor about early treatment to avoid significant permanent baldness.
Also talk to your doctor if you notice sudden or patchy hair loss or more than usual hair loss when combing or washing your or your child's hair. Sudden hair loss can signal an underlying medical condition that requires treatment.
People typically lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. This usually isn't noticeable because new hair is growing in at the same time. Hair loss occurs when new hair doesn't replace the hair that has fallen out.

I never sleep with my system. I tape everyday it stays well and is easy to remove and clean up!
I am in my 17th month with the same system. Going to see if I can go 24 months.

I read somewhere about sleeping caps from silk which some people seem to prefer compared to pillow cases. Any experiences/opinions on this? It might look strange but I wouldn’t care. I am intrigued because I need to travel a lot and I have already lost a silk pillow case because I forgot to remove it from the hotel pillow. :(

How do you find traveling with a hair system is ?

    • @Olim22
      @Olim22 4 года назад +6

Berni Kov depends how long you are on the road I would say. In general I have two systems to switch between and do that switch including maintenance every 14 days. The full switch including the full pro hair labs maintenance program takes me about 1.5-2 hours. I try to avoid that during my travels since it is much more relaxed to do this at home and you don‘t need to pack a bunch of products and the second system. I always take some alcohol and tapes with me though, just in case. All in all I would say I don’t find it to be an issue traveling with a hair system.

But you're selling Wigs!!!! I always sleep on my system, if I come up with one and it definitely does help in the morning as I'm full of unusually good ideas !
From now on we'll say" put your wig on and start thinking"
    That's brilliant!
I might get everyone those powdered white wigs!!
Why didn't we think about it earlier?
    They'll be our " thinking caps!😮🤗

when I sleep on my stomach , there is so much pressure on my temples into the pillow case... that was something that came into my mind and I searched on youtube and foumd your video and looks like I was not that wrong with my thought...

I’ve actually been trying to take all the sleep pressure off of my system. Even with using a silk pillowcase and even a silk bonnet… i do damage to the system skin fast. Getting wrinkles, flaps etc super fast. I’ve been sleeping on my back at a slight incline, and even using a memory foam neck pillow to so that the area with the system has minimal pressure on the pillow, basically just enough that it keeps my head up but all the pressure is on my back and the neck pillow. We will see how it goes, just got a new system installed and the last two nights I’ve woken up with my hair about the same as when i went to bed. The bio hair on the sides is messy but the system is almost untouched

I even wrapped the neck pillow in a silk case and have a silk case underneath it, so the little my head does press on it, its only touching silk 😊
