- The new 2022 Bear Archery Species EV has started to arrive and we wanted to give you all our initial thoughts of the new Bear Archery Species EV ahead of our Full Review coming after we spend more time with these bows. In this video, we discuss who we think this bow will be perfect for (looking at you new bowhunters and teenagers, both men and women!), a feature you didn't know the 2022 Bear Species EV had and some shots on the range with it in hand.

Dalton I appreciate your reviews. I've been watching you for about 4 years now. I look forward to your bow reviews in the future Thank you 👍
I really appreciate that and have alot more coming for this year, hopefully more than ever before!
Glad to see your reviews again.
Thanks. Going to watch some of your reviews. Looking @ this bow & the Legit. I am interested in any thoughts you might have between these 2 bows for an average experienced adult man. Thanks. Subscribed.
my first bow was last generation's species. after losing 60lb and a couple of neck surgeries, I really appreciated that my bear bows can be dropped down in draw weight. can't imagine having a bow without draw weight adjustments and not being able to use the bow until i get my strength back up.
Im glad they have an option to fit those needs in a full sized bow and not a youth bow!
I didn’t have any sound for the video?
Dalton , what release are you using in this video ?
Want 1
Can you do a review on the bear resurgence double cam bow.
A Showcase is coming over the next 2 weeks and the full in depth review comes sometime in January 🤘
Just a heads up, the manual lists 6 turns out max for the Species. The Legit is 10 turns out.
Ive been getting conflicting information from Bear on this one. The bows themselves say 10, the manual says 6, the Bear people dont have a straight answer but I do know they use the Legit riser and Legit limb bolt. Ive been testing them turned 10 turns down since they released with no issues.
Any confirmation on max turns on the limbs from Bear on the Species EV?
The answer we received was they will shoot but possibly not as well. We have not experienced any broadhead tuning issues related to turning them down all the way 🤷♂️
Hope they get the draw module better than the paradox mine eats cables and cams and everything are in spec. Bear said well that’s just the nature of the beast.
So far Ive had a few EV's out for awhile with alot of arrows and they havent had near the wear issues so far.
Anyone switch to a tubeless peep? Want to switch and have been shooting for several months, so assuming my strings are settled, but worried about twist unless I switch to high end strings. Thanks in advance
I switched mines right away, new strings need to be stretched again. Just stick with what you got till it don't work save your money
I have this bow and I'm having isssues with my left fletching hitting the frame of the rest. Have any of your customers reported this?
I have only experienced that on a 4 fletch. We have not had issues with 3 fletch and AAE Hybrid 26 or Bohning Blazer style vanes.
@@BetterOutdoorsarchery my arrows are easton aftermath and they have bully vanes. Maybe that is my problem since the bully vanes are a copy of the blazers 🤷♂️
@@ryand5313 They may be a slightly different profile and sticking out too far. Id try a friends arrow with different vanes and see how it shoots.
What does the ev stand for??
I assume Evolution
